I've installed all kinds of motorola drivers including the one that the device manager from motorola website, still I cannot read the qc diag serial port. Does anyone have these drivers?! I'm working on sim unlocking the sprint moto x and I gotta be able to get into the modem and see what I'm dealing with. Get me usb serial access to issue QC commands and hopefully I'll be able to post instructions for simunlock and cricket/metropcs flash (that opens up pretty much every carrier except verizon for the sprint model). I wont know until I can qxdm to it, I wish I had a radiocomm version that supported the msm8960 but the version I have goes up through the 6x00 not even close. I still think I can get done what I need to do with qxdm.
Thanks in advance.
+1,did you find then?

looks like you're booted into bp tools for those interfaces to be dectected, correct? i'm not sure whether or not the moto device manager has drivers for these interfaces as i always use the standalone drivers. here's a link to the latest available as of this posting:
http://batakang.com/ftp/?dir=devs/mhous33/drivers
whichever driver installer you use, the drivers have to be installed manually. iirc motorola qc diag interface is the only one you need to communicate with qpst/qxdm.
in device manager, right click on motorola qc diag interface > update driver software > browse my computer for driver software > let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer > ports (com & lpt).
under manufacturer, select motorola.
under model, select motorola qc diag port.
click next, driver should be installed successfully.
looks like you're using windows 8, so you may have to temporarily disable driver signing for it to install.
hope this helps.

Lmao I posted this same rant on facebook and a phone flashing friend did these things with team viewer and went ahead and helped me retrieve my MSL code as well. It is all coming down to the UICC unlock, this is what is holding back our ability to sim unlock the sprint version of this phone (because without the UICC unlock it wont read any other Sim cards anyways) I'm working on that right now but I have a headache so it will be later.
ok,please if you have sucefully unlock gsm i will love to pay you if you give me the way.
MSL code

I did downgrade to 4.4.4 and updated via OTA for 5.0! The phone died. Not enter into fastboot and only one green LED lights up. Already searched several tutorials a solution to this, but I can not. Already tried using blankflash, also tried using tools for processor and always has an error I do not understand. Please help! :crying:
As of now, there is no way to reflash the bootloader/recover from a hard brick.

We don't have yet the files for blankflash our Moto X 2014.
I opened this thread in motorolaforums to request the files: https://forums.motorola.com/posts/b6cb5537f5
You can post there to push the thread.
Acquired recently another xt1069 RetBR identical to mine, trying to put the same in diagnostic mode and searching the web I have good news, I found out how to put xt1069 in diagnostic mode, just make the procedure to enter fastboot connecting the cell with the volume low down for 4 seconds and select the BP Tools mode (the phone will start normally but with enabled diagnostic mode) in the drivers you need to manually install the existing driver and installed with Motorola Device Manager, go to:
Device Manager
> Has an outdated driver with name Motorola QC Diag Port
> double click on this
> Find driver Software on computer
> Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
> Show all devices (wait while it loads all drivers)
> Select the Manufacturer: Motorola
> Select the Motorola QC Diag Port driver (ignore the driver compatibility information) and ready.
Now is the situation gets a little complicated ... I have QPST Version 2.7 Build 422, see my device that works in QPST Configuration and he appears to me as:
Phone: MSM8626
ESN: 0
Phone Number: Empty
Banner: MSM8626
Port: COM9 (COM9 (Auto add)).
Hereafter wanted a guide to try to revive the other xt1069 that is with hard brick.

Hello, first of all I want to congratulate the XDA team for the excellent work that it has been exerting to help others is for what reason is ...
I have a Moto G2 2014 (Retail) XT1069 in the situation of many ... Hard Brick, but I know other people close to me who also have the same appliance is functioning normally.
My questions are:
There is a possibility I use some of these working Moto G2 to revive my dead phone ?, if so how do I do that? I would like a step by step and even if you can revive this my phone and if the XDA team accepted I can make such files so other users can also relive your XT1069
I have also the availability of a XT1068 and XT1033 working perfectly still, if interesting can perform the procedure with the two other models also provide the files to revive the dead.
Sorry for my English, I am Brazilian and I'm using google translator to expose the situation in English. I'm waiting for Dev's to try to revive our Motorolas with their solutions.
I agree, if someone need to give the files to recreate a blankflash, we can kill but we will take it

Yes it's possible with Jtag, but isn't that expensive? A user like me wouldn't pay for example for a medusa pro jtag 300$ to get fixed a phone which has a price around maybe 100$.

But it looks like you still gonna need programmer mbn
Not to bay, go in the repair servis who have jtag, and pay 20$ to unbrick. In Belgrade only one r.s have riff box jtag. And can't do anything with my phone, say can not access emmc (read only) To send in India will cost to mach money, and maybe can not unbrick my moto g xt1068. I will waiting blank-flash to leak, if leak.
The reason i am here is to ask for help. I have driven myself crazy in solving this complicated problem i have.
Ok
i own a moto g4 xt1624 and though about rooting it for all the reasons why people root.
Got the bootloader code unlocked the bootloader and installed twrp recovery file.
Went ahead and followed all the steps to install Lineage os 14.1 steps from their offical site.
Done all Flashed the file and the device is stuck on a screen now Saying :
Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted.
ID:bad key
Tried every forum on here the device doesn't seem to connect to pc . No showing up in device manager also
Installed all moto usb and qualcomm 9008 drivers .
The device just doesn't enter into fastboot mode no matter what i do
