[Q] ROM Moto G 2014 (XT1068) ?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone is working on ROM based KitKat. For model XT1068 currently there are only two stock ROM, is a bad thing to see, the Moto G is a terminal from modding and there is little material available. I hope that after the release of Lollipop someone still working on KitKat. Thanks ^^

Development for the moto g 2014 is kinda slow right now, i don't know if the devs aren't working at all or are waiting for lollipop.

I hope to develop more on KitKat...

I also wish that more roms are available for this device.....

Hi, is there any news of the Android 5.1 stock? I see it had been made for the moto g 2014, but dont find anything about the 2014Lte...

"This week" was a supposition but at least we can say "this month".
EDIT : Hum it was maybe a fake... But anyway many other moto phone got android 5.1 recently so we can suppose it will get it soon

I would not do that as it could mess up your phone.

Difference between Nicklaus and Owens

Hello what is the difference between Nicklaus and Owens? What Rom to install?

Nicklaus is the codename for Mediatek variant of E4 Plus and Owens for Qualcomm variant.

Just to be 100% certain, these are not interchangeable, correct? I know i sound like a newb asking this, but I have been finding a pretty even mix of Owens and Nicklaus versions of TWRP for my version of the Moto E4 Plus from Boost. I also want to make sure of this for when i decide to root my girlfriends Moto E4 from MetroPCS, as the only version I have seen so far is Woods.

My question wasn't really phone specific... In general, are Mediatek and Qualcomm versions of TWRP interchangeable?
