P9 EVA-L09. I am trying to get original firmware.
The phone was rooted. I relock the bootloader using adb. After that phone has stuck in Huawei eRecovery and can't download firmware.
I use the dload method to perform upgrade. I have downloaded few months ago two zip files.
First copy only the UPDATE.APP (~2GB) file to dload folder on sdcard. Then phone start working. After that from the other zip replace, put the all files
in dload folder. Upgrading was successful, but few apps are missing - camera, contacts and etc -> example ?
Trying this image says: installing updates fails after 10-15%.
Can you suggest me how to fix it or may another image to use?

Did you restore stock ROM (by eg HWOTA) before relocking - because (re)locking invokes Factory reset. There was also another report of similar brick bexause of relocking with rooted or custom ROM.
No I am not. It was stock rom which I rooted.
I am trying several update.app but when processi is complete always something wrong. No all apps installed or keyboard missing and etc.
Can you suggest me what and how to try to install?
I found this link with images.
I am downloading both B136. First I have to copy UPDATE.APP to dload folder on sdcard from update.zip. Then delete update.app from dload
and extract all from B360_update_data_full_hw_eu.zip to dload folder and again perform upgrade (turn off the phone, then holding vol up + vol down + power key
until logo display)
Is that correct?

I had my phone rooted and recieved the 188 update but for some reason update was giving an error when updating so I unroot and did a factory reset but the problem is still not solved, I cannot make the update. Any ideias for a solution ?

Where do I get it?
Open the internal memory and look for folder OTA or OTA_dload or something like this then upload it somewhere I recommend mega or google drive
The folder dload_OTA is empty inside...
I think the problem is the root. I cannot unroot it properly so it doesnt update..
In mine OTA file "update.zip" is located in the folder "HwOUC"

1. Make full unroot and reverse to original recovery if you install TWRP
2. Make Hard Reset(Wipe cache and partition) twice!!!
3. Copy the update.zip into folder dload into internal memory
4. Install as local update!

Main problem is here: "Make full unroot and reverse to original recovery if you install TWRP" how to make full unroot.. I tried by the SuperSU app and did not work, tried SRSRoot but unroot only worked until phone restarted... how to install TWRP?

what is error or message when you enter password ? are there, pasword are incorect, or, pasword was corect but somthing wrong blablabla, what is mesage ?
if you played with nuget and root, you maybe broke your data parttition, thats why need to return to nuget twrp and need to flash properdatafix.zip, after that you need to be able to fix isue!

Decryption unsuccessful
You entered the correct password but the data on your phone is corrupt.
To resume using your phone,you must perform a factory reset.
After the reset ,you can restore any data that was backed up to your google account.

bootloader locked /unlocked ?
reset is done thro twrp or huawei recovery ?
All you need to do is go into your recovery and do a wipe partition and do a factory reset. You will need to reboot your phone a few times before you get back into EMUI.

USB connected to the computer, connect the phone, hold the volume down
3- INSTALL TWRP
Open folder 1
Doble click in windows the .bat file.

EMUI recovery will flash UPDATE.APP then flash the dt, then hw updates after.

The solution to unlock your bootloader (using the official method or dc-unlocker), flash TWRP, flash this zip then reflash the dload file.

I am having same problems....
type password to decrypt>> password correct but data on phone corrupt must reset phone>>> press factory reset >>> reset successful>>
then warning message 'device failed verification and may not work properly' >>>> goes back to step 1

I had some issue after updating to B370 OTA so I decided to reflash my phone. I was able to flash L09C432B360 FullOTA-MF-PV update.app from update.zip. However I tried to flash update_data_full_hw_eu.zip by extracting all files and putting them in the dload folder on SD and going vol + & vol - method, it runs the updater really quickly but does not install anything new on my phone and my bluetooth doesn't work and other stock apps are missing. Can anyone help?

You don't have to use all the files from "data_full...", you just need the update.app for dload. Try a reflash.

I can access fastboot. Phone unlock & frp unlock but when i try to flash something i get remote command not allowed
download original firmware for your device e.g. L09C432B386 (the firmware most people on this forum use, is the most up to date from Huawei)
Extract from the zip file the UPDATE.APP file and move it to an external sd card with folder "dload" (without quotation marks)
Then turn off phone. Then hold volume up + down and Power button at same time.
Your phone will then force flash the UPDATE.APP file which will give you stock rom again.
Alternatively, if your fastboot works and you want to flash Lineage, you can flash (through adb) TWRP recovery and then flash lineage.

I used this link (not mine) to download stock firmware. Choose whichever one is best for you:

If you have a decent internet connection, should finish downloading firmware in 20 mins?

You have PRA-LA1 so L01 and L21 probably will not work, find LA1 first.
Installation Instructions
Take a full backup of your important data before proceeding.
Download “update.zip” and “update_full_PRA-LA1_hw_meafnaf.zip”.
Connect your device to your computer via USB and create a new folder “dload” in the external microSD card or internal memory.
Now unzip the “update.zip” package and copy the extracted UPDATE.APP file to the new dload folder you created in the previous step.
Now with phone off press vol +, vol - and power at same time and release on boot. If the installation succeeds proceed to the next step otherwise try installing this update with TWRP.
Once your phone starts up, replace the UPDATE.APP package from dload folder with UPDATE.APP package extracted from the cust package (“update_full_PRA-LA1_hw_meafnaf.zip”).
Now install this package by repeating steps above.
TWRP Method
This method requires your phone to have a custom recovery like TWRP. Simply download both the packages from above and copy them to your device. Now reboot into TWRP mode, take a full backup, and then install both packages (update.zip first). Reboot your phone normally upon completion.
