bootloader-no Xperia Z3 + Dual E6533 - Xperia Z4/Z3+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I personally took a Xperia Z3 + Dual E6533 I updated to 7.1.1, so I did not like it because it was very quick to unload the battery, then I tried to install a custom in it, I went to do the bootloader process in the configuration of the device say no and allowed bootloader, how can I solve this takes the bootloader-no, to bootloader-yes do I have to do downgrader or is it even impossible? I'll be stuck forever in the sony rom stock?:chorando::chorando::chorando:

1- In order to downgrade to Sony's stock rom you don't need to unlock your bootloader. All you need is a firmware of your choice, which comes in form of an ftf file, and flashtool. Plenty of guides on the Internet and xda about that.
2- If you insist on unlocking your bootloader and you are aware that it will permanently and irreversibly erases your phone's drm keys, you should disable myxperia and any other taking app you may have on your phone first. Then likely the status will change from no to yes.

[Q] XPERIA Z messed up after unlocking bootloader

Hello guys.
I got my hands on my SONY XPERIA Z 2 weeks ago. Then I updated it to the Jelly Bean 4.2.2 immediately.
3 days ago, I got the 2.67 update. Next up, I decided to root my device. So I googled "XPERIA Z C6602 10.3.A.2.67 root".
I don't know what the number was, but the last 4 digits were 2.67, the latest update actually.
In time, I noticed that I had to unlock the boot loader first.
So I d/l'ed the Minimal Fastboot & Adb from the XDA and had gotten my Key through the SONY UNLOCK BOOTLOADER service.
I ran the minimal fastboot & adb then unlocked the phone. I ended up a data-wiped XZ after the operation as the 13-page application menu had gone and a 3-page one remained from stock XZ Jelly Bean firmware. That was normal actually, but the thing is that I ran the UBL operation on my smartphone solely to ensure that I have a BL unlocked smarty.
What I got after the second time unlocking was, um, SONY & XPERIA splash screen and then multiple reboots. Thus, I did some googling and noticed how to switch off the unit, using VOL+ & Power method. Now every time I boot it up, it keeps rebooting over & over.
As you all know, I cannot update/repair it through SUS or PC Companion as it's BL unlocked & EMMA is unavailable in my area.
I couldn't find a 4.2.2 C6602 Stock FTF but a 4.1.2 FTF to use with my XZ. I have to use Androxyde Flashtool.
Will this kind of downgrade kill my BLU'ed smartphone or can anyone help me out uploading the C6602 4.2.2 Global Generic FTF stock firmware or a link? Are there any other ways to relieve my phone?
Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.
Additionaly, I've seen guys having the same problem because of other reasons, say, turning Airplane mode on.

i know it's too late, but you don't need to have an unlocked BL to get root. And i hope you did a TA-backup, so that your drm keys aren't lost forever.
Downgrading won't harm your device.

[Q] Xperia Z1 Root (Warranty)

Hello developers, I am considering to root my new Xperia Z1, but I don't want to unlock the boot loader. I was just wondering if I use vroot to root the Z1 but without unlocking the boot loader, will it avoid my Sony original warranty? Thanks. My firmware is 14.1.G.2.257

Well it may or it may not. You can just easily reflash stock firmware and root will be gone anyway. Done it once and they never suspected anything

In almost all cases you can restore your phone back to it's original state so they will never know, in the case when your phone is so bad that you can't restore it back with PC Companion or flashtool then you are still good because the service place will not be able to tell either, because your phone will not be booting at all .

[Q] Z1 c903 Bootloader locking. Help!

Hello all! Im new in xda forum, so i will be greatefull if you help me with my Sony Z1 phone. I have Z1 c903 on android 5.0.2., and I was mad on sony becouse they didnt make update to 5.1, so i was looking on forum how to root and install some custom rom and make my phone updated. So i find on some thread that i should unlock bootloader, and i followed instructions and unlocked it, but without making some backup or anything else. oh dear, you lost your drm keys.... thats not good....all sony own camera features (bionz, noise reduction...) are lost now. So without your drm keys, you dont get an advantage of locking bl again. SImply flash official sony 5.1.1 and here you are
Tutorial?

How to root Z3+ single SIM

Hello,
I find the rooting thing very confusing.
I have a locked bootloader, is there any way to root my device without unlocking the bootloader? (for example with oneclickroot)
If I unlock the bootloader, what functionality do I lose?
If I understand it clearly, I need to unlock the bootloader, then fastboot the TWRP recovery and then within the recovery I can flash the supersu.zip package?
Also, do I need a kernel with the Sony security disabled if I just want to root the stock ROM? (SONY RIC, SELinux)
I hope someone can clear these things up for me....
Thanks in advance.
By unlocking BL you lose X-reality,Bionz and some sound fuctions if I'm not mistaken but I think there is a way to restore them

I unlocked my BL long time ago just because I needed root, I wanted so bad because I need to install cerberus antithief app and some other features.
Then noticed that camera was so slow, video is so lag, so better don't use it and record videos, somethimes color has a lot of contrastbut automatically goes normal, in sound quality and calls I really didn't notice anything bad.
Now that I upgrade to the last firmware, ther is no safe way to root it again, untill now I think I should never unlock my BL...
I have the dual version E6533.
With galaxy and htc I could play around with Sony z3 and plus no root without sacrifying basic functionality... Next phone will be a galaxy s7 or iPhone 7... If possible both... Galaxy for sports iPhone for business and non sports
Basically, there's no way to root any Xperia devices since the Z3+ generation with BL locked. Beacuse Sony update their BL so that you can't replace the kernel even if you rooted the system.

As you're still using a stock based rom, open the dialer and type *#*#7378423#*#*
This will open the service menu, check under general service info (if I remember correctly). You'll find there whether or not your bootloader is unlocked.
Download flashtool by androxyde and the rom you want to flash (you'll find it here on the forum) and flash it via flashtool.
If your bootloader is unlocked, lock it with flashtool (though it won't make any difference as I'm pretty sure you didn't back up your DRM keys)

by installing stock rom i meant to say android 5.1.1 firmware..
and in that service menu it says
bootloader unlocked allowed:yes..
so does it means i have alrady unlocked or it is locked and unlocking is allowed?

It means your bootloader is unlockable, but currently locked. You do still have your TA partition and DRM keys. To install stock 5.1.1 you can also use sony pc companion, it should be the easiest way. All your current data might be lost, though
