Hi,
Can anyone here tell me the fastest 2GB / 4GB MiniSD cards please?
(BTW - Not sure if 4GB exists in MiniSD format yet)
Also - a fairly dumb question - I think the answer is "No - of course it dosn't" but I'll ask anyway!
Does using a MiniSD adapter have an effect of read / write speed? As it's just an electrical connection I would assume it dosn't...
Cheers

Mini SD are slower than full size SD cards. Unless you are after a compatibilty thing with mobile phones, MMC+ cards would be a better bet for the Alpine as they seem more stable than SD cards.
Tecic do a 120x Mini SD 2gb - Google it.
Some alien language but here's a link - http://www.mml.com.tw/topicdetail.php?f=243&t=59595

Hi - thanks for the reply.
I thought of Mini-SD becuase some phones (C500 / C600) have Mini-SD slots...
I currently have a M1500 - full SD slot but would like to keep mini-SDs as you can put them in either device...
I'll have a look at the link now!

The spec sheet states a 64GB size limit on the external sd card, but has anyone tried a 128GB card? If a 64 works, I can't imagine a 128 wouldn't, but wanted to see if anyone can confirm this.
Thanks in advance.
It will work, but I'm not sure it will support exFAT. You can put in the card and see if the phone allows you to format it and use it.
If not, you'll have to format the card as FAT32, using a tool like Rufus. In which case you're limited to maximum file size of 4GB.
I know this is an old thread but for anyone interested I have a Sandisk 200gb installed and everything is working fine.
Anyone know the best kind of SD card to get I was reading and found there's different types and was wondering what the vivo xl is even capable of having I know tins said how much it can hold but was about like the type of speed can it use a UHS-II class?
Largest sd card in Blu Vivo XL+
I have a 200gb sd card in my Blu Vivo XL+ phone that works,
I tried a 400gb sd card but it wasn't working
Hi guys, I have Lenovo A7000 , it says it can only take 32gb SD card, but to be honest I want more storage xD , if I have unofficial rom can my mobile support higher? Like 64 or 128gb SD card?
The storage limit of the sd card depends on the device capability and hardware designed to the motherboard.
If you apply more than limit, it may work for a limited period of time but after that you will get the issue of Dead Memory card or Even sometimes damaged motherboard due to high load
PEACE OUT
I see, thanks
Im planning to get a high memory sd card for my p10 containing mostly music and movies, what do you guys think would be the best ideal sd card for my phone that will not make it slow and worse in performance? since i've read somewhere that adding sd card in the memory will somewhat slow the performance of the phone and will not be smooth as before.
theres only 500+MB left in my 64gb internal storage
Can't see how adding an SD card would slow it down but I've never had any issues with the Kingston MicroSD cards...
