I cannot test it because I don't own s7 edge, saw post on reddit that new update has been released so I pulled OTA from AT&T servers and uploaded here.

Thank you tho.

Not anything that different that I can point out. My device *may* be a tad bit smoother, at least after things settled down post-update. Battery life appears to be the same as prior to the update.

This is just July security updates, nothing else is updated.

How are you installing this, I don't see a BL, AP, CP, or CSC file listed anywhere in the download.

1.) Turn off the phone. Hold down Volume Up + Home + Power until you see a little Android guy. It will say Applying System Update or something like that possibly, and just let it do it's thing until a menu comes up.
2.) Select "Apply update from ADB". You can scroll using the volume buttons and select using the power button.
3.) Make sure you have ADB and the proper drivers installed on your PC:
http://dl.adbdriver.com/upload/adbdriver.zip
4.)Put the firmware in the ADB folder. You can rename it to anything easy to remember like "FIRMWARE".
5.) In the ADB folder, hold SHIFT + right mouse click and choose "Open command window here". Then type the command "adb sideload FIRMWARE" (where FIRMWARE is how you named your file).
6.) Wait patiently.
7.) The phone will reboot and will hang at AT&T logo. This can take another 10 minutes, just wait until it's done

Anyway to force update to my SM-G920A? Need help please

Sorry I'm new here but I hope someone can help me out
My grandfather recently passed away and had this phone laying around.
I'd like to use it with another carrier and ATT gave me the unlock code to the device.
The thing is the device is running Android 5.1.1 and the build version is from 2015.
Nov. 24, 2015
Android version: 5.1.1
Baseband version: G920AUCU3BOJ7
Kernel version: 3.10.61-5927475
Build number: LMY47X.G920AUCU3BOJ7
Since its not connected to the ATT network anymore, I can't seem to update it.
Apparently the latest updates have been from 2018 and running Nougat.

This files are from at&t servers, they cannot do any harm to your device,
After you download the firmware extract it, download and install samsung drivers https://developer.samsung.com/galaxy/others/android-usb-driver-for-windows
Put your device in download mode by holding power+home+volume down and connect it via usb to your pc
Open Odin 3.12.3 and click on the 'BL' button, then choose the file that starts with "BL" inside your extracted firmware folder. Next, click on the 'AP' button and choose the AP file inside your extracted firmware folder. Click on the 'CP' button, choose the CP file inside your extracted firmware and finally click on the 'CSC' button, choose CSC file inside your extracted firmware and click START

OXM CSC so non carrier specific users should be fine.
Installation:
Step 1
Download Odin 3.13.1. Older versions won't work.
Step 2
Download and unzip the provided firmware. You should have 5 files in the folder
Step 3
Open Odin, and browse the files to their respective places. CSC: If you want to keep your data, select the HOME_CSC file, if you want a fresh installation, go with the regular CSC
Step 4
Power off your phone, then hold Volume Down + Bixby + Power. Once you see the warning screen, you can let go. Press Volume Up to enter download mode.
Step 5
Connect your phone to the PC and press Start in Odin. Once its finished, it'll automatically restart the phone.
Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the amazing community here, starting from the ever so patient moderators, up to the brave people who let me experiment on their machines to get the OTA links during this beta program (both S9, S9+ and even Note 9). A very special thanks goes out of course to the great @Wishmasterflo who was the first one to let me mess around with multiple computers he owns until we got it just right and established a certain solution to give you guys all the updates almost instantly. Kudos to him, and to all you who in the course of the last few months came here to help out other people!
We may convert this thread to a general S9 Pie discussion if it's okay with the mods, now that the beta is over.
Thank you all, and enjoy the great update Samsung blessed us with this Christmas!

Instructions:
SD card method
Download the necessary update.zip(s) for your device according to your current software version.
Step 1
Copy the update.zip file to your SD card.
Step 2
Reboot the device into Recovery mode. (Turn off the phone, then Vol Up + Bixby + Power button)
Step 3
Go to apply update from SD card.
Step 4
Install the update, and be patient.
Many people have reported that on ZRKA, they're unable to apply new updates from SD because of SD card mounting errors.
First try formatting your card on your phone, and try again. If that fails, use adb sideloading.
Edit: The most effective way I came across for this issue is to actually use a PC (or a phone utility) to format the SD Card with FAT32, then try the update.
ADB Sideloading
Download the necessary update.zip(s) for your device according to your current software version.
Step 1
Download the latest ADB ZIP file (Windows), then extract it to C:\adb
Step 2
Download and install adb drivers.
Step 3
Copy the update.zip file to C:\adb (or wherever your adb.exe file is)
Step 4
Put your phone in recovery mode and select Apply update from ADB, then connect it to your PC
Step 5
Wait until your PC installs the drivers, if you're doing this for the first time.
Step 6
Open command prompt, navigate to C:\adb (or wherever your adb.exe and update.zip is)
Step 7
Issue the following command: adb devices
If you can see a device in 'sideload' mode, you can proceed to step 8, otherwise you may have some troubleshooting to do.
Step 8
Issue the following command: adb sideload update.zip
Step 9
Be patient, and enjoy your update.
NOTE: You can't go directly from BRJ6 to the latest update, you have to start with ZRKA and apply them one by one.
IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO PERFORM A FACTORY RESET IF YOU'RE UPDATING FROM BRJ6 (Basically after a main system version upgrade). Otherwise its not necessary, but for
the most optimal performance and battery life, it is advised.

