Hello Community!
To use Google camera with HDR+ support for Lenovo P2, You can achieve it in two methods:
1) Build.prop method:
Go to build.prop and add the following line without quotes
"persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1".
OR
2) Magisk module :
Either flash through twrp or add through magisk manager. File is in Attachments.
Then install google camera app. https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962021903579488245

I have the same issue. It shows that HDR+ / Enhanced is enabled but it doesn't seem to do anything.
I've tried at least 5 different camera mods and tried every setting, never once I noticed it actually used HDR +

You'll need a 64 bit ROM. But there's no 64 bit Nougat ROM. Only Oreo. Then you can install the camera apk like a normal app.

I have installed modded Camera NX on CrDroid 8.1 x64 and portrait mode works although it has some focusing issues (need to switch to normal camera and back to portrait mode to regain focus).

Pixel 2 Camera Working with all features
Hi friends,
I finally found a combination of ROM and working Pixel 2 camera with no focus issue and with portrait mode, HDR+ working on both cameras on my Moto G5 Plus. I am using official latest Oreo Resurrection Remix Rom and this Pixel 2 camera apk from arnova https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/GoogleCamera-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V6.apk .
Only that combination is working for me. I did not changed any setting in camera, everything pre-set and no need to do anything like turning on or off camera-2 api. I hope this will help you all.
Best of Luck:good:

You should use Oreo based ROM, I am using Resurrection Remix ROM, and install it as a normal apk.
Hi P1/P1 Turbo Users [if there are any left] , I was looking for a Google camera which works on our Device from a while and i found this GCam working on our device.
I have tested it on Custom Roms and it is working on All Nougat based custom. Everything is working in this Camera
Link :- https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nSs15soCswW72gBFIB-slb9WYFQ17MA2/view?usp=drivesdk
Installation :- Just install it as a normal apk, It doesn't need any type of build.prop edits to work
If this worked for you Don't forget to click that thumbs up :good: button

This is not my work, this mod is made by @xpirt for LG G6, I merely tested this on my V30+ H930DS model and it worked just fine, so refer to this post to give him thanks.
if you want to test it you must do it at your own risk , I'm not a developer so I won't be able to help, I just want to share it so others people can use it.
Instructions
just copy LGInCallUI.apk attached below to system / priv app / LGInCallUI and replace with it with the one that's already there then change the permission to 0644 or rw-r--r-- you can use root explorer or other file manager that you prefer.
then reboot
now it should work
TO TURN ON AUTO-RECORD go HERE
It is working on stock Oreo 8.0 20B, LG V30 model H930, H930DS , also working on V20 thanks to @sheik124 testing.
Thanks to @ChazzMatt for his great help
Thanks to all users for testing

No, becuase there is no beeping sound so they can't detect.
Working fine on LG V20 H990DS Oreo.
Thank you.
I can confirm that this is working on the H918 (Tmobile variant lg v20) currently running the Alpha Oreo rom with the Mk2000 kernel. Just replace the apk and, wipe both caches, reboot and enjoy. Thanks to Bronnel for his testing and, for giving me the idea to test. Also thanks to Xpirt for this much needed app.
Works fine on the U998. Thanks.
