Hello All,
I have seen posts across forum seeking support for installing Xposed Framework for our phone - Redmi 2 (wt88047).
For a new person it can be indeed confusing as Xposed files vary depending upon Android version (different for Android 5.0/5.1/6.0) as well as vary depending upon processor (different for arm, arm64, x86)
Hence this guide, following which one can easily find, download and install right version of Xposed Framework and can start enjoying various xposed modules.
Prerequisite is to have rooted phone with Custom Recovery (TWRP / CWM).
Now there are two variants of Xposed Framework. To get more insights pls read further else move to Step 1
1) Official release by rovo89 which works fine for ROMs like CM, AOSP and others based on CM, AOSP etc. Unfortunately this official version doesn't work with MIUI
2) Unofficial release by SolarWarez which is tweaked to work for MIUI devices. This works perfectly well for MIUI ROMs (including stock rom loaded on our phone as well as other custom MIUI versions like one from xiaomi.eu)
While I have linked to the original threads for the two xposed variants, it can be still confusing as there are total of 9 files (3 android versions multiplied by 3 processor types). Our device Redmi 2, though has 64-bit processor but all ROMs are 32 bit only. Hence we need to get arm files.
STEP 1 - Downloading the right type of files
File No. 1: XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha4.apk from here
File No. 2: Xposed*.zip (version 86 for all except MIUI Kitkat) installation file from below depending upon ROM type. For v87 go to next post below.
For devices running MIUI ROMs download one of the following files depending upon base android version (Lollipop / Marshmallow):
Xposed 2.6.1 for MIUI based on Android 4.4.X
SDK21 for MIUI based on Android v5.0 (Lollipop)
SDK22 for MIUI based on Android v5.1 (Lollipop)
SDK23 for MIUI based on Android v6.0 (Marshmallow)
For devices running CM, AOSP or other similar Custom ROMs download one of the following files depending upon base android version (Lollipop / Marshmallow):
SDK21 for Custom ROM based on Android v5.0 (Lollipop)
SDK22 for Custom ROM based on Android v5.1 (Lollipop)
SDK23 for Custom ROM based on Android v6.0 (Lollipop)
File No. 3: Xposed-uninstaller*.zip from here to uninstall the framework.
STEP 2 Installing the files
- Install Xposed Installer apk (file no. 1)
- Copy the Xposed*.zip (file no. 2) and the Xposed-uninstaller*.zip (file no. 3) to your sdcard
- Reboot to custom recovery
- Make a nandroid backup
- Flash "xposed*.zip" through custom recovery
- Reboot and wait, it may take several minutes to boot up depending on your ROM size and installed apps amount.
If phone doesn't boot even after 5 minutes then reboot into recovery and restore by using nandroid backup or by flashing Xposed-uninstaller*.zip
That's it... In case anything fails, pls read carefully and verify that right version of xposed*.zip file has been installed.
Credits to @rovo89 & @SolarWarez. If you like the work, pls donate to @rovo89

Xposed Framework version 87
In post above, the xposed files are for version 86. But now we have v87 also available and hence sharing links for v87 in this post. This is actually file no. 2. Rest all steps as per above post.
Download Xposed*.zip (v87) from below link depending upon android version (LP, MM) and rom (MIUI / CM or AOSP) type.
For devices running MIUI ROMs download one of the following files depending upon base android version (Lollipop / Marshmallow):

I'm having problems with Xposed for KK MIUI. I can't download modules. The Xposed Installer simply starts to download, and after one second stops the download. I have to install/update manually every module. I tried to download trough wifi and mobile data, without success. There is a solution? I need to install the 3.0 installer apk?

Are the issues sorted?
Best is that you can first uninstall the xposed, reboot, install xposed and then see. This should help. For me working with MIUI LP (I flashed gkalen's version)

yes they are stock. read that post carefully, you will get all answers
Installation Failure
Hi - I tried to install the zip file on my device which is currently running custom eui 5.26 (stable).
1. I went into - recovery mode,
2. Backup the current OS
3. wipe (Dalvik, cache, system and Data)
4. Install - (Zip) downloaded from the link you shared
---------------- FAILED "ERROR 7"..............................
CAN YOU PLEASE SUGGEST, How to replace custom ROM with Stock ROM.
---------------- FAILED "ERROR 7".............................. is caused because stock ROM as you called is only for chinese market . Your's is x526 , I suppose is indian version so you can't install so called stock ROM . Anyway all ROM you find are based on stock ROM , I mean the latest chinese released version . Latest release is 26 S - 05181 version , this is an OTA update from latest ROM you can see on chinese "bbs.le.com" ( 26S - 03111 version)
I understand what you are trying to say. In that case I won't mind to go back to Indian version stock ROM. The battery back was ****ing awesome. The ROM installed now drains down to 79% overnight just on WI-FI on airplane mode.
Please suggest Indian version stock ROM link of you have access to.