I think today the 15. No beta...
I write with the chat from Samsung and they only write that they have no informations :highfive:
The beta came to me a few minutes ago and is installing now. Funny I didn't sign up for it until about an hour ago This is on the US Snapdragon.
Can someone try installing the latest version of Samsung members and giving it a go?

You still won't be able to do OTA, because Knox is tripped. But you could flash it, when it becomes available to download.

(Guide) Upgrade from Oreo to Pie/One UI (Snapdragon/SM-N960, SM-N960U1, SM-N960W)

Let me start off by stating that this is by no means my tutorial, all information was gathered from this community and organized into, hopefully, a helpful tut. Thank you to Max Weinbach, who originally posted this tutorial - due to issues with the file hosting server, that page hasn't been updated in a bit. Hopefully this will help in the meantime... And a big thank you to Venom0642 for hosting these files!
NO ROOT!!!
MUST BE SNAPDRAGON VARIANT (SM-N960, SM-N960U1, SM-N960W)
Optional: This will wipe the data on your phone. Use SmartSwitch to backup your phones data to your computer
Step 1: Download the 3 Items listed below (AT&T N960USQS1ARJA, Odin3, N960USQS1ARJA-U1CSA7)
Venom0642 said:

Step 2: Copy or Move the "N960USQS1ARJA-U1CSA7.zip" file to your SD card and insert SD card into your Note 9 - If you do not have an SD card you can use ADB sideload to flash this .zip later in the process but I will not be going into much detail on this option. Skip this step if this is you and I will let you know when to use adb later on
Step 3: Unzip the "AT&T_N960USQS1ARJA" folder - Notice that you will have 5 files within this folder, we will only be using the 4 that begin with BL, AP, CP, and CSC
Step 4: Unzip the "Odin3_v3.13.1_3B_PatcheD" folder and launch the Odin3 executable
Step 5: Within Odin, click on the "BL" box and navigate to your "AT&T_N960USQS1ARJA" folder and select the corresponding file that beings with "BL". Do the same thing for the AP, CP and CSC fields within Odin, you can leave USERDATA empty - The BL, AP, CP, and CSC fields within Odin should now be populated with the "AT&T_N960USQS1ARJA" files
Step 6: Power down your phone. Once it is off, enter Odin mode by: holding Power button + Volume Down + Bixby button - Your phone may prompt you asking if you want to download a custom OS, press the Volume Up button to continue.
Step 7: Plug your Note 9 into your computer - If Odin is communicating with your phone, on the left hand side of the screen (odin on your computer), under "Log", you should see something like "Added!!"
Step 8: Hit "Start" within Odin - Your phone will now flash to N960USQS1ARJA and will automatically reboot into recovery mode when it is done. This will take a few minutes!
Step 9: You should now be in recovery mode. If you are not, power down your phone and boot into recovery by holding Power button + Volume Up + Bixby button. Use the volume keys to highlight "Wipe data/factory reset" , use the Power button to select it and select "Yes" to continue. - After the wipe completes, you will be brought back to the main menu of Recovery Mode
Step 10: Use the volume keys to highlight “apply update from SD card” and select it with the power key - If you do not have an SD card, this is where you would select "apply update from adb", open a command prompt/terminal on your computer and type: adb sideload <file location of N960USQS1ARJA-U1CSA7.zip>
Step 11: Now find the N960USQS1ARJA-U1CSA7.zip file that you put onto your SD card earlier by using the volume buttons to navigate and power button to select it - Your phone will now flash to N960USQU1CSA7 (Pie/OneUI) and will boot up normally when it is finished. This will take a few minutes!
Step 12: You are now on Android Pie. Walk through the normal startup menus and then use SmartSwitch to restore your data. Done!
Hope this helps a few people! I will try to keep this thread up to date with current builds as Venom0642 makes them available
I have a Snapdragon 845 U1 Unlocked version, using firmware.science it appears that I can upgrade directly to the Unlocked bloatfree firmware. Using your method I'll be upgrading to ATT version with ATT bloat. Is my understanding correct?

I do not know anything about the firmware science route, you would need someone else to help you there. But this version will have at&t bloat, you will have to disable the handful of apps they preload so you don't have to deal with them

Nice job on the tutorial!! I have been doing the Z beta builds, but have gone back to Oreo to wait for the official release!! Hopefully within the next week... but your guide here is very easy to understand and I'm sure it will help alot of people!!

C builds add full support for carrier features. With T-Mobile, you get Advanced Messaging and a few other things I can't remember now. Samsung Pay works on all beta builds, just not Google Pay.

Ok gotcha, so this latest c build is still a beta? If not Will there be a path to just flash zip on the c builds when the official pie release comes out?

