charging cradle not workng

After connecting my Galaxy Note to the TV to watch some shows, the phone won't charge in the cradle any more. The phone only charges when plugged directly from mains or USB.
There is nothing wrong with the cradle, I have inadvertently changed the settings on the note.
Can anyone suggest what I can do.

Tab won't pick up dock

Having issues with the Dock where the tab won't pick it up. The tab recognizes the dock for a few secs, the charge light on the tab turns on for about 5seconds and it goes off.
Don't think the issue is with the battery since it takes awhile for it take a full charge, unless this doesn't matter in that case. Believe there's 1mo left on my warranty, should I go for an RMA with Asus or is there something I can try?
Was looking for the latest firmware for the dock but couldn't find it anywhere. Know that it updated when I connected the tab to the dock when I opened and connected to WiFi.
Any help is appreciated!

[Q]Problems with samsung Qi Charger

Hi everyone
I bought myself two Samsung wireless chargers (double pack) and tried them with the original Samsung S6 edge quick charger, with my old Sgs2 charger cable and with a cheap no name charger cable.
With all setups I have the same problem: almost every night at some point the qi charger starts blinking an stops charging. Both of them do. I do not know if it has anything to do with receiving messages or high cpu loads (when syncing/backup apps kick in at night) but this is really annoying.
I am not using any case or anything. Pure S6 edge. Right side up.
Does anybody have any idea? I mean, shouldn't it work properly?
Mine does that too with my Note 5. When I take it off it keeps blinking blue until I disconnect the cable. Seems like those chargers are not that good.
The only way I can Wireless Charge mine is using the Fast Charger that came with it. Using any other charger in the QI charger does not seem to work.
I have the same problem, i'm using the wall charger and cable that came with my phone, same problem at some random point the wireless charger starts blinking and stops charging, i think the problem its in the cable cause i move the cable around a bit and starts charging again, the weird part it's that this does not happens when i charge the phone directly from the cable.
will be sending mine back. really poor product. unusual for samsung
no idea how this made number one qi charger on amazon. completely unreliable
I bought a qi charger from ebay and i had the same problem with you, while was charging was disconnected. Finally i use my s6 edge stock charger and cable i connected it with the chinese charger and all perfect.. I send message to ebay seller with this problem and his gave me back partial refund...
I'm solved that issue with a blackberry cable.
Using standard plug and cable for my qi charger and when I put my s6 edge on have no problems at all strange how some do and some don't get it
tried cheap chinese cable, tried original samsung slow charging cable and tried the original fast charging cable that came with the s6 edge. all showed the same behaviour. i bought the double pack so got two qi chargers and both behaved the same.
maybe it is a software thing?
whatever it is, it renders the wireless charging capability useless

Yea mine did that to so I purchased DreamQi Wireless Charging Dual Alarm Clock w/ Bluetooth by VoltNow and just let it charge overnight with no problems. Its not fast charging but my S6 edge charges from 0 to 100 in about 1.5 hours with no charging issues when I have a notification or its fully charged.
wireless charger
I tried the Samsung flat round wireless, didn't work most of the time, exchanged it for the Tylt slanted upright, works flawlessly every time.

[Q] Note 8 power issue cable won't charge?

Well my Samsung galaxy Note 8 won't charge using the plug and cable (original ones), like nothing is there
And tested different plugs too like note 5 plug and my old htc m8 plug too nothing works, but when i plug the usb cable directly to my laptop it charges slowly but does charge, yet if i left it in my laptop and let my laptop go to standby mode (the phone continues to charge) , when i try to open the laptop again it short power and i have to drain the extra electrical surge in the laptop by holdomg down the power key for 20 seconds then restart else it doesn't even power up.
In short, i went to a mobile shop and upon visual inspection and trying different cables and plugs there they told me that the phone has extra surge in power that needs to be drained. But this process requires opening the phones back which will break the glass and i don't want that.
Does anyone have similar problems or know how to fix this?

Does a Note8 battery charge while at the teal Warning screen for Download Mode?

Hi, I have a Note8 that I can not get to charge normally.
I've tried lots of chargers and stack charging with various on/off durations but no LEDs light and I don't get any booting icons.
Sometimes I get white text on a black background that flashes on screen for a split second and the phone vibrates while the text is up:
"Samsung Galaxy Note8" "Powered by Android"
Just now, I connected it to a 3Amp USB 3.1 port on my computer and held down the Volume- Bixby Power buttons.
The download mode Warning screen came up and stayed up. I'd gotten it up before but it'd quickly blink off.
Now, if I select Volume up (to continue) or Lower left key (show barcode) the screen goes black.
What I'm wondering is this: does the Note8 battery charge while it is at this teal Warning screen for Download Mode?
I'm hoping the battery does charge and if I leave it like this overnight, it might have at least a few percent so the battery will return to normal charging behavior.
Thanks in advance for any comments.
For some reason this phone has a weird issue that, in some times, lets discharge the battery to 0%, making it unable to even hold a charge anymore. A lot of people fixed this by putting the phone in a wireless charger while ALSO plugging the usb charger. This will make the device power on and start charging normally. You might have success doing this. Otherwise, your might need to replace the battery.

Yes it should charge in download mode. Why you are having this problem is beyond me though, I would guess it's either a dodgy charging port, or a end of life battery, or both. If you have a wireless charging pad, try that, then at least you can cross one problem that it might be off.

Thanks for the tip about charging at the download mode Warning screen.
I've read a lot about Note8 battery and charging issues and I have seen the trick with a wireless charger - place note8 on wireless charger, add wired usb charging, remove usb, re-add usb, and it should start charging.
I don't have a wireless charger and this Note8 was a gift from a friend who moved up to a newer, functioning device. I don't have any other wireless charging phones so I'm hoping to get this Note8 charging again without having to buy a wireless charger. Though, that is my next and final step.
If it charges while at the download mode Warning screen (it has a white triangle and exclamation point at the bottom), I hope it'll be able to charge normally by morning.
If I had an in-line USB multimeter, I could see the amps flowing into the phone and be able to tell if it's charging.
That's something else I might get in addition to a Qi charger.
