Hi,
Just want to ask for opinion if Aliexpress' OnePlus Bullet Wireless is legit?
Since it is out of stock on oneplus online store, how come they have stock?
I can't wait for official retailer here in the Philippines.. I think it might take so long before it will be available =(
Sorry for my English.
Thanks
I bought them from Aliexpress. It costed me INR 6450 , and took 37 days to arrive, but I bought it anyway since I really liked it.
They are brand new, made by oneplus, and come in a sealed box. The seller even asked me to record a video while opening it, Just in case.
The magnetic pause/resume feature works flawlessly. and once you use it, its hard to go back to other alternatives. Charging is super fast.
Here's the link I used : AliExpress
Personally, I'd recommend you take a look at RHA MA390 Wireless as well, if you're looking for way better sound signature overall.
Cheers !

Dude u just paid double
I just got 'em from the OnePlus website. I'd recommend keeping 1 tab open of the Bullets Wireless on OnePlus's website. Also, subscribe to availability notifications on Amazon.in.
I did this for the last 2 months. And I'm glad to say, it was worth the wait
I wouldn't recommend buying it from AliExpress solely because of the warranty and price.
I bought mine from local reseller, luckily i found one, very happy with it, then i bought Comply eartips, it was fantastic!
I like mine well enough for listening to podcasts or watching videos on the train. But the sound is a bit thin compared to my proper ear-ins. When I go for longer trips I still take my cable ear-ins to listen to music.
They fit well. The magnetic pause is nice and works well but has the problem that when you stow your bullets somewhere and they lose contact you will lose battery and sometimes they will then connect to my phone and on the next call I can't hear anything. Wish there was another way to properly shut them off.
Battery life is good with at least 6 hours for me.

Hey everyone
What is your worst experience with someone?
Mine is, funnily enough, related to an XDA that I bought off eBay...
I sold my XDA Orbit 1 to a friend of mine for £167
After I had collected a decent amount of money, I found an XDA Orbit 2 on eBay for £257.50 including postage. Auction said brand new factory sealed xda orbit 2, with pouch, charger, box, co pilot 7, and it listed all the features for the xda orbit 2. Seller had 100% positive feedback (115) and was from Essex. Seemed pretty decent.
Bought the item...a week later. No emails, no item. Had to call their house multiple times and everytime I would call, someone else would answer and I could never get to speak to the seller (he was always at 'work').
Eventually I get an email from the seller....'sorry I couldn't send the item any sooner, my account had somehow messed up and I needed to reset the password. Item will be sent tommorow'.
Great! So I should be expecting the item soon. I go to school next day, and when I get picked up to go home I ask 'did anything come in the post for me today?'. The reply I got was: 'Yes, a parcel'. YES! The orbit 2 has finally come! After about 1 and a half weeks of waiting its finally here!
I rush home banging my knee on the way in (im soo anxious!). I look past the door and see a big, brown parcel addressed to me. I grab it, run to the living room and rip the packaging to shreads!
I have removed all the packaging, and take the box...I turn it over only too see it say: 'XDA Orbit' with the picture of the XDA Orbit 1 on it. Thats right, the seller sent me an XDA Orbit 1 and not the XDA Orbit 2! He sent me a Artemis and not a Polaris! He didn't even include the memory card for the CoPilot 7, or the USB cable for the PDA, handsfree kit, pouch, etc. All missing!
Nnooo!!! I paid £250.00 for something thats worth £120.00!
I sent the seller an email and got a reply soon after. He said sorry just return the item if your not happy with it.
Posted it off today, so I should be expecting the refund.
Oh well, it happens and it will happen to everyone some day!
So whats your worst experience with someone? I bet people will mention alot of stuff to do with eBay aswell!
NEVER buy anything off ebay. people have recieved fake chinese mp3/mp4 players instead of ipod nano.
when you see unexpectedly low price, just don't bother yourself.
i bought my athena from here, £260 with blocked imei, great price at the time, as i alredy had a phone for calling...
paid through paypal, and it came a day later by special delivery.
When I sold mine, i made the mistake of selling to italy, and it didnt arrive. it might well have arrived but he said it didnt, and the post offiice said i couldnt post a phone recorded to italy, so no tracking number, and me with no money and no athena
but i guess it wasnt really an ebay prob...
Also, i bought a psp from ebay when I was like 13, and the guy stole 75 quid off me... luckily i got some back, but not all of it.
In fairness, ebay generally is good, i picked up a 5m gold plated 2 rca to 3.5mm jack for 2 quic including postage...
so its if you wana take the risk on big things...
Rory
i bought a faulty hdd TV recorder second hand which didn't work from an eBay seller.

