Excuse my english i'm from germany.
Also also i don't really know much about ROMs and Stuff like that.
My Huawei ascend g510-0100 (Android 4.1.1) is rooted.

Thanks
i have the same issue with huawei g700 JB 4.2.1, same error
all worked fine until the 2.61 update, when gravity box stopped working.
i solved by
1) uninstalling completely xposed and all modules
2) installing xposed v 2.51 (release 29)
3) installing gravity box JB version 3.10

Note that Xposed 2.5.1 couldn't work completely either. Huawei added a theming engine, and with the approach in 2.5.1, it got disabled. On other ROMs with a similar situation, this led to bootloops, you're lucky if it works fine for you and just disables some theming capabilities.
Have you got a link for me because i just find ads and fake apps ...
Disabling the Huawei theme engine from the build.prop has proven successful on certain devices/ROMs. Be sure you know how to get out of a bootloop and/or have a backup ready.
Simply find and replace:
Code:
ro.config.hwtheme=1
with
Code:
ro.config.hwtheme=0
You may have to add the line manually, depending on your ROM. Set permissions to rw- r-- r-- (chmod 644) and reboot. If your device fits the bill, you should be able to reenable resource hooks from the Xposed Installer.
Hi guys,
For most Huawei Emotion UI device, you can try this modified xpoaed with full function:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2547781
[APPS]Xposed Framework for Huawei EmotionUI[2.3.1]
Version 2.5 is in #71. Unfortunately, this is the last version for us if we don't want the resouce hooks to be disabled.
Hope rovo89 can make official xposed framework compatible with Emotion UI, so we can use a full function brand new xposed.
Many thanks to you, rovo89, for your great work.
With my device and all these steps it didn't work.I could install the framework now but the moduls are not working and if i open gravity box it showes hat:
Does the log in Xposed Installer show any error messages? Especially, look out for the one mentioned in the FAQ.
No, didn't found an error

I don't think it matters which variant of the P7 you have. I recently tried a custom ROM by Lishuo which is based on B124 for the L07. Even Xposed 2.5 wouldn't install. I have no problem with my current ROM although I can't upgrade Xposed beyond V2.5. I suspect the earlier builds of the P7 stock ROMs are compatible (up to a point) with Xposed, but the later builds are not.
I'm on stock rom and I use Xposed version 2.5
Some module works, but most of them don't, which is sad. I mainly use it for gravity box which work at 85% I would say.

The problem is not the version of Xposed, the thing is you could be using the latest 2.7 version but it doesn't work on our devices for any "theming" thing. I guess it would work for XPrivacy but not if you want to use, lets say, GravityBox to theme the navbar.
I've had Xposed for some time, used it for Snapchat modules, and it worked fine. I installed GravityBox [KK] today and for some reason whenever I try to open it I get "GravityBox system framework not responding. Exiting."
Is it because I don't have theme engine disabled or is it something else?

I had it when I was using Xposed 2.6 or higher or when I didn't reboot my phone after instaling it (which is dumb ... I just forgot xD)
I'm now on 2.5.1 and I didn't touch disable nor enabled theme engine, I left it as it was when I installed Xposed 2.5.1

Hi,
Which version of Xposed do You recommend to reduce this limitations ?
EDIT:
I tested Xposed versions: 2.6 and 2.4.1 and 2.5
In ver. 2.6 You have to check on "Disable resources hook" option in settings. Another way Xposed don't start and inform about incompatibility with our devices . But with this option many module are blocking and dont work.
In ver. 2.4.1 and 2.5 There isn't this this restriction and Xposed starting normally and some module (blocked in ver 2.6) work properly but many also don't work.
In addition, this version changes the icons in the home screen theme.
In any way on rom (B135) I can't use GravityBox module (irrelevant Xposed version). GravityBox interface don't even launch
And last problem. So, I didn't make backup set_immutable.list file o) . Somebody can help me and upload this file ?

I can only speak about the B121-126 which were the two version I used. On both, gravitybox was working perfectly with Xposed 2.5.1 (when I say perfectly, I mean about 85% of the tweaks were working)
Hey, I still have a problem with GravityBox (KK).
I am trying to use this module in the second ROM (B135 and now B136) but always have the same issue when trying to launch (see screenshot).
Any suggestions ? Did someone similar problem ?

Hello
I'm a little confused about xposed and modules on stock rom for Galaxy S5. May be someone can answer my questions.
I rooted my G900F, Marschmallow 6.0.1 and installed TWRP. Then I installed Xposed Framework V89. On my phone is the stock rom installed. I used Touchwiz UI, but changed to Nova launcher.
Now, I read warnings about bootloops while using Xposed with Samsung devices. I wonder if this affects my device too.
1. Since I use Nova Launcher, is Touchwiz still an possible issue?
2. Is Xposed by itself the 'danger' part or are it the modules? So far I installed one module. Everything works fine.
3. When I open Xposed Installer version 89 there is a warning: There seems to be a known Issue (Samsung Touchwiz Rom) with your Rom. Install Xposed might not work or lead to severe problems.
If my phone is affected, what is the best possible way to avoid potential issue? I red there are unofficial Xposed versions which are modified for samsung stock roms. But I couldn't find any.
Others say, newer version are fine for my phone.

