Android N anyone?

Hey guys!
So there is Android N preview available for the z3. Anyone knows how to get the sources without a z3 and how to get it on a z3c?
Hardware is basically the same so it shouldn't be that big of a problem, should it?
I am more than willing to try it with my basic knowledge and phone but so far the only way i found to get the android n version for the z3 would be with a z3 and sony xperia companion :/
I have just started messing with Android and my phone again so correct me if i am wrong
Edit: Nevermind, found it in the z3 subsection I am now off bricking my phone XD

One I misspelled the rom, and I put z3 rom on z3c and it got bootlooped, so probably it is not the same hardware

Different kernels mate, you will always get bootloops

i read somewhere that you can get the z3c software the same way as for the z3. connect the z3c and use repair function while holding a button

As far as i get it android n preview is only available for z3 officially. Will set up an windows environment in the next days and check anyways

I love my Z3c and I hope than Sony or someone else will make a ROM *.*

I think if will be released only for Z3, it will be possible to port to Z3C in future. So is not a thing to hurry. Recently we got a Marshmallow with some bugs, so N preview by now is something unnecessary because probably will be unstable and with much more bugs than MM (althrough would be cool to test).

There is a port for the Z2 of the Z3 android N. Hope in a port for the Z3c too

Xperia C6 Ultra : What phone did I buy?

I bought a Sony Xperia C6 Ultra but I can not find anything about it on the internet.
The phone may have a custom ROM and I can't set the Timezone (I can but always come back to China time zone when I left the settings screen).
I can't find any stock ROM, custom ROM or any reference to this phone.
I can't even find a thread to this phone on XDA !!
Please help me with some information.

mediatek devices are different games! Sony Devices on Qualcomm Snapdragons are very popular in developer world

1. There is no Xperia C6 Ultra. There is no Xperias with a 6 whatsoever. Explains why you couldn't have found anything.
2. Judging by the name, you may have bought an Xperia C5 Ultra.
3. However, the version of system (23.0.1.A.5.77) points out to Xperia Z3 family. C5 family would start with 29, and C4 with 27. Peculiar.
4. Maybe try to compare the pictures of Xperias to find which one looks the most like yours? Someone clearly misled you. Z3, while an excellent phone, is also an aging one, devoid of any updates past Marshmallow.

I have the same and it's just a clone from china, that leads us to the question: is there a custom ROM for clone phones?

Help with phone model (Pro, Plus)

I wanted to install a custom ROM but im not sure wich one is compatible with my phone because there are some Pro and some Plus but my phone does not say Pro or Plus, just Zuk Z2 (Z2131 on the box) and im a little confused.

yours is z2 plus not pro there's a forum for that phone on XDA with a lot more roms

I have just went from the S8+ to the X2 Pro and I was surprised how much the X2 Pro is advanced if you compare to it to the S8+ .... loading times, installing apps, GPS catch, network, wifi retention, don't want to talk about the autonomy or the screen on time.... it's just another world. You can switch to the X2 Pro without hesitation. :good:

I also would say go for it , this phone is really great. i have the chinese version and i love it (just takes some extra adb commands and patience to work well in the usa). if you can get the global id say grab it and enjoy !!!

I'm in the same situation, I am currently using a Sony XZ Premium. Also, can any users confirm that it supports Netflix

Oneplus One X Realme X2 Pro?
Hello guys, I have a Oneplus One and I have been very happy with it during these 5 years, mostly because of the support it has at software level (many custom ROMs are available for it), but now it is old and it gives me some performance errors. So that I want to upgrade my phone and I have seen this Realme X2 pro pretty interesting, however I am hesitating if this phone will have as much support as Oneplus brand, because I want it to last a lot and I think this is only got thanks to the community.
Do you think this phone will have a big community behind? I would like to flash it with an AOSP custom ROM sometime.

I was in this forum since 2008 .... In that time I Had a Windows Mobile Phone .... and Xda help to share internet connection via bluetooth and use Phone without Touch Scrren.
Then I Return with my Galaxytab and Asus ZenFone 2 for installing cooking roms.
Now I come back with my Xiaomi Devices: Note 11S Pro, Mi 12t Pro and Mi9.
I Hope learning a lot by you.
