system ,boot ramdisk and vendor partitions are enough to restore from Custom ROM.

I want to flash the new TWRP recovery using CWM (Clockworkmod Rec), but i have a backup file (stock rom) from my CWM,
My question is:
IF i want to get back to stock how can i replace the new TWRP with CWM and restore my stock ROM ?
OR is it possible to restore CWM backup file with TWRP ?
Thanks :fingers-crossed:
Its not possible to restore CWM recovery backup under TWRP recovery
Make a new backup after flashing TWRP recovery
Another option is return to CWM recovery and after that restoring your stock rom CWM backup
If I will restore my CWM backup will be restored kernel too?
My files in backup folder are: boot, system, cache and data. If I want to don't restore custom kernel cause I dont want to unlock my bootloader before just do not restore boot?

if you don't restore kernel your phone wont boot/will go in a bootloop
But I'm on stock rom and kernel and I want restore stock based rom only and skip restoring custom kernel. Can I do this by skipping restor 'boot' backup?

Hi
I made a nandroid backup recently with EliteTWRP before experimenting with custom ROMS. I now need to restore the backup, but in TWRP it is only offering me to restore the /data partition. This can't be right and of course the backup fails. The ROM I was trying was Lineage 14.1. All I get when rebooting is the Lineage boot logo which goes nowwhere.
Any advice here, do I need to go back to stock rom or can I use this backup?
thanks
