Stock Oxygen display crispier than custom ROM - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

I feel like stock Oxygen display is crispier sharper than any custom ROM. It's better backlit controlled, it's generally more sharper.
I've tried AOSP, lineage and GZOSP based ROMs.
Is it just me or is there really any difference?

Could be OnePlus uses different calibration settings. You can edit these settings in custom roms though.

[Q] Glow Overscroll effect on a Sense-based rom?

Hi,
I just recently bought a HTC One Developer Edition. I hope to continue using a Sense 5 based rom because of features like Zoe and Infrared remote. However, I really miss the blue glow overscroll effect in AOSP. Is there a Sense 5 based rom that brings this effect back? Even better, is it possible for me to modify the stock rom myself to have this effect? Perhaps some settings file somewhere that I can edit with root access? Thank you so much!

[Q] [REQ] HTC One GE 4.3 Mods

After playing around with tons of Sense, AOSP/CM-based, and Google Edition ROMs, I find they all have things I like, but haven't found my "dream ROM" just yet.. Carbon is probably the closest, but the 4.3 nightlies are way too buggy, and they are having problems with their M7 builds lately..
Regardless, I think the 4.3 Google Edition ROMs are the most stable, and would be the perfect base if I could just get these mods integrated into it, if it is even possible..
Better Battery icons, like Brick or Speedometer
HALO
MIUI 1-px battery bar on the top pixel of the display
Full APM (Advanced Power Menu), with Reboot into Recovery & Bootloader
CyanogenMod 10.2 SMS app with Emoji Support
More statusbar toggles, and the ability to select which ones I want
IR-blaster support
I know I am basically describing Carbon, but I'm afraid it's going to be a while before they iron out the bugs.. And even on the 4.2.2 builds of Carbon, AOSP, and CM, the audio was always much lower then Sense or GE based ROMs with Beats enabled. I always thought Beats was BS, but the difference in audio on Sense/GE and other ROMs on my M7UL is incredible.
I don't mind installing each thing as a separate mod, but I am not a big fan of Xposed, so I'd prefer to avoid it if possible.
I guess the main mods would be the battery icons, and a full APM. Is there a list somewhere of all the GE 4.3 mods available?
Thanks, and sorry for the wall-o-text!

is there a way to blackout or invert the white gui?

ever since Lollipop the gui has been more bright, and in some cases parts of the gui that used to be black are now stark white. As some know, oled does not use any power when black is on the display, but white is the complete opposite and drains the battery.
I'm just curious if there anything that can be done to invert all the white colors of the gui? an app or something?
I think CM has some custom black themes, but I'm hoping for a solution not related to a specific rom.
I'm using "dark material" which should match with most of your wishes.
But you have to run a CM12 based ROM to use custom themes (I prefer NX ROM on my XT1052)

thanks, but not exactly what I have been looking for. I don't want to rely on a specific rom, b/c then I would be limited to that rom for this feature. But yes, there are a few CM themes that would perform this function

sRGB colour profile for custom ROMs.

Is there a way to implement sRGB colour profile found on MIUI rom in custom ROMs?
Colour are still not accurate to sRGB even if you set display color to natural. I'm currently on Evolution X rom.
Yes, it would be great! I'm in the same Custom ROM...
Glad to see someone who appreciates accuracy over vibrancy.
Anyway, tried calibrating to sRGB by sight. My friend has stock K20. The colors are not accurate if you only adjust RGB values but there's no other way that I know of. Also reduce saturation by 15-20%.
Anyone wants to share their sRGB settings?

ROM that is like Stock Android or better ROM

Hi,
Well I like the Official Miui rom but some functions I loved got removed by xiaomi so I finally want to break out.
I want to actually use the Notification Logs that came with Android 11 (don't know why xiaomi removed it) and I miss the option to set the priority of notifications. I used this one a lot because I had some notifications I wanted to see when I pull down the bar, but I don't need to see the icon all the time.
Also more customization would be nice...
So I'm asking you here, wich ROM comes the closest to a stock android experience or wich ROM is the 'best' one.
Thank you and have a nice day!

there's Pixel Experience which are the same as Pixel phones, HentaiOS which are heavily tuned for great user experience, or Evox if you want more customization than barebone. LineageOS are similar to AOSP. There's so many ROMs to try, really.