hmm i wudnt totaly agree i bourt my HTC TyTN off ebay ages ago for £100 quid....i was convinced it was going to be rubbish probly with bustted buttons and stuff hanging off it u know the drill....
....i was completly wrong it came like it was brand new! id say the only thing wrong was that it didnt come with earphones and it had a small dent in top left but it is unnoticeable
but i do agree it is very hard to get cheap stuff without it being fake!
Tell me about it...
I've had loads of problems with eBay, not just the one with the XDA.
Once I bought a remote controlled BB tank from a business seller. He was advertising it as 'BRAND NEW'.
When it came, it was opened, the BB pellets were scattered all over the box, clearly second hand, when I tried to use it, it literally broke after 10 seconds! Someone tried glueing the wheel back on as it had broke!
It was so crap aswell, it didn't even fire that good! The remote control sometimes didn't work aswell!
Another time I bought a 1/6 scale electric rc car. It was massive but after literally 12 hours of charging the battery it would only run for 15 minutes - It would considerably slow down after the 3 minutes! The rest of the 12 minutes it would be slow and then after that it wouldn't run at all!
I was driving it and it skidded on some ice, and smashed into little pieces after it hit a parked car! Lmao as funny as it seems now, it was kinda annoying back in the time!
Another time I bought a slingshot which snapped after a month
I bought some rifle mounts for my air rifle scope which were advertised as 30mm, but when they came they were too big!
And just now I have found out that a 2Gb memory card I bought is fake!
I don't even do much transactions on eBay aswell! I've only bought about 30 items from there!
Anyway the moral of the short stories are...don't spend any more than £15.00 when buying from eBay! That way when it messes up you won't kick yourself as hard!
Also you should know, don't SELL on eBay either. You get stupid buyers who will buy the item, leave you good feedback and then a month or two later issue a chargeback on their credit card! People even try and scam you to get your items!
By the way I have just noticed, I have exessively used the exclamation mark in this post (!) LOL
Hey guys, I just ordered myself a Grey Zuk Z1 from AliExpress seller called LuckyDog :silly:
It's $209 including shipping to New Zealand. Looks too good to be true but I did it anyway. The seller has only started selling on AEx earlier this year but he has 100% positive feedback.
I am waiting and not very sure what to expect. Everything in the ad looks legit.
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Orig...E-WCDMA-CDMA-Smartphone-Dual/32644824011.html
Take a look and let me know.
I have also decided to mod the skin myself instead of the custom skins rip offs being sold around. I got a car Decal Vinyl for about 90 cents and it's going to look mean as.
Anybody?
its kinda too late to give you an advice, isnt it?
do you want to hear that this is a safe and good buy?
i would not buy a phone frome a seller with only 300 sells ... these sells may be fake?
i bought mine from amazon shipped directly from ZUK and did so because i want to have a good service in case the homebutton breaks, which will happen sometime.
i hope your device will arrive at your place and youre happy with the device

