Hi guys,
I hope someone can help!.
I have my Suzuki s cross connected to my second phone (Huawei Y6) via USB. This phone only have a data Sim, and no call options.
Furthermore I have my primary phone (Huawei P20) connected to the cars bluetooth system and when I disconnect the USB phone, I can easily make and receive calls.
But when the USB phone is connected and Android Auto is turned on, its not possible to make calls as android auto takes over.
Do you have any suggestions on how I can use my data phone to navigation through Android Auto, but still be able to make calls from my primary phone through the cars bluetooth connection.?
Looking forward to hear from you

Great, can you explain in detail how you did it on second rooted phone... upon uncompressed, I see, There are many Bluetooth folders in rom, which one to choose?
Is it permanent change? I mean if we flash original rom, we can get back Bluetooth??
What about AA, it will not work if no Bluetooth integration.. correct??

Hi. Sorry for late.
1- You must choose a custom rom for your "second phone"
2- Now You have a Custom rom in .zip file
3- Open zip file (i use winrar) and then go in "system\app" and then delete "bluetooth" folder
4- Save and flash new rom (I suggest You to do a nandroid backup before)
Now your second phone don't have bluetooth but all other work.
I set that when my "primary phone" are connected to car with bluetooth, automatically, start wifi hotspot and "second phone", when take charge (turned on car) exit to airplane mode. It's perfect.

Hi. I use Prometheus lite for Samsung j530f because i like developer work.
But You can made the same for every roms.
Then, with a Application like automate or tasker you can set the automatic on/off of Hotspot end other things

Thank you. I have an idea that might work which would bypass AA altogether but first I must update the firmware on my Citroen C4 Grand Picasso.
I have failed to connect both phones ( Galaxy A7 2015 - aa) and (Note 9 - SMS and calls) . I disabled via root all bluetooth services on the A7 but as soon as AA launches ,Note 9 disconnects from the car. Mac spoofing does not work either.
Any solutions yet ?
Same problem, is there an app that cancels bluetooth?
I can now use bluetooth on my second phone connected to the Service Disabler app. Root Required.

u must enable the Setting >> Connection >> Beam >> Recieve All Incoming Beam if u want to recieve/send file natively.
note: enable this also enable you to send file from builtin filemanager (Beam file, and choose bt)
but, I suggest u to unmark it if u dont send/recieve file frequently, cos it will effect battery life.
okay now I understand
thanks a lot

First I Edited All of my contacts via Kies And Saved It On The Phone And On PC As *.scv File.
*When Im Importing The File to Gmail Most Contacts Are Shown On the phone without the phone number.
*Ive Tried To Create A New File Via Excel Using The Following Headliners:
First Name Last Name Phone Number 1 Mobile Number And nothing ive tried didnt work.
Contacts Are Agian Shown Without Numbers Or Numbers Show In "Notes" And Its Not Possible To Call.
*Ive Tried Also To Mark Only The "Phone Cotacts" And Export It To SD Card, But Its Making Me a File with 1453Contacts (I have only 180 On My Original List, Only 10% Of them has 2Numbers Or More.) (i have on my phone display total of 180contacts and my sim has 330contacts but its not marked.)
And Than When I Reload The File From SD Card To Gmail Trough The Phone, It Gives Me Many DOUBLES, Missing Numbers Etc...
Ive Been Tring To Do That All Day Long And Just Cant Find The Solution.
Can Anyone Help Me?! Please :]
Thank You Very Much Guys
Try this http://www.fjsoft.at/en/ (It's free) and use kies only for rom updating (only thing it can do properly )
Enjoy.
Even I am in need of managing my contacts & wondering what work flow should I adopt so all gets sync with phone & gmail., I tried MyPhoneExplorer its a good software I tried connecting my samsung galaxy I9003 but it doesn't work as yet with this new model, though it supports I9000.
Kies I find useless except the samsung official stuff updating,

uninstall/reinstall the phone/modem driver or MyphoneExplorer?
I wish it connects with I9003, but it says "connection to phone could not be established, no device attached to usb".
I am connecting the phone to LCD monitor usb hub not to the rear usb ports, could that be an issue?

