Hello what is the difference between Nicklaus and Owens? What Rom to install?
Nicklaus is the codename for Mediatek variant of E4 Plus and Owens for Qualcomm variant.

Just to be 100% certain, these are not interchangeable, correct? I know i sound like a newb asking this, but I have been finding a pretty even mix of Owens and Nicklaus versions of TWRP for my version of the Moto E4 Plus from Boost. I also want to make sure of this for when i decide to root my girlfriends Moto E4 from MetroPCS, as the only version I have seen so far is Woods.

My question wasn't really phone specific... In general, are Mediatek and Qualcomm versions of TWRP interchangeable?

I worked out it is just them basic xt1068 model. Thanks for that, didn't think of looking there.

Hi, after going through countless options for new phone now thinking about a s5 mini. Is there a best version to get? Something with best processor and unlocked bootloader? I'd like to load CM on it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You will have most development on the exynos (European) variant called: SM-G800F.
CM14.1 (Android 7) is only available for this one.

Maybe more Roms, but Android 7 is currently only available for the g800f

I think only memory and storage: mtk 6737 chipset is present on all tree models.

I have xt1771 rom installed on my Xt1773.
I read everywhere that xt1772 has 3gb (RAM), but mine says it has 2...

That has already been requested, but there has not been enough development yet for that to happen.
why we don't have offical or better custom roms with volte support for moto e4 plus. but many other latest phones have better customs ??? it's very frustrating