Actually it makes sense to do so, as I can cancel my order anytime before it ships. So I can still do so. How do you spot a fake Zuk, actually why would you fake something that is already very cheap?
I won't worry too much about warranty, I can fix things myself (hardware) when it gets to that as shipping things around from NZ is very expensive. Not to mention that with me rooting the device, I do not expect warranty anyway. Plus, people has been having troubles with ZUK's support so adds up to me not relying too much on warranty.
You are making a compelling argument nevertheless and the point you have raised which I agree with is regarding the product being fake.
i dont get it why you ask for opinions if you defend your position anyway
i just stated i would never buy a phone from a new seller especially at aliexpress. i rooted my device after using it for 2 months, now 7 months after buying it the home buttons feels sluggish.
i didnt pressed it for 5 months because i used mrcoldbirds rom and since a few weeks the nuclearrom but youre right, if you want to tear the phone apart you can fix it by yourself
no more answers from me
I didn't mean to sound defensive. You're right there.
Maybe I should break it down to questions, makes it easy to stay on track
- Has there been any reports of bad or fake Zuk Z1?
- Has there been any complaints of Zuk Z1 devices bought of AliExpress
- Any cheap alternatives to buy the phone for someone in New Zealand?
Thanks heaps for your input and time, feeling a bit ashamed for not thanking you earlier.
Day by day I'm getting regretted of buying the Honor Play instead of POCO F1, the main reason is not the phone, speaker or the camera quality.
Since I clearly knew what I'm buying. But because of the ecosystem around the phone.
Couldn't buy a decent tempered glass from a good brand. Couldn't buy a decent case for the phone since the volume is not high and most case manufacturer ditched the phone.
On top of everything it's the attitude of the honor company itself. They just meant that after the selling it's your product not the companies.
I already mentioned the terrible lack of official accessories. Even for some accessories the site always mentioned out of stock.
On top of everything the accessories section itself is removed from the Indian website. Which means we only sell phones.
In mobile i can access the accessories section which contains only the charger, band and watch, that too out of stock.
Can't the company keep atleast the charger. It's pathetic.
I want to buy a charger since kirin chipset supports proprietary charging for office use and couldn't get anywhere. Not even in online portals.
This might be my last device with Honor or Huawei even how good it may be.
Worst part of it is, i tried to mail them last time and the mail bounced back. Never seen such irresponsible company.
I feel your pain and know where you are coming from, my last phone was a Nokia 8 which was in a similar position and the honor play is the same sort of way.
I can recommend this as a screen protector though:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07KHP66ND/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's not tempered glass but it'll protect the screen against most scratches.
As for the case I've ordered this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07F2J4XQY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But it hasn't arrived so I can't say anything about it's quality.
I sucked it up and paid for a bootloader code and having rooted the phone and removed a lot of the bloatware I'm happy with the Android now, although I would like OpenKirin to make it's way onto the device.

Where did you pay to unlock the bootloader? How much money?
About £40, much more than I'd have like to have paid (and that i think I should have paid at all...) but if I didn't unlock it I'd have just sold the phone and gone back to a Nokia for a more stock Android.

Quit your whining. Who buys official accessories? If you want a charger, buy a usb-c charger. Mine works in the office, just like it works anywhere you can plug it in - office, train, home etc. It's your product after you bought it? What does that even mean? Of course it's yours after you bought it. You're not making any sense, man!

Official accessories is another way of looking at companies interest in providing an ecosystem around the product. An assurance that providing support after sales. I'm using normal USB C charger in my office and official charger at home. Kirin uses proprietary charging techniques so third party supported charger is too few. My problem is why can't they have charger in store? Is that difficult to source even? If they can't even source the charger what will happen if any parts of my phone go kaboom. Will it ever get's repaired?
Apart from that how can an official email id get's bounced. Even my personal gmail have unlimited space. My problem is the companies attitude towards users not the product. it keeps the phone alive for at-least some years. I had low volume phones in past and had difficulties in company stopped updating it before an year. I don't want Honor Play to join that list.
Just sell your phone and buy a pocof1, good luck with that

