Miflash only works on an unlocked bootloader. It appears that you have a Chinese Model and you just did what was supposed to be avoided. You should get accustomed to Miflash moving forward. Never use Flash_All_Lock while cross flashing China/Global roms. You'll have to wait to unlock your Bootloader now and post that flash the China rom to get back. If any time you wish to move to the India rom, either use a twrp recovery or just use Flash_All while using the fastboot image which should eventually avoid locking the bootloader

1. if you can still enter fastboot mode, there is a possibility that you can do TWRP flashing again (the TWRP version must be correct so that the data on the cellphone can be read properly) / Flashing from the PC (if you are lucky, the flashing will work properly without any problem or you can bypass the bootloader locked using software or something else). [make sure ROM version must be appropriate because this is very crucial]
2. You can try using the test point method (EDL / Emergency Download Mode) [This method is usually used if your K20Pro is constrained by Hardbrick due to ARB4] , but this method requires you to open the case / body behind your K20Pro. and I cannot guarantee that the flashing process will succeed easily because in some cases if the K20Pro is detected damage / error due to ARB4, then you are required to have an Authorized Mi Account. I might be able to help you remotely, if you agree with the risks & requirements in the flashing process (I can lend my account, but it's not free).
Hi All, I did the same thing - whoever build the UI for MiFlash should be shot - why default that selection to something that will be undesirable!!?
Anyway, i tried to flash indian rom and forgot to set to Clean All, it locked the bootloader.
So i now have redmi recovery and Fastboot options only on phone.
Have tried fastboot + miflash but all options (now with Chinese rom) - says Erase Boot Error.
Tried MiAssistant + Mi PC Suite - it is not detecting the phone in either MiAssistant recovery mode nor Fastboot mode. what is weird is the phone and connector animation on phone is correctly depicting when it is plugged in/unplugged. But the PC suite isnt detecting the device.
Soft bricked - *sigh.... any help will be greatly appreciated from the community
BTW i am more worried that the phone will run out of battery and never wake up once battery drains completely as it is in bootloop into Redmi recovery and can't be turned off (someone tell me how!?) - I don't see the phone respond to charging in any state... : (
Can you still reach fastboot? If so you can unlock phone again and flash TWRP using ADB. After that boot straight into TWRP and connect it to your computer, internal SD storage should then automatically mount. Drag and drop ROM .zip into internal storage, use TWRP file manager to move it out of the data folder and do a default wipe using TWRP. Then flash .zip ROM (for example xiaomi.eu stable) and you should be back in business. Please let me know if you need any files like working recovery image and further instructions.
I had some trouble with my TWRP recovery yesterday, flashed it on unlocked bootloader with Chinese stable ROM installed, on reboot out of fastboot it boots straight into ROM and overwrites the TWRP recovery with default recovery. I fixed it by flashing recovery again, boot straight into it and flash xiaomi.eu stable, now recovery is TWRP and does not get overwritten.

You're probably going to have to open up the phone and pay $20 for someone to use their authorised account to flash an official ROM whilst remoting in to your PC.

Some great ideas - Just tried to unlock bootloader - This device came pre-unlocked so the device is tied to the seller's account.
I have unlock permission - but unlocker say device is not bound to my account matching my assumptions - anyone know what's the best way to re-claim ownership? Especially when I can't get into ROM at all?

My comment was meant for OP but I hoped it would help you as well! I am personally not well informed about the Xiaomi / Redmi ownership situation when the seller unlocked the phone.. maybe you can contact them and get a corresponding password to the account, it has been the solution I have seen offered here. Maybe the emergency flash solution from Robbo.5000 works?
I just got this phone a week now and was only able to unlock and flash yesterday, I was aware of the ownership problem thanks to this forum so I bought the sealed CN version. Hope you figure it out!
Thanks guys. I am going for the Test Point solution - have made contact with the Russian tech the others did and made an appointment. I just have to pretend to be Jerry Rig before then and open her up! Fingers crossed!

Did you flash the global rom on an existing running Chinese rom or on an empty device (formatted)? Just for myself cuz I'm not sure whether to unlock and then unable to relock. Thanks.

PLEASE HELP!!
I just hard bricked my wife's new Redmi Note 10 Pro!
I bought the Chinese version and got the bootloader unlocked, and then tried to replace it with the global Rom from the official website.
In the process I kept receiving an error: "Mismatching Image and device error ".
I followed a couple of tutorials and this particular seem popular, where I had to delete some lines in the .bat file.
After that the flashing process started but halfway an error appeared again. After several attempts I decided to restart from Fastboot mode, and this was when I realized it had bricked.
Now I can't go to Fastboot mode and I keep getting Vibrations but a dead screen.
PLEASE HELP

Hello,
I don't know if this is right forum. If this is wrong forum, please suggest me the right one.
I have a Redmi Note 10 5G bought at China. There are all Chinese apps and No Google apps. I didn't like it so, decided to flash it into Global ROM. I have done this kind of thing many times before, but never in this device and never got this error. I downloaded the latest Global ROM which was MIUI 12.0.7.0. I extracted it and flashed using Xiaomi ADB and Fastboot tools. Everything was alright. When the device rebooted, I got:
dm-verity corruption.
Your device is corrupted.
It cannot be trusted and may not work properly.
Press power button to continue.
Or, your device will power off in 5s.
I pressed the power button and it got stuck on redmi logo forever.
Then i downloaded MIUI 12.0.6.0 Global. Then flashed it, got the same error? I tried all tricks on internet, nothing worked.
I thought Nothing is working, lets just install Chinese ROM and use it anyway. I flashed Chinese ROM and got the same error ! What is going on? What is problem?? I haven't locked bootloader
I am now hopeless. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Should I take to somewhere to repair, or there is a trick? Any answer will be thanked!

