[Q] anyway to get swype from galaxy s to install on nexus one?

this swype version (2.8.50.12867) was extracted from orange israel's (Partner) galaxy s.
whenever i try and install this apk it wont install.
is there anything that needs to be change for this galaxy s swype to install correctly on the nexus one?
the reason i am asking is because it is the only swype version to support hebrew text.

Yes, it's a post to the apk. I reported it over 12 hours ago, guess they're on vacation.

i dont get why it would be wrong especially if its pulled from a different rom. for example, if i pulled it from a g2 (which it comes with already) then hows that wrong? its just like pulling the wifi calling apk. i maybe wrong but its just my opinion.

If it's Hebrew swipe support you want, I suggest SlideIT, not the most accurate swype algorithm but the only one with proper Hebrew support.

i thought they asked us to stop posting the beta version that was for the nexus? if thats the case then i still dont get why we cant pull one from a different rom or phone

I agree! Post the .apk.

Swype from Galaxy S might either rely partially on Samsung framework (not too likely, but not impossible if this version was integrated on a code level - and then someone might have used the framework functions or resources), or employ some kind of detection mechanism to verify the environment it's installing on (quite likely).
I also think this application itself counts just as a leaked ROM would.

The only way it can be posted is if it is part of the rom that it was shipped with.

[Q] How to restore japanese keyboard layout?'

Hi, I bought a tf701t and flashed sdbags's rooted stock, but i can't find japanese keyboard layout in the settings. A lot of the keys don't match now.
Also, i seem to have lost the ime. (Fskaren?)
I assumed that japan was included in the ww sku so i didn't bother to backup the original rom. (So dumb of me...)
Is there any way to restore japanese input?
Am i out of luck?

You are out of luck But in luck as I understand Japanese so can probably put it back in ONLY IF Asus released a Japanese 4.3 rom? Did they?
Otherwise use shimebi or some other such japanese ime input app form the store for now. fskaren might be avaiable too.

I called up Asus to ask about their roms, but all I got was attitude. :-/
So then I started looking for ime apps like you said, and I found this blog:

Paypal Here Concept Rom

Hiya,
Can anyone think of a reason why the concept ROM is incompatible with paypal here?
I updated my wifes z3c to the latest concept last night and it wouldn't install due to not being compatible. As she needed her pin reader for today I put on a ftf of the official release and i works fine.
I would like to use the adoptable storage so any ideas would be great

lol I am a happy nexus user but due to work restrictions I am not allowed to root or do anything fun with it anymore. My wife is under no such restrictions so I get to much about with hers

Font Help?

Needing some help guys.. Does anyone happen have a copy of the SegoeUI font APK? It's the one thing I forgot to back up before I went to MM (I know obviously, my fault), and now I'm a sad panda. I could have sworn I got it off here at one point in time, but it appears that those APKs no longer work (maybe a Marshmallow thing? I dunno.) or the link is dead.

Yeah you're right they changed the way fonts work in Marshmallow it has to be Flipfont compatible or you get that error probably due to licensing issues with free fonts.

It's an update of the google keyboard app...it will come to 6P...it's just a matter of time...this way you can have it now. It may take days before you even see the update in the playstore.

That is very strange, I am not sure why it will do that....I know Google released an updated version yesterday, I believe, so it may have been a bug.

ok I updated today I had the beta before but took the update from the playstore today. I cleared the cache I will try wiping the data next. Also I did visit LA last weekend. But I am not in LA now all my other gps apps work just fine. I will wait until they iron it out. Also I am using franco kernel with the per app profiles gps is turned on.

After I update to Gboard, there is no option to use my picture as keyboard theme anymore. I can delete or edit my own custom theme, but can't make new one. Can anyone help?

Is there anyway to fix 'emojis data not found' I can't search emojis coz of it.

Yes and data roo. Btw I'm on pure Nexus ROM hammerhead then flash a pixel launcher, the original keyboard of mm turns into Gboard, it's good but it won't me allow to change settings coz it's always stopped
