I confused about DRM status if DRM fix is working. Here is my screen shot about security test, this mean my DRM was fix or not?
And my bootloader status after UBL now is "unlock status allowed : no"
Take a picture with the camera. If the image is all green, the DRM fix did NOT work - if image is ok, then fix is ok.

What you want actually, it Doesn't mean anything "can we unlock the boot loader to fix BE" .
Unlocking the boot loader will erase your DRM keys in TA partition so you will loose your BE 2 for album forever unless you back up your TA partition before unlocking the boot loader.

Correct. There is a tutorial to backup these need to search give me a sec.
Edit: Read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292598
And I found a way to keep the BE2 working after the bootloader unlock, although its just a temporary fix and NO REPLACEMENT for a proper trim area backup, as DRM keys are not replaceable.

I've never done it. On my galaxy S plus it was just changing recovery and happy flashing xD
Hi I just unlocked bootloader on phone by this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2354721 . As I read after the unlocking I should lost DRM keys and because of loss of the DRM keys the services as a Bravia Engine 2 ,TrackID and such Sony stuff shouldnt work. However after the unlock it seems these services still works. In configuration it says "bootloader unlocked: yes"
If the unlocking was succesful ,shouldnt be the box of Bravia Engine 2 in the settings be grayed out and unresponsible? How can I be sure if its unlocked? I dont want to mess my phone when I flash a new ROM on it.

You looked in the Service menu (*#*#7378423#*#*) that means it is unlocked. Box with bravia engine 2 shall function like before, there is just no effect. If confoguration sais that the bootloader is unlocked it IS unlocked! the Sony stuff only doesn't work if you didn't root before unlocking the bootloader

Hey all,
I just bought a used Z3+ and was wondering if someone could look at the following screenshot and tell me if my DRM keys are 100% intact and my bootloader has never been unlocked. I'm having a hard time figuring it out because after the first three, all other screenshots I've found have more [Key Ok] [Active] things than mine does. but, they are also for other phones. I'm used to phones without DRM, so I want to make sure I've got everything as intended. Can anyone compare to their Z3+ who may have never unlocked it and see what they think?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
i am 100% sure your DRM key is working
Right now z3+ don't has ROOT without unlock Boot loader
That mean it can't backup TA partition and can't restore DRM key
So this phone NEVER unlock Boot loader.

Got unlocked bootloader without possible root (5.0.2 28.0.A.8.266 firmware E6533 (z3+ Dual)). Used flashtool before unlock and saved S1 Dump in Advanced menu. Is it possible to get DRM keys from S1 Dump and restore bootloader lock?
Or my DRM keys now lost... ?
Hi,
I have taken screen shots of DRM Keys before Bootloader unlock and after TA Partition backup & Restore, there is small difference between both the screen shots.
In after Restore of TA Partition, it says as
"FIDO_KEYS : Not Provisioned
Factory Reset Reason: No devise reset information"
can anyone explain what is this please ??
I am attaching both the screen shots and now I restored TA Partition and relocked bootloader.
dont know but worth noting

Please delete this thread. I have posted it in "Iovyroot" thread
Hello Prashad,, did you find any solution for that
? My z3+ is non rooted and I never unlocked bootloader... And my status shows just like the second pic that you have uploaded.
From the title: I'm kindly requesting to check DRM status (DRM Info app here) after unlocking bootloader and after relocking the bootloader.
If possible with a screenshot otherwise I'm interested in knowing if Widevide DRM Level goes back to L1 after relocking and how System ID changes with L3 and L1.
Furthermore t's useful knowing if you also flashed a custom rom and/or blew Knox Fuse in some other way.
Disclaimer: do not unlock your bootloader just to do this check. This request is meant for people who already have bootloader unlocked by their own means.
There is a screenshot example attached to this thread, stock locked A71 never before unlocked.
You keep your DRM keys when unlocking bootloader on A71, so Widevine stays at L1.
No TWRP installed, only magisk.
oh, that's actually really good news.
My previews experience with Widevide DRM was a permanent keys loss.
Thank Samsung for this approach.
Should I be warry of some particular step into installing magisk on A71 ?

Not really. I rooted by mixing magisk into android and then flashing it with odin. There are some tutorials on youtube, showing how it's done.
