[HELP]My p20 pro Auto restart 20s after boot - Huawei P20 Pro Questions & Answers

i have no idea wtf is going on i have alot of photo on it
do i really have to factory reset?

Would be helpful if you could tell us more about the configuration of the phone (ROM, rooted or unrooted/recovery).
This could just as well be something being caused by an app.
You can try to go into erecovery and update, this should not wipe your data.

Huawei P9 (EVA -L09) - How to restore photos after reset to factory settings? HELP

I used HiSuite to backup my data before reset to factory settings but for some reason it did not backup my pictures and I lost ALL of them including graduation pictures . :crying:
I tired numerous of Android data recovery software and non of them work. Dr. Fone Wondershare suggested rooting my phone. It has one-click rooting options and I am not sure how secure it is. I'm afraid that the failure of rooting will turn my phone into a brick. I am totally new to this era and will love some guidance!

Mate 10 ALP-L09 front camera issues?

Hi there everyone, long story short, I have a unlocked/rooted Mate 10 yesterday I realize that the front camera bokeh feature completely broke my photos, they just keep "loading..." and in the gallery the pic is just a broken gray square... Anyone is having the same issue?
Will appreciate any help!
I've already tried:
Reset default settings
Phone factory reset
Thanks!
cause you rooted , need reset setting then reboot

systems > reset > reset all settings then reboot the phone , do not turn on artistic bokeh mode again
or you can upgrade fw to disable root . I found out that i dont really need root anymore

You should be able to just flash back stock RAMDISK.
Hello, I have the same issue, front cam just says loading when picture is taken. I am rooted as well. Were you able to resolve this?
I am on Mate 10 Pro
me too
yup me too, but with rear camera. Think .jpeg files are corrupted. Bought phone new from Vodafone 2 weeks ago. Not rooted. Did x2 full hard resets and it recurred. Vodafone did a "like for like" replacement on assumption it was due to faulty internal memory. (Its seems like the sort of thing that would happen if there was an SD care and the SD card was kaput). Hope prob doesnt come back. If does then suggests it wasnt a handset / hardware problem for me but rather a more general software issue ...

Huawei Mate 20 lite can not Factory Reset

Hello everyone , i have the "pleasure" to see a problem what never seen and nobody posted on any site. My huawei mate 20 lite cannot be factory reseted , The factory reset buton inactive in settings and recovery mode too. I have tried to flash with many update.app from sdcard/dload/updateapp but always error. Please somebody help me. Thank you
If you are part of a domain that can be the reason. But since you tinkered with your phone I guess that's not the case. You cannot use huawei pc software to reset or recover your phone. But on your phone there is scroll restriction. On the reset screen it gives a summery of what will happen if you continue and you have to scroll down to very bottom in order for the button to become active. Certain certificates installed on a device can restrict some features but I have never seen any that stops you from resetting your device. Sorry if this isn't helpful.

Xiaomi K20 Pro Stuck in a Bootloop after MIUI 12 Update

Has anyone experienced something like this? It’s happening on my Xiaomi K20 Pro after I just updated it to MIUI 12 directly from the settings app
here's a video: youtu.be/ Mv-Qbgb0rR8 (I don't know where else to post this video, but I'm not allowed to post links)
Just in case the video wasn’t very clear, basically when I try to boot everything seems to boot fine to the lock screen, but if I try to unlock the phone with my pin it will just go back to the boot screen again, if I click on the emergency button it also does the same thing and if I just wait a little bit the same thing happens too.
It kinda reminds me of that wallpaper bug that bricked people’s phones, but I didn’t have any problems in MIUI 11 and my wallpaper is from the Google wallpaper app so I don’t expect that to be the problem.
I think it might be because my phone is running the international/global Rom instead of the original rom? I bought this phone used, and the software is saying that its a Mi 9T Pro instead of K20 Pro.
Can someone help me solve this? Or would I need to just factory reset? The phone is also already unlocked, so I was able to back everything up via a custom recovery, but reinstalling and setting everything back up again is just going to take a while, so maybe someone can help?
Maybe I could do something from the custom recovery (currently using orangefox recovery) to save this? I really don't want to factory reset
yes i am facing the same issue
At this point I wouldn't hold much hope on avoiding a clean install.
If you can access the data OK in TWRP/OF, I would suggest backing up your personal data, then try the following.
Dirty flash the MIUI 12 recovery ROM again.
If that fails, clean flash the MIUI 12 recovery ROM.
If that fails, clean flash the MIUI 12 fastboot ROM.
Personally myself, I would go straight to flashing the fastboot ROM, as it's the option almost guaranteed to work.
You can also try to factory reset your phone. Do you have TWRP?