The software work as a client side (app on your sgs) / server side (app on your PC), in order to comunicate and synchronize, so when you install PhoneExplorer on your PC it install an APP on your SGS. Just uninstall/reinstall it on your PC and it'll push it automaticaly on your phone.
Oh I didn't connect the phone while I installed the MyPhoneExplorer that could be the reason.
Let me try this.

Make sure the debug mode is checked too (Settings -> applications -> devlopment -> USB Debuging)
Ok Thanks that finally solved the problem.
(it created few more problems while installing & showed a failed driver) but it took some time over 5-7 mins to initialize the modem & then showed it connected.
My phone explorer is great in terms of feature you can dial via computer receive calls via computer, send & receve sms via computer, edit/add contacts much better to do on computer than on small keyboard.

Make sure kies is not running in background process and try it with the stock USB cable directly connected on the PC (maybe a hub issue).
Ok all problem solved now,
do I need to switch off debugg usb settings again when I need kies, its not connecting with kies now or is that background service of kies (which I killed) is mandatory to connect with kies?

So I somewhat got Wiiremote support on the Vivid. I extracted the Bluetooth.apk from a Cyanogenmod rom.
1.) you need to have a odexed rom (I used rumraider b3)
2.) install the attached file by putting it in /System/app (i put it on my sd card and used root explorer)
3.) install Bluez IME and the HID addon (google it )
4.) follow the IME's instuctions and select Wiimote (HID) for the device.
known problems:
lights continue to blink, it's connected and won't turn off but the lights blink instead of show the 1
use at your own risk, this worked for me, no one else has tested it. Let me know how it works for you
Sry if this is off topic ,will this work for ps3axis controller

i'm not sure you can try? i don't see why it wouldn't.
The HTC Sense bluetooth apk is the "roadblock" for pairing the remotes. swapping it out should solve problems for all the pairing problems.
You know, I never would have thought of trying this on my own. I've got a bluetooth device that won't sync properly with anything stock on the vivid but I had GB ROM that I think used the telstra bluetooth stack that worked perfectly. Since going to ICS it had stopped working again but after reading this post I decided to pull the Bluetooth.apk off that old ROM and it works perfectly again.
Thanks for the tip.
Is this possible on the new stock ATT ICS rom? How can I backup or get the original installer for bluetooth on this rom? Thank you.

You can use a file browsing app like Root Explorer.
The Bluetooth.apk will be in system/apps. Mount system to R/W
move the original file to your sdcard somewhere.
And take the one posted in op's post up above.
And paste and install it in system/apps.
You need root permissions to do this though. Good luck.

It looked like I was able to just open the apk file posted and install it. Do you think this is possible? I didn't want to screw up my phone if I didn't have the original to replace it. Thanks.

it has to be put in the system apps folder because that's where the phone looks for the bluetooth support. also it needs some elevated permissions and isn't made to comply with superuser.
you can make a backup just in case
Had it sync fine the first time I tried it, and then my dad called and my screen off profile was too low so my phone restarted lol. Now I can't get it to sync again! When I Activate Bluetooth with Bluez IME selected I get a "pairing request," and if I choose it from the notification menu it says to enter a PIN on the phone and device (which I can't because you can't enter a PIN on the wiimote, plus the IME isn't touch input anymore).
My steps:
Activate Bluetooth
Scan for devices - Nintendo RVL-CNT-01
Select Device Driver - Wiimote (HID)
Select IME - Bluez IME
Anddd the wiimote just times out. Any insight?
try uninstalling the apk that you installed via installer (not dropping in system/app) if you haven't already
then maybe try reinstalling bluez IME?
i wish i could be more help!
Keep getting a "Disconnected: Software Interference" Are there limitations on a per-app basis as far as functionality is concerned?
hi,
GPS does not work on my I9070, when activated gps, not even the icon appears on the top bar.
Using the CW 10.2 to about 8 months, I have never used the GPS and then I never realized until now that did not work.
Today I put the CW 11 but the problem persists, it looks like a driver issue.
Can you help?

