Can someone suggest a great kernel for the G5S Plus? I'm rooted twrp installed, but will keep it all stock except kernel as I'm happy with what I have... I want to add maybe one or 2 mods, and know a custom kernel will be needed. Thanks.

Nope, NOT possible.
Firstly, android is not really ready for swap and it will most likely spoil your sd card much faster.
Secondly, if you need a custom kernel, most probably you will need a custom rom. My recommendation: GingerDx.
I want to clarify if it ever works in stock kernel? because mine is not possible to unlock bootloader, I want to change my CUSTOM ROM from CM7 to ICS ROM. Many also ask if it ever works on STOCK kernel.

i dont think nAa will develop stock version
minicm 9,10 on stock kernel is impossible.
Its impossible to run CM9+ with stock ROM. it requires swap(I guess) and some tweaks + libs that requires with custom kernel.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi,
Someone knows if is possible to change the kernel in a stock rom? I'm looking for one that allow "mounts", "install's/updates" via CWM and support for init.d
BR
if i'm not wrong, i've only seen cm based ones in this section..If you want you can build one on your own and mod it as you like..There are lots of tutorial available to do it..if you don't want or you don't have time to do that, i suggest you to flash a stock based custom rom..Have a nice day!
just install one...mr. droid...

First of all, wrong section mate. Always post such questions in the Q/A section. I completely agree with @baran0119 on using Battery Extender kernel. But let me tell you one thing beforehand nothing can beat the stability and battery backup of the stock kernel. Then again if you want to enable other features like init.d, governors, etc you can for stock based custom kernels for stock roms. Hope I Helped
P.S. Reported to FM to move to right section.
What in your opinion is the best ROM for the T700? Do you need to unlock the bootloader, i'm already rooted. Thanks for the help!
Bootloaders are already unlocked for the T700. You just need to install twrp to flash the roms. Cm11 is good if you hate touchwiz UI but stock with skyhigh kernel gives you the best battery life.