I'm not saying that I'm going to buy but when Play got released F1 was in vicinity and i know it's pros and cons. Number of good accessories released for that phone is more than play and a little push from the company partnering with few more manufacturers will increase the value of the product. My regret is not with the phone, it's a great phone and am enjoying every bit of it. Just disappointed with the company.
i bought honor play at the time when poco f1 was going on flash sales on flipkart i missed my opportunity to buy poco twice due to that stupid flash sale and hence out of frustration i bought honor play

The thing is, you should have also realized these chinese companies are releasing products left and right. Honor Play is not a flagship phone. Its a budget phone and Honor/huawei have better products to support. Dont be a dumb person and make do what you bought. Just buy a freaking usb c charger it will work. Damn these millenials pisses me off

I've been considering buying the Razer to or the One Plus 6T, I'm still not decided. I got to mess around with the Razer 2 today and it was a nice ass phone, I haven't got a chance to mess with the One Plus 6T. I was wondering if anyone could answer a question for me? I have seen the video recording quality and it seems extremely shaky in videos I've seen and in person today when I was playing with the phone. Now the phone has none of the newest updates rolled out for it but I was wondering if that has improved with the updates or if it improves with the installation of the gcam apk? Thanks.
The Razer camera is janky. The Gcam port is the best.

This is the mod I use
I'm personally in love with my RP2, and the 120hz screen makes all other phones look like their laggy.
I took a chance on this phone cause the Asus won't work on Verizon. The number one feature that I want on a phone is an above average camera. Let me just say I about cried when I got it, but I got the gcam port and holy crap! I've had numerous people compliment pictures and videos. This phone is amazing so far.
Sent from my Phone 2 using Tapatalk
Just bought the phone and it is such an amazing phone. The stock camera is crap but I put the Gcam on there did some side-by-side comparisons and damn what a difference!
I just bought a Razer Phone 2 yesterday, at Best Buy. I paid $449 for it (I got $50 off for activating it on Verizon). Amazon also has it for $499, but they're currently out of stock (unless you want to pay almost $800, from other sellers). It was hard to find a Best Buy store that had it in stock, but I'm a tractor-trailer driver, and I was going from IL (where I took my break the previous night) to my terminal in Oklahoma City. I found a Best Buy store in Tulsa that showed they had three, but they only had one when I got there - which was fine, because one was all I needed!

I purchased mine from Best Buy, I didn't feel like waiting on the shipping from Razer. They only had one in stock when I went. If I had the money and they had three I'd buy all three just to have more for when they break down over the years. Hopefully they come out and say they will make a Razer 3 because I know there is no talk of it currently.

I had the $10 off coupon as well but at the end of the checkout they hit me with the tax so I said the hell with I'll spend $10 more to get it now and not have to wait.
Love this phone and loved the first razer phone 1 as well. Beautiful screens and the refresh rate at 120hz is unreal hard to use other phones after using for awhile. My opinion is the only real downfall is the speaker grills because all the crap that gets stuck in there. I took mine off with a heat gun lol. In the process of looking for a friend with a 3d printer to make my own grills.
Thank you for choosing Huawei and submitting your claim.
We recognise that the details of our recent Huawei P40 Pro pre-order promotion were not clear enough, and that some customers have received a CP60 Wireless charger (15Watt) when they were expecting a CP61 Wireless Charger (27Watt).
Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we are very grateful to those customers who were amongst the first to order the Huawei P40 Pro. We would therefore like to provide all customers who submitted a valid claim with a voucher that they can use to purchase the CP61 Wireless Charger from our Huawei Store. That is, of course, in addition to keeping the original CP60 Wireless Charger.
You will receive your voucher and instructions on how to redeem it by 11th June 2020.

Interesting - who exactly sent the email? Huawei Customer Services or the Promotions Team (which is a separate company).
That's the same information I was told from the UK Customer Service Manager a few weeks ago but hadn't actually heard anything since. Nice to see they've finally put it right, but the initial handling of this was terrible. You'd think Huawei would want to negate any bad press with its current position. The company that handles the promotion has prior for this type of thing though (not sending items out, misleading terms, shocking customer service - Opia Limited).