Speeding up GPS/AGPS
One of the main reasons to root an Android phone is to speed up the GPS lock. This happens by changing some text in a file called gps.conf in /etc/ or /system/etc/.
1. Get a file explorer with root support (root explorer, ES file explorer is good too). You'll have to replace your gps.conf with a new, tweaked one.
2. Go "app.box.com/s/w57s1v1n3hie7l5lk28i", pick your country, and download the file inside the folder. If you didn't find your country, pick the country that is the closest to yours.
3. Put it on your sdcard.
4. Open up your root explorer.
5. Copy the file.
6. Go to /system/etc/.
7. Mount system as R/W.
8. Paste the file, and overwrite it with the old one.
9. Now change it's permissions to rw-r--r-- by holding on it, and clicking permissions. Change both owners to 0-root.
The main purpose of the test is to make Android learn the new gps.conf file. This happens by using an app that controls GPS and AGPS.
1. Download GPS test from Google Play Store, and install it.
2. Open it, go to menu-settings, and press clear AGPS (OPTIONAL: reboot).
3. After clearing AGPS, and while connected to the internet, press Update GPS.
4. You'll get a GPS lock in about 5 seconds
5. Leave the GPS locked for about 10 minutes for Android to learn how it works. This method will get you a lock in 5-15 seconds with or without internet connection.
I am on CM10.1 and GPS works ( even somewhat better than it did on stock 4.1.2).
When I install a new application, Privacy Guard blocks by default GPS access for it.
Don't know if this a default setting or not, but this could be your problem.
Check your Privacy Guard settings...
Hi Guys,
So right now Im using CarbonRom with android version 4.4.4 on 9070P, but since its unstable and freezes a lot, I would like to return on more stable version of Jelly Bean (4.3 maybe?!). Is there a guide how is this possible?
All I see are guides from reverting Jelly Bean to Gingerbread...
Thanks :good:

Just flash stock rom (JB) with odin.
But don't forget to backup your data and do a nandroid backup (just in case ... )
Thanks for answering!
So the correct process would be Carbon Kitkat->stock rom 4.1.2->new rom (cyanogenmod 10.1 for example).
So I cannot skip the original rom part?

Almost perfect,

Almost everything works except SD card! With this app https:// play.google. com/store/apps/details?id=in.zatta.USB_switch I managed to connect to the computer, but im unable to access external storage from phone, "Storage" menu crashes to home screen, file explorer doesent detect sdcard and gallery says no external card. All else seems o.k. How can I fix this?
I add that apps install fine to SDcard, usb storage works no problem as well, mounting manually in terminal game me no permission flags.

You tried to enable usb debugging in Settings > Developer options ? If developer options doesn't show up, go to Settings > About phone and tap build number fast 10 times. Enable usb debugging and try to connect to computer without that app. You can change between MTP or others in notification bar (if you get notificatiom when you connect phone) or by going to Settings > Storage and press menu button and choose usb storage mode.
Also, did you try to put off sdcard and put it on again?
OK, not so perfect after all:
NO Call audio- I cant hear other persons, they cant hear me. Phone rings as usual.
Only reference I found was this- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49452037&postcount=3697
but links are dead.
Yes, I tried your suggested method, and it connects to PC w/o that app OK. I can mount/unmount SDcard no problems, also another file explorer shows SDcard contents without a hitch, lets me install apps and play files from it, but STORAGE menu from settings is still off limits, even is no SDcard is present in the phone- results in crash to home screen.
I guess thanks to new root explorer, gallery works, so I guess I could manage without that menu as well.

I downloaded random dialer from google play "truedialer" I think, and all it changed, was the interface, i did setup this as the main dialer, but calls were still made using old dialer and hence no change.