Nova launcher it's just a launcher, samsung phones ARE touchwiz, not the launcher itself.
Xposed it's the dangerous part, since it's something that edits your phone. Obliviously, if you install incompatible modules that hurts too, just pay attention to install compatible ones.
With a 5sec. search, you can find this thread.
I don't know if newer versions of official xposed are compatible with touchwiz roms, but in this thread there are the unofficial versions that are 100% compatible with yours, just read and download the correct zip.

Thank you. Very helpful.
On the thread you linked is an download link. The latest version is xposed-v87.1-sdk23-arm-custom-build-by-wanam-20161125.zip
That's exactly the version I installed first. Later I updated it trough the xposed installer to version 89. Should I rather downgrade to the v87.1 version, or is the new installed 89version a custom build by wanam anyway?
I couldn't figure out which version (modified or not) is right now installed.

And the last questions. When I got the correct custom Xposed framework, can modules still screw up my phone?

I'm not sure about the update. But the "normal" version should not even let your samsung phone boot up, so if it works it's ok.
Modules are not related to the official or unofficial version, I mean if you install for example gravitybox it explicitly says: "not try on touchwiz roms"
That's what I mean. Usually informations like this are in the description in the xda thread so you should be able to understand which is good for you and which not.
To add to that, in the Xposed installer, Download section, you can do searches.
Search for touchwiz or samsung to get some results that may let you know if certain modules are for, compatible with, or not for your setup.
The module descriptions in the installer are similar to the OPs of the various module threads. Might make it a little easier initially to get an overview. Then you can go to various module threads if you have questions concerning them.

Hello,
I seem to have installed Xposed successfully, because in the Xposed app it says, I have installed Xposed Framework v89 successfully.
however it does not seem to work.
I have installed the Module MinMinGuard and it says Xposed is not enabled.
How can I verify if it works or not?
I installed the official Xposed Version.
I remember, that some time in the past I had to install wanams Version for Xposed to works, but since I can only find old Versions, I would like to use the official version.
How can I get it to work?
I use Resurrection Remix ROM v5. 8.2, which is Nougat 7.1.1
Thanks

The exposed installer app main screen will tell you if the exposed framework itself is active or not. After installing MinMin guard did you reboot. Also in installer menu under modules make sure the module is checked then reboot.

Yes, I rebooted.
I have now uninstalled MinMinGuard, but I can not install it again.
It download the addon, but when the download has finished, there is no button to install it, like there used to be.
Does the official Xposed work with a S5 and my CustomROM or only wanams Version?
If I remember correctly, in the past I was only able to install wanams version, but it seems to be outdated by now.
I also get a notification, that I have to update Xposed, but I don't know where to find a newer Version

I am using official rovo's ver 89 on stock 7.0 rom with no issues. I believe exposed is more firmware and architecture related rather than device(with exceptions of course).
As to to custom ROMs I am not sure as I having only used stock ROMs but there are threads here on XDA for your rom. If exposed was not going to work on your device I would think you would know about it.
MimMin Guard(ver 2.0.2) is working for me. I have only been using it for a short time (running 2 other ad blockers as well) have noticed that there are no notifications to say if it is blocking or not unless you open app up and scroll through app lists.
When downloading modules is complete it installs automatically then should tell you to reboot.
Not to sound like a broken record but remember when un/installing reboot.
I believe wanums versions are for Samsung devices on lollipop/marshmellow.
As to updates as far as I know there are none yet for nougat unless you have magisk version or an unofficial version.
Link below is for minmin guard thread for more info

Edit: Sorry just realized yes it does come up with install option. Sounds like you only disabled the module and not uninstalled it.

I did remove MinMinGuard completely.
Now I've found out, that I can no longer install any Xposed addon.
It seems to download the addons, but it won't install.
Also I always get a notification, that I need to update Xposed...
I'll try remove and reinstall Xposed.

Latest version is 3.1.5
Edit: You could also try clearing data and cache in your app settings.

I preferred Magisk, because it is very stable while does not depend to system.

Hi All,
Hope you are fine. I have some questions mates. Now i had installed Xposed Framework before Magisk and it is still installed. I realized (from Downloads) Magisk has Xposed Framework module.
Should i uninstall Xposed Framework from phone and install from Magisk?
If yes, why?
If i use Xposed Framework standalone (without Magisk), what is advantages and disadvantages?
Thank you so much.

If your current version is working then there is no real reason to change. I have rovo's version 89 and magisk separate on my s8 with no issues. Basically it boils down to personal preference. I like to keep root and exposed separate in case of issues with one or the other. In any case if there are issues with exposed then it will happen on any version that you install.
As I've said it's all a matter of personal preference.

magisk does not have xposed module ?