No. It was the pre-order deal. You had to submit proof of purchase before a certain date and only from select retailers.
Which country are you guys from? In Germany, the preorder bonus was gt2e and freebuds3
In the UK the pre order deal was;
Freebuds 3
CP61 wireless charger (but they sent cp60)
Supercharge in car charger
I am in the UK, i claimed the promo and received the 15W CP60 charger (plus the 27w car charger and freebuds 3) - I wasn't that bothered as I don't like flat chargers and have stuck the car charger to the bedside table to use as a stand and charge at 27W. Because of this i never queried the claim.
This morning Huawei have emailed to say that as the promo terms wern't clear I will receive a voucher to buy the faster CP61 charger by the 11th June. So looks like they are pro-actively contacting people who claimed.:good::good:

Super easy for me. It comes with a clamp with super sticky 3M tape on it. My bedside table has a shelf on the back so was able to stick it to he verticle bit holding the shelf, so it's above the actual table. Probably more difficult if you're looking to stick it on the table itself though as the clamp isn't that big. The charger has a car input and a USB C input so i just use the original Phone charging plug and cable and get the full 27W charging. I love the fact that it has sensors to grip and release the phone - honestly thats the main reason i decided to use it instead of the 15W charging stand that i already had!! :silly:
I have an Audi A3 with the aeroplane style vents - the car charger wouldn't clip onto the vents (or anywhere else for that matter) and even if it did it's so heavy it would of dragged the whole unit down. My only option was to use the 3M pad to stick it on and I didn't wanna do that. Something to think about if your car doesn't have conventional air vents (A class comes to mind).
My Voucher code to get the correct charger arrived today and its worth £69.99 ... Can confirm it is not specific to the charger. You're able to buy anything from their store. I didn't need another charger, so I've got some smart scales on their way to me
got my voucher as well, yay, wish the expiry date was december or so to give me a chance to raise funds to buy their laptops
In ireland is the only place you get only the freebuds 3. very disappointing.
In case anyone wishes to know the status for Germany: Last Friday I received a little package from "Teqcycle Solutions GmbH" with a Huawei GT 2e Smartwatch and Freebuds 3 inside.
GT 2e is a real fine piece of technology, the Freebuds 3 are okay: Real nice and clever design, great feel and secure fit in your ears. Also the noise cancelling works astonishingly well, really makes a difference which I didn't expect. In addition, using the Freeebuds 3 for phone calls works pretty well, my dialog partners didn't even notice I was using a headset, they all reported a real great sound quality. But the sound if listening to music is just okay, weak bass, sound not really transparent and well defined, nothing to write home about. Plus inability to switch off the headphones without returning them to the charging case (which even allows wireless charging, so you can charge the case wirelessly with your P40 Pro). I *hate* forced charging as it wears down the battery quickly, especially devastating for tiny batteries like the 30 mAh ones in the Frebuds 3. I also miss some more touch control - at present, the Freebuds only react on double taps, not on single taps, not on triple taps, not differentiating between short and long taps, narrowing the range of control actions to just two, which is far too less.

I have to agree on the FreeBuds 3. I was disappointed with mine mainly due to the sound. I really wanted to like them as I'd moved from Apple to Huawei (P40 Pro). But compared to the 2nd Gen AirPods they really don't compare. Battery life isn't as good, sound quality is off the mark especially with bass as you say. I also found the ANC didn't work great, especially walking with it on as the wind creeps in creating a strange sound effect. And lastly I felt they give me a headache, I could sense them firing off waves when I had them in (which I know, makes me sound crazy...:silly. Sold mine and bought a wireless charging case for my AirPods and now I'm happy again!
hmm i really liked the sound and the bass, i thought it was as good as beats by dre, i was genuinely impressed.
I wish it had longer lasting battery, longer than 4 hours. Also wish you could control the volume, how did Huawei not add volume control to it?
and unfortunately, it is always charging
