My phone can connect OTG mouse, But some games cannot support OTG mouse
I think those games not check click event, only check touch event.
So, Is there a System Setting or App can change OTG Click Mode to Touch?

Stupid question but has anyone tried a a PS2 controller with an OTG cable?
Also, if I do have to buy a PS3 controller, do I need to buy a seperate cable to plug it into the OTG adaptor?
Tack!

Hey there,
I'm not sure if the ps2 controller will work as all I have in house is deh ps3. I don't see any reason why not tho. Can anyone confirm?
In regards to the cable' as long as you have the micro USB otg adapter, then you can attach a regular USB cable with the mini USB(more rectangular shape looking, or like the one that charges the PS2 remote)) to the otg adapter....
(Nexus7)
Edit: I found this in another thread....... looks like the PS2 controller will
Work.
In order for a controller to work in games on Anrdoid, the controller should be naively supported from the OS?
Also, the Sixaxis app, is this only required for PS3 controllers over bluetooth? What if I get a wired controller that is said to be supported for the PS3; would this require support via Sixaxis, or Android?
I have some store credit for Walmart, and I noticed these controllers:
Snakebyte Sb00344 PlayStation 3 Wired Controller - Black (PS3)
Snakebyte Sb00344 PlayStation 3 Wired Controller - Black (PS3)
POWER A PS3 Pro Elite Wireless Controller
The first one is a wired PS3 controller. The other two rely on a wireless signal over a USB adapter. Would any of these happen to work naively on Android? I'm not entirely sure how the first controller interacts with the PS3 exactly over USB, but perhaps when plugged into a computer, it would be detected as a normal controller, and work fine? The other two may have less of a chance at working, but idk...
Edit: A PS2 controller through a cheap PSX-to-USB hub from Radioshack back in 2002 seems to work fine mostly, except the right analog stick is mapped wrongly in Dead Trigger (left and right go up and down, up and down goes left and right).
Don't buy the knockoffs

Hey guys, just wanted to ask, my ps3 controller connects via otg, the lights power on, however I cannot play any games with it. I'm not rootedyetbso I can't use wireless connection.
Please check out the sixaxis app for PlayStation controller, endless customizing and I can walk anyone through it if needed

I know I can use six axis for wireless but I don't want that just yet. I'm asking for a wired connection via otg.

Is there option to use chromcast as MHL cable? I mean sth like this: phone > USB OTG cable > standard usb-microusb cable - chromecast > TV

No not really...
MHL is just another name for Slimport. And it depends a lot on device support, many older devices have a true Mini HDMI port while newer models add slimport support to their USB port that can be plugged into a TV with the proper Slimport adapter.

i meant if phone already support MHL
I use Xperia Z1, its rooted and now it support screen mirroring but MHL is lagless, perfect for playing games especially if you have wireless game controller

Doesn't change the answer as far as the CCast is concerned....
the USB port is really only used for Powering the device under stock conditions and while I assume it might be possible to add MHL support to a Custom rom for Rooted units at this point none of that exists.
CCast is not really a display adapter it is a media device that is more like a browser on a stick.
Once booted the CCast can only communicate and get data via WiFi and thats where the lag comes from.
That said games written specifically for the CCast work differently as the game runs natively on the CCast and you control it via wireless which reduces the lag since very little bandwidth is needed and all the data intensive work is done on the device where WiFi and latency can't affect it.
But so far most games for CCast are very rudimentary I think your looking or Graphic intensive games that normally play on the mobile device...
I think the best you will from those types regarding CCast support is a Observer view where some can watch the action happening on the mobile device but where delay and lag doesn't affect the player.
You are better off and pretty much resigned to using cables for true live update.
Specifically, has anyone had luck with the Xbox One controller? I heard it worked, so of course I went out and bought a controller mount and a couple OTG cables. But of course, it doesn't even begin to work. I'm wondering if there's something I'm doing wrong -- I'm connecting the OTG cable to my phone, plugging a micro USB cable into the USB 2.0 female end of the OTG cable and plugging that into my controller.
I know it works with PS3 controllers -- I don't want a PS3 controller, though. Nor do I want to buy a new controller, especially a wired Xbox 360 controller. Any ideas?

In order for a device to "work via otg", that device needs to be supported by other software running on the device, including a kernel driver (probably not present), and sometimes a userspace driver (definitely not present).
In a brief google search, it seems that the driver you are looking for may be called something like "xpad" or "xboxdrv". The latter has a kernel AND userspace component, both of which are NOT installed on your phone.
If you want to make it work, you will need to recompile the kernel with the necessary driver built in, AND build the userspace driver (may not even be trivial to compile this).
no idea about the xbox one controller but a wired 360 controller works with my nexus 6 and 10, i can navigate through android and i can map keys with drastic ds emulator which is what i use it for, dont know about other game
Hello, does anyone connected DS4 controller to the OP3T using sixaxis app from playstore and OTG cable using from micro usb to type C adapter? Many people claim on oneplus forums that otg with controllers dont work...:crying:
I wanna buy this device but i need to confirm this cause i am playing a lot of emulators on my current samsung phone like psp, ds and others.
(btw i contacted oneplus live support and they say that only otg file transfer is only supported using otg toggle on settings)
I don't know about the PS controller but I do have a Logitech USB controller that works fine for me.
Does the phone support an external display and if so, are any of the display adapters known to work with the phone.
If they are, is there a way to enable USB OTG for KB and mouse simultaneously with display out?