My PC:

You must have Minimal ADB and Fastboot installed in your PC.
After installing it, open it.
Write exactly the command line above.
Connect you phone via USB while is in FastBoot Mode*, with your PC.
* For FastBoot Mode on your phone, Turn OFF your phone.
Press VOL Down & Power Button for some secs together.
** Not sure if this is necessary ,but before doing all these, you have turned ON Developer Options on your phone. (search google how to enable Developer Options)
OEM Unlocking Checked & USB Debugging Checked.
Press Enter and you're done.
For me it worked!
- Enable Developer Options in your phone by tapping the "MIUI Version" 7 times in About Phone.
- Go to Settings > Additional Settings > Developer Options.
- Enable OEM Unlocking, USB Debugging.
- Also add account in Mi Unlock Status (Can be found in Developer Options).
- Install the required ADB and Fastboot drivers in your PC from here.
- Download Mi Unlock to PC from here, and sign in with your Mi Account.
- Shut down your phone manually, and hold volume down key and power button to enter Fastboot mode.
- Connect your phone to PC using USB cable and click "Unlock" in Mi Unlock Tool. ( disable firewall or allow internet connection for unlocker tool )
- wait for 168 hours
- unlock
- flash twrp
- flash ROM

Due to the lack of kernel source code, there is no official TWRP. Only unofficial builds available.
The included version of this post is already very outdated. The most current is 3.7.0, which allows the installation and decryption of A12, A12L and A13 ROMS at the cost of losing support for A11

After the 7 days (168 hrs), you started the process to unlock bootloader, you'll be able to do it, and after that you unlock the bootloader, the process does format data automatically. From all the numerous Xiaomi devices I owned, I never experienced those things; failed attempts nor loosing IMEI.

It seems, there is no custom ROMs for your device, you may stick to a GSI instead. This is from a quick (not extensive) search.
If I try to unlock bootloader again before the 7-day period ends, will it say how many hours I have left or re-start the counter?
EDIT: For anyone out there, it doesn't mess up the process.

If your bootloader was unlocked you can recover the device via fastboot.
If not you have the same situation as described here:

I tried wiping my data, but no success. I tried mi flash tool but no scucces. My bootloader is lock. I can boot into fastboot and recovery mode only. Safe mode also loop into logo only. can anyone tell how i can flash stable rom.

Interesting to see that several people are reporting bootloop after upgrading to MIUI 14.
My advice to anyone is to unlock the bootloader before upgrading to MIUI 14 to avoid having a brick, which you can't recover by your own by just flashing.

If your bootloader was unlocked you can recover the device via fastboot.

Excellent advice about "waiting" to first unlock and actually unlocking it before doing any upgrades.

Thank you.
But could you please explain what you mean with "waiting"?
I assume that you mean the seven days until Xiaomi grants you the possibility to unlock the bootloader, right?

Don't upgrade software until you first unlock bootloader.

I agree with regards to this device.
But usually it is not a problem.
With regards to this device I see from two other people that they are facing a bootloop when updating to MIUI 14.
I also did the update and my device ended up in a bootloop.
But I had unlocked the bootloader in advance and could recover the device by flashing.

Could you explain the nature of ur bootloop please... Does it just stay in the MI logo with the three loading dots underneath or does it reach lock screen occassionally?

Hi
Greetings, I am facing the same problem, after upgrade to miui14 the phone is in bootloop,
Explanation
1) The phone starts and enters menu(reboot, wipe data, connect with MI assistant, safe mode)
2) If i click reboot, it will reboot and reach to welcome screen and then it will ask me to activate the phone
Thats it
Then it restarts automatically
This process repeats untill battery drain
The phone is not unlocked
Advice .........

That is actually very easy. There is a tool. Mi_Unlock-en-5.5.224.24. you will need to- (a) go into fastboot mode(Switch on by pressing power+volume down) (b) Connect phone via USB Cable. Have the proper drivers installed. (c) Launch Mi Unlock tool and login into Mi Account. (d) refresh to search phone, select and press unlock. Takes a couple of seconds to unlock the bootloader.

Unlock the bootloader by following the solution described above .
Download and install MiFlashtool 2017.4.25.0.
Download a stable fastboot ROM suitable for your device and place the unzipped folder in the same folder as MiFlashtool C:\xiaomi\XiaoMiFlash
Boot device into fastboot mode and connect.
Flash the ROM. Just it.
