[REQUEST] DRM info after relocking bootloader - Samsung Galaxy A71 Questions & Answers

From the title: I'm kindly requesting to check DRM status (DRM Info app here) after unlocking bootloader and after relocking the bootloader.
If possible with a screenshot otherwise I'm interested in knowing if Widevide DRM Level goes back to L1 after relocking and how System ID changes with L3 and L1.
Furthermore t's useful knowing if you also flashed a custom rom and/or blew Knox Fuse in some other way.
Disclaimer: do not unlock your bootloader just to do this check. This request is meant for people who already have bootloader unlocked by their own means.
There is a screenshot example attached to this thread, stock locked A71 never before unlocked.

You keep your DRM keys when unlocking bootloader on A71, so Widevine stays at L1.
No TWRP installed, only magisk.

oh, that's actually really good news.
My previews experience with Widevide DRM was a permanent keys loss.
Thank Samsung for this approach.
Should I be warry of some particular step into installing magisk on A71 ?

Not really. I rooted by mixing magisk into android and then flashing it with odin. There are some tutorials on youtube, showing how it's done.

[Q] Unlocking?

I'm trying to figure out exactly what you lose when you unlock Z3(C).
So far I've discovered that:
- Sony has a webpage that allows you to unlock your device
- Unlocking your device will void your warranty
- Unlocking is the only known way to get root (at least right now)
- Unlocking your device will kill the "TA partition" that contains DRM keys
- Loss of the aforementioned DRM keys will cause some stuff to stop working
I found a huge thread on backing up TA partition for older xperia devices, but no good information RE: what exactly you lose if you wipe out the DRM keys by unlocking.
Do any of you know definitively: what the DRM keys are for and what you lose?
As an aside - it looks like backing up TA partition is only possible before you unlock bootloader and if you've rooted your phone (so probably not possible on Z3C until someone finds a working exploit to get root with a locked bootloader).
Thanks in advance for any insights.
I don't think there is a definitive place which says exactly what you lose by unlocking the boot loader but judging by what people having been saying after unlocking the Z3C and other Xperia phones on 4.4 it seems like the answer is nothing. Nothing is lost on the software side at all.
On the z1c I neglected to back up the TA partition. And apparently lost native mirror cast and some camera features when I rolled the device back to stock.
Back up your TA partition before unlocking BL... If not for the I'm tact features turn for your warranty!

Those that have rushed into unlocking the BL without backing up the TA partition risk voiding warranty I'm afraid.

Problem is, you need root to use those backup tools... So we would need a temp root exploit to backup before unlocking. But from what I've read so far, it doesn't seem like you lose that much, if anything.
I am also curious about this as I need root access but would like to preserve the warranty. Somebody else has also started a thread with what breaks with unlocking: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2890936

It's not that definitive that you will lose warranty. Sony says it may void your warranty. Known issues with the specific model or batch, or other hardware problems that could not be caused by flashing custom ROMs/kernels will most likely still be covered.

I myself have sent in my Xperia T twice since unlocking the bootloader and on both occassions it was covered by the warranty.
Mind you, I did relock the bootloader and flash a stock FTF before doing that.
Flashtool has a function to relock the bootloader

I don't know if this works on our phone already, maybe someone who has already unlocked would like to try?

Features lost during unlocking

Do I lose any features like on xperia phones when unlocking bootloader?
Your device will be wiped when unlocking and (unless you take measures to hide it) an unlocked bootloader will trigger SafetyNet (if you care about that).
Other than that, no worries.
Does 3T have any tamper flags and do they affect android pay?

No
No tamper flags. You won't lose your warranty by unlocking the bootloader or rooting a OnePlus device. Gonna quote their official faq:
"The technical process of rooting or unlocking the bootloader does not void the warranty of a OnePlus device. However, we strongly suggest for you to only root or unlock the bootloader of your OnePlus device if you are confident in your understanding of the risks involved.
By accessing resources regularly unavailable to the software, you may damage your hardware during or after the procedure. Such damage is not covered under warranty. In warranty handling, we will first need to verify that any faulty behavior is unrelated to rooting / unlocking."
Unlocking your bootloader affects AP in the way that it'll trip SafetyNet and AP won't work. You'll need to use some way of hiding it (kernel, Magisk, etc).

Xiaomi Mi9 unlocked bootloader - what does it really mean

Hi guys,
I've recently purchased my first Xiaomi device, the Mi9. I'd like to install the xiaomi.eu rom and thus have to unlock the bootloader. Now, whats does unlocking the bootloader really mean? Do I lose some of the native functionality of the phone (find the device, fingerprint, high level security apps such as banking apps, etc)?
I can't really find no specific info about that. As far as I know by unlocking the bootloader no varranty is void. Is this info right?
Sorry in advance if my question may sound noobish but it is my first Xiaomi device.
I think you lose Widevine L1

Widevine L1 after bootloader unlock + root with Arter Kernel?

I was curious if anyone has Widevine L1 after doing a bootloader unlock because I do use Netflix quite often. I'd personally would like to keep Arter's Kernel and Magisk for ARCore support plus other fixes that require root. There wasn't too much information in terms for the Razer Phone 2 specifically, not even sure if flashing back to stock and relocking would 100% restore Widevine L1.

Anyway to restore L1 after root?

Hello guys, I am a bit lost reading all about this.
I understand that after unlocking bootloader we loose L1, as it is downgraded to L3. Also, from other phone forums, I understand the only way to restore L1, is by making a backup of our persist.img, which you can only do if you are root.
So, unlocking, installing TWRP, rooting, restoring stock bootloader, and locking bootlaoder. Will then have L1 back while being rooted? Is there any risk on this operation, I have seen people bricking their phone while locking the bootloader, why is this happening?
Thanks a lot.
The only way going back to L1 is to relock your bootloader. This is an EXTREMELY risky operation, as you can end up a hardbrick if theres ANY system/boot/recovery change after unlocking the bootloader. I strongly recommend you NOT to relock the bootloader until there is a flash tool from Realme which is expected to be puclished within this month.
