How to enable USB Debugging ? - Honor 9 Lite Questions & Answers

Hi guys,
Just got my H9L ( LLD-L21), when select Developer Option, USB Debugging state was Off. Then set it to On, it was OK, not Error raised.
Then after pressed back, and select again Developer Option, USB Debugging state was Off again. Is this normal behavior ?
Phone was not rooted and Enable OEM lock is On.

Yes this normal behavior for non rooted phones.

[Q] plugging in the wall charger

Starting yesterday, every time my wife plugs in her captivate into the wall, the menu where you chose the usb mode pops up. I cant figure out how to get it to stop. Anyone got any ideas?
Ummm turn on mass storage mode and then usb debugging? Then try plugging it in.
Ionno just a thought since you have to turn debugging off to change usb types maybe having it on will stop that??
OK, I'll give it a try. It's weird how it just started happening

If you are on Froyo, go to Settings, Applications, USB Settings, and do not use the "Ask on connection" option. For Eclair, go to About Phone instead of Applications. Gingerbread has removed this option.

Ways to enable USB Debugging mode

Is there any (by all possible means ANY) way to enable USB debugging ON other than turning it on from menu.
This is situation, I got my self a SGS I9000 (had it earlier, now I am proud owner of Galaxy Note) for a bargain (30 €), thing is it is broken. It has fallen on the floor and now there is no image on the screen (touch is not active and sensitive, but soft buttons are sensitive to touch). I know one thing for sure, the phone can be turned on and can use sim card (someone can call me on the phone and I hear the ringing, so I know that phone works only I can't see anything on the screen or interact with it). The corning gorilla glass is not broken, but yet there is no light on the S-AMOLED. I have also opened the phone and all connectors are on the place (please don't tell me it will void my warranty, I wouldn't want it any other way). I figured it to be only a screen replacement fix, but until I have the money for new screen I want to do next thing:
1. Somehow to enable USB Debugging mode
2. To install things through ADB (but I need Debugging mode for that)
3. To put some application (there are many) to stream (screen streaming) what ever is on my phone to pc, so I can control it over pc (ubuntu linux).
Does someone know of some method for enabling USB Debugging in this situation?
I thought of some solutions but I don't know are they applicable at all:
1. Some script that can enable usb debugging when put on SD card
2. Somehow to turn it on with adb or over usb cable
I think the only way to turn USB deb- mode on/off is via menu. There seems no widget like f. E. For 2g/3g.

[Q] Stand-by greyed out

Hi there,
I'm on WW_epad-11.4.1.30-20150121 (unlocked, rooted). In developer options the Stand-by option (keep screen alway-on while on AC power) is greyed out. As a result my screen turns of after the time chosen in Display | Sleep mode.
Any suggestions as to enable the stand-by option?
T.i.a.
You did turn on the developer options i hope? The only time when it is greyed out on my tab is when dev options aren't enabled.
Yes, Developers options is activated.

Developer Options Charging Bug

For the first time I tried to use the Developer Option that changes the function of the USB port to something other than charging. I wanted to set it to MTP so I could try out Kousch's Vysor program (sp?). The window with the different options pops up and choose one, but it didn't seem to stick. I later discovered that I had to quit out of developer options and open it again to see the change. Regardless, since I fiddled around with those settings, I can no longer charge my nook with Developer Options active. I panicked when I first discovered this, and I tried charging while in TWRP, but that only got me to 50% - probably TWRP went to sleep and stopped the charging progress. Then I tried turning off Developer Options, and what do you know, the Nook charged up just fine! So now I am forced to turn off Developer Options, charge up, and then turn them back on afterwards - having to reset each of my favorite options to boot.
Anyone else having this problem? Know a solution other than reinstalling the ROM and crossing my fingers?
