someone managed to install bixby voice on galaxy A8+ ?
No, the app should be modded, Samsung made some restrictions for the app itself. No way to install it in the first place.

I just got an s8 plus from t mobile that has the Bixby remapping working on it. My phone has a firmware update and a Bixby software app update asking to be installed, does anyone know which update breaks Bixby mapping? Can I just update the Bixby app or is that not safe either.
Thank you guys!

It will take some time if you take the firmware + bixby updates from T-Mobile because T-Mobile devs helped make the bixby button not remappable. So until then if remapping is a good feature for you to have, don't update your phone. Just wait until devs find another way to remap the bixby button on the updated version.

bxActions allows re-mapping and works with the most recent T-mobile update.
It would be an act of extreme arrogance should T-mobile strive to disallow re-map of this button!
OK so I took it upon myself to test this out. I went ahead and only updated the Bixby app itself and it still works. I assume it's the phone firmware update that could potentially break the Bixby button remap.

Hi, I installed some Bixby apks and only manage to get Bixby Home working.
I tried Bixby Voice and Bixby Vision but it doesn't seem to work.
My phone is not rooted yet, but I think you need to root your phone to get Bixby Voice working,
I'm not sure for Bixby Vision, something seems to be missing.
Ben de bixby home APK kurdum. Ama sadece kartlar çalışıyor. Sesli asistanı nasıl aktif edebiliriz?

Hi, may I ask how did you replace Briefing with Bixby? I would need to do the reverse, since Bixby does not work in the rom I installed in my Samsung a5 (porting a7 2017) and I would therefore like to install Briefing. Do you have a .zip file to flash?
Hi,
I already have a Note 9 (got it right after launch), but with the default apps and procedures, i'm unable to remap the bixby button.
Anyone here already succeeded with this?

How you thinking you would remap it with default apps and procedures?... There is no such thing.
It was rumored to have remapable Bixby but it turned out to be false. You need to use a remapper app.

I understand. But for the S9 and S9+ there is an app in the PlayStore that handles remapping, the app seems to be working fine, except for the fact that the remapping doesn't work haha.
have you followed all the steps to activate and to run required ADB commands?

You have a link to a thread/article for the ADB Commands/procedure,or,just post it yourself.
I've been away from Samsung devices for about six months, would be nice to have the info, especially if the apps in the Google Play Store aren't working.
THX! :good:
You can check app here : BxActions
I've installed the apk for the Google dialer (https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...292-bubble-t3708218/post74588791#post74588791) and would like to be able to use that on phone calls, including the pop-up that I used to get on my nexus 6p. Right now, when I make phone calls even from the Google dialer, it defaults to the Samsung Phone. I understand that I need to disable the Samsung Phone (whose app info points to *Contacts*). Is that true, if so how do i disable it? the disabled button is greyed out.

Guessing that you are not rooted, here's your options:
1) Package Disabler Pro: (or AdHell 3,Google &/or XDA Search for the how-to)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ospolice.packagedisablerpremium&hl=en_US
2) Disable via USB Commands:
https://www.xda-developers.com/uninstall-carrier-oem-bloatware-without-root-access/
The former is easy enough to re-enable the Samsung Dialer/Contacts,if necessary.
The latter (ADB Commands) requires a factory reset to bring it back.
I just tested on my Note 9,using Package Disabler Pro & the Google Phone/Contacts works just fine on its own.

Give this a read, seems there may a version that works on unrooted devices that has the floating bubble:

I always used "Samsung Sound Assistant" app to adjust volume fader skips.
Originally, a single click of a volume botton (physical volume botton) changes by 7 (0 to 7 to 14 to 21 and so on.) But my headphones' impedence (resistance) is quite low and volume 7/100 is still big for me. So I used the app to adjust fader to 1 (0 to 1 to 2 to 3 and so on) on my other Galaxy phones.
However, Galaxy M20 doesn't support this app. Samsung support clarified that they don't support.
Does any one know solutions for this? (Modified sound assistant app, debug maybe?)
Samsung Sound Assistant App (M20 is not supported)

Model: Samsung Galaxy M20 (SM-M205N)
You actually can install sound assistant.
Check this if your device is rooted
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-m20/themes/guide-how-to-install-lock-apps-t4001017
If not rooted there's still a way but it's less likely to work
1.install app warden
2.install sai
3.download sound assistant apk and install it using sai
4.check what permissions the app needs using warden and grant them via adb
Ik this guide could've been more clear but I'm kinda busy rn and wanted to help you out as soon as possible. I'll make a more detailed one if i have the time.
You can install some other good lock apps using this method
