I am on the stock, rooted rom. I just got the OTA. But I need to flash reflash the stock recovery since I am rooted and on TWRP. But I can't seem to get USB debugging to work. I've tried rebooting both my PC and my phone, different ports, tried enabling and disable USB debugging in developer options, even tried resetting to default settings. But adb devices still shows blank on my PC. Any idea what is the issue? I usually got a pop up to show that ADB is being requested and I will have to agree to it but I cant seem to get that popup now.

I had similar problem before. Try this, with no Connection to PC, revoke usb debug authorisations, and restored default in deverloper option, setbupn USB debug again then connect to PC . if that don't work , try rebooting pc

Hey..
Could you please elaborate your issue a bit? Have you enabled USB debugging? What happens when you run adb devices on your computer?

no one to help me :'(
Check any antivirus is not blocking anything
Please run a command window from adb and run this
Code:
adb devices
Make sure you do not have any other adb devices running (Bluestacks etc)
Try a differetnt PC to check if its the phone or PC
Hi
I just installed a custom lolipop 5.02 using cyanogenmod CM 12 using ODIN to my galaxy s3 mini. and everything went will
after that i tried to connect my s3 to my PC it installs the drivers and it appears in the Device Manager but it does not appear in my computer and it wont connect to kies.
I tried to enable Debugging mode and the same, i tried to change the connection type,
i went to *settings* then *storage* the from the menu i chose *USB computer connection*, once i chose PTP or MTP it gives me this error "unfortunately, settings has stopped".
It is MTP checked by default although.
this happens even without debugging enabled.
How can i get my device connects to my PC? i need to transfer data.
Thanks

Only if you have TWRP 2.8.0.0 or higher :
1. Boot to TWRP recovery
2. Navigate to "Mount" and enable "enable MTP"
3. Connect your device to your PC
Now you can transfer files between your phone and PC

I had a similar thing happen to me after an update and was forced to do a factory restore. That's why it's always good to save stuff to your removable storage; makes it much easier to transfer/salvage data when something goes wrong.
Hi,
I am trying to enable casting with 3rd party apps on my adt-1. However, first I have to figure out how to connect it with adb. I lost the developer cable, and have been trying to debug wirelessly. Developer mode is enabled, and usb debugging is enabled.
I have tried rebooting the device into fastboot, and just normally start it, but nothing works.
I have tried "adb connect 10.1.1.67:4321" and "adb connect 10.1.1.67", but they always say unable to connect.
Is there somewhere I can buy a dev cable, or just get wireless debugging working?

Google disabled ADB over wifi in the latest update.. If you re-enable it like with terminal emulator and USB keyboard you should be ok. I'll try to post how-to later. I think its in the build.prop
If anyone is still working with this device (I plan to attempt to build LOS 15.1 soon), I just got mine without a developer cable. I'm not sure what command death2all110 is referring to in a terminal but what I did was transfer over a chinese root apk, root it with a USB mouse (sideways) and install TWRP with dd. Note mine came bootloader unlocked, I don't know if they all come that way or if the previous owner did.
(Extra sidenote: Developer cable/charing port appears to be EC U6 but I haven't tested the pinout.)
fyi, they were bootloader unlocked from the factory. pin-out for the connector has been found. check out the adt-1 dev community on g+ for more detail.
I also lost my developer cable and bricked the device recently. The EC U6 cable is nir working, as there is no external power and dosent power on. Anyway anyone can help?.
Not had this before,
I just switched to 5.1 GPE via the conversion option.
Everything went smoothly, device works well. However now I cannot get the phone connected through adb. It says "device offline".
I have tried killing the adb server and restarting it, made sure adb debugging is on. Restarted device, laptop, tried removing and reinstalling drivers. Tried plugging into a different usb port.
As always, when I run an adb command it shows the device as offline.
I cannot get it to flash up the RSA when connecting either which I think may be the problem.
Anyone had this?
Thanks.

What is your adb version?
Code:
adb version
I've done a lot of googling so far, and I haven't seen anyone having this problem yet.
This phone is not yet rooted, and is still running the stock rom and recovery. I haven't been able to get to first base and unlock the bootloader with it because once I boot into Odin/download/fastboot mode, ADB can't see the device anymore.
Although I can turn USB debugging on and verify that ADB can see and list my device, if I reboot, and return to my Developer options menu, it will not still be checked. The problem, I believe, that's creating is that rebooting into Odin mode means that ADB can no longer see my device, because USB debugging has already been turned off. I don't think an app is doing this, because booting into safe mode, turning on USB debugging, and then rebooting into safemode again yields the same result: USB debugging has still been turned off. From the command prompt issuing "adb reboot fastboot" just yields a reboot back to the normal home screen.
EDIT: Upon further inquiry, do I even need USB debugging to get TWRP installed? According to:
http://www.cyanogenmods.org/forums/topic/install-twrp-recovery-samsung-android-using-odin/
they make no mention of USB debugging, only OEM Unlock which does not appear in the Developer Options for my phone...