I don't think so, as far as I know you can't crossflash firmwares from different variants (in this Case N960U or N960U1 to N9600 or vice versa).
But I'm on the same boat, mine is also N9600 and eagerly waiting for any sign of Pie.
Have you seen the release notes for Pie in the members app? Make no sense to me.
Fota showing 1CSA8 lol.

One question, if I'm already on the N96OUSQS1ARJA build can I skip that part and go straight to the PIE upgrade? Or is there any reason I should install ARJA version your showing?
TIA

Happy to help brotha! Venom already answered your question, but yes you can do step 1 (even though you don't need all of those files) and step 2 and then skip right to step 9

I saw the release notes now and they said march only
My release notes only contain a mess... no mention of note 9, only low or mid tier devices listed with date 28th of February.
I'm using Samsung Note 9 N600 dual SIM. Can I update using this method.

if your firmware matches below guide then you can update to one ui!
*#1234# <--- Type that into phone dialer and see if it's the same as the screen shot firmware Note 9 version info i have posted! if yes then follow below!
NOTE: THESE UPDATE.ZIP's ARE ONLY FOR DEVICES WITH MULTI-CSC OXM!!!
You can check this, to type in your dialer *#1234#, and check if OXM is in the CSC-build...
Managed to get the UPDATE.ZIP if your Note9 is currently on ARL3 (Oreo) to CSA2 (Pie)
ARL3 -> CSA2
If your device is still on ARK2, then update first to ARL3:
ARK2 -> ARL3
* If you have sd card place update.zip in it boot to recovery by holding power up + power +bixby button.
* Go to apply update from SD card.
* just choose install update, If no sd card choose adb in recovery.
* Download adb from here https://dl.google.com/android/reposi...st-windows.zip
Please NOTE this is not my guide!! All Thanks and all credits go to @jaylence for taking the effort to reset his device, and getting the "update.zip" for you!

You rename the .bin file to UPDATE.ZIP if you slowly read the guide you dont need to ask us anything as all the answer you are looking for are in the guide!

There is nothing out for the SM-N9600 yet.
What has been posted in this thread does not apply,it's either for the SM-N960F or SM-N960U Beta ,neither of which will work on your model.

The conventional wisdom is that updates have been faster this time around,so,at least there's that.
If the trend continues, perhaps there'll be an improvement over last year's Note 8 Int'l Snapdragon (SM-N9500),which didn't hit the street until April '18:

Our NOTE9 are categorized by CSC. Generally, for "unbranded" variants, these devices are included in the multi-CSC OXM.
There are other "branded" variants. They don't belong to the multi-CSC OXM. They are given their own CSC group. Example for the UK, they have different CSC for EE, so is O2.
Now, based on the info you provided, your device is part of the multi CSC OXM with current build ARK2.
But, to be sure, dial *#1234 to know your exact build number.
Being on a Multi-CSC OXM, means you can install/flash any multi CSC OXM firmware of your choice. It's completely safe.
Instructions for flashing using odin are provided by OP at posts #1 & 2.
Instructions for installing update.zip via recovery are also provided somewhere in this thread (can't remember the post #... you'll have to backread).
If you can confirm that you are indeed on ARK2 build, your update will be like this:
1. Install ARK2 -- > ARL3 update.zip
2. Install ARL3 ---> CSA2 update.zip
Hope this helps you.

Here's the link for the OTA file. It's a patch file and not the full ROM, so please be sure that you are already on November security patch without any modifications (I have a bootloader locked device as Motorola voids warranty after bootloader unlock. So people with unlocked/rooted devices should wait for the full ROM or they can try their luck at their own risk)
https://mega.nz/#!k58AGSbD!ePccyYgFiyhWVKFBUw2SUIFVcpYrAK8qvn9M2rv0zXc
Prerequisites: 100% Stock ROM with no system modifications of any kind. This file is only for the Indian variant of the Motorola One Power. You should already have installed the Android Pie November security patch update from Motorola before installing this update.
1. Download from link and move it to root of your internal storage(not in any folder like Downloads etc). Put it outside all folders.
2. Go to Settings>Apps&notifications>Show all apps>3dot menu(top right of the screen)>show system apps
3. Find Motorola Update Services and give it storage permission.
4. Go to Updates screen and check for update. It will show up. Install as any normal OTA.
I've used the same file to upgrade my own device and a few others who got the file over PM. No one reported any issues with the update.
Disclaimer: I'm not responsible for anything you install on your device. Use at your own risk.
Thank you for the link!

Thanks for the link, wondering if this will work on an unlocked Moto P30 Note? On P30 note I flash everything from latest full ROM except those files: bootloader.img, BTFM.bin, fsg.mbn, gpt.bin, NON-HLOS.bin.

I wouldn't recommend using this file in that case. I have used it in a bootloader locked Indian moto one power without any problems.
You should wait for the full ROM as this is just the patch file. Shouldn't be too long.
Yes !! There are some bugs and issue, but nice one i got some new features atleast
Thanks reddevil for sharing the link of that ota file
i rooted my device using magisk. now everytime i uninstall magisk my phone ends up rebooting to recovery. and the updater wouldnt update to the new build.