Ehm this airplane mode thing I have too. If you are no pilot, just don't use it and battery drain is fine. As my phone is booting up fast like a Windows 10 pc I now like to switch it off at night. And I am using lakku's updated Los 13 version
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-2/development/rom-lineageos-13-0-t3621312
because I will not give Los 14 a chance before Leeco will maybe release nougat fur us at the end of august, if all I read wasn't fake ...
can't believe anyone wants to go back to eui because of battery drain. You could also install any lineage custom rom and install overdose kernel after it and you will be fine with battery
Dude thanks for your response.
For your update, I installed many of them:
Lineage
Resurrection remix
AOSP
Paranoid
I'm planning to try miui ROM, I need a stable ROM with better battery life. If you know one please suggest.

Mine version is EUI and I tried also many other ROMs but in my opinion the proper one is EUI because has few bugs . Also I have done some minor modifications most of them regarding build.prop . Now battery is great and ROM works smooth and fast . Remain to EUI or MIUI , man those are the best . These ROMs are tested and works awesome . You can find some fine ROMs on russian web site related , they are great developpers ... here is a link to 4PDA :

It works you have to disable tencent network in settings>app>tencent network then you need to move out of your house and open google maps once it detected your location it will work.
I already tried this, but helpless. I am now in stock 26s CN version. I have modified this rom and made it light as small eui. Working everything and very smooth
Help me to unbind leeco account
guys after flashing stock rom and when i do first start i stuck at leeco account kyunki mujhe password bhi nhi pta or reset bhi nhi ho rha phone se bta rha h system doesn't support this feature in setup wizard kya kru jaldi btao ????
When you login after flashing the ROM for the first time, try to set it up as a new device. Leeco has issues with its servers for a long time. They are actually not focusing on fixing this issue even.
So set up your device as a new one. Hope this helps.
If you have twrp, or can boot into twrp via Fastboot, use the twrp file manager to rename the apk in /system/app/letvaccount to a .zip file. Although then you'll either have to flash a custom kernel or root your rom otherwise dm-verify in stock kernel will prevent booting with a modified /system partition

I should have suggested this first, sometimes setting region as mainland China will resolve server issues. If this doesnt work you'll also have to connect through a Chinese proxy
I've got TWRP installed and the phone rooted but after a real long serch I didn't find any compatible custom ROM for it ... I really want to get a stock Android build on it ZenUI sucks! and for the record I've found a port of lineage 13 on 4PDA but the wifi doesn't work.

i'm stuck on rooting my Zenfone ZB500KL (X00AD)

Actually I have Asus ZB500KL (X00AD) with Android 6 installed (stock ROM).
Is there an Android 7/8 version available?
I found something...LineageOS and Cyanogenmod but the model ZB500KL is not listed in ROM description (there are similar models).
Help!
Stefano
I GOt cm 14.1, cm 12 for zb500kl....but i dont know how to insert or add more app on the rom...how to edit custom rom on qualcomm or ceangemod rom?
I've tried MIUI 12 and 13, they're both trash!! There must be some shortage for each version!! Even the last version of MIUI 12!! Come on Xiaomi!!
Actually I like the hardware, but the OS???!!!
Any body could give me a suggestion for which OS is the most stable??
MMX custom rom, debloated, still based on MIUI
i m Wait pixel experience stock rom without root.
If u want performace, i will suggest oxygen os or if u have a low end phone, you can try roms of other devices having same chipset as yours. but u need to modify them a bit.
MIUI is terrible, yeah.
I recently switched to PixelExperience GSI and it's pretty good.
Auto brightness is a bit finicky and logging into your Google account can be annoying if you use SMS for 2FA, because SMS don't work by default (it's just one switch in settings).
But there are no crashes and it's way less buggy than stock.

GSIs (Generic System Images) are universal for all devices supporting Treble. All devices released with Android 9 and later are required to support it.
"Classic" ROMs are built for specific device only.
Here's a guide on how to install one:

I´m having crashes and reboots like every hour since I got MIUI 12.5
Does anyone else have this problem?
Would you recommend to flash the firmware again or to go with a Custom Rom?

Never had this problem with this version.
Try to reset the phone.
Flash firmware with Miflash.
Flash a Xiaomi EU rom.
Waiting for paranoid for 11tpro, as of now magisk is not working normal so switched to Stock OS
If I were you, I prefer flash custom rom like: Xiaomi.EU
Much more stable!!
Hello,
after two month of normal using without any experiments or flashing / rooting my Redmi Note 11 stuck in an endless bootloop similar as descriped here: Xiaomi Note 11 stuck to rebooting into recovery mode 5.0 after unlocking the screen
I was not able to do any recovery so I ended up to wipe all data and now the phone is booting normal and can be used again.
But befor I'm going to start setting up my phone again from the scratch (because Google backup did not work) I would prefer to use a custom rom without all of these ****ty MUI apps like cloud, video and pdf viewer and round about 7 billion other apps which are anoying me with endless popup messages and registration requests.
This will be my first try to install a custom rom but I already found this tutorial: [GUIDE] How To Install A Custom Rom On Redmi Note 11
First of all thanks for the work of this tutorial I think this will help me doing the first steps.
So here is the question:
Is there any working stock Android 13 custom rom for the Redmi Note 11 without any unneccessary extra stuff?
seems that crDroid could be close to what I want: [ROM][OFFICIAL][12.1-13.0] crDroidAndroid 8.x - 9.x [SPES|SPESN]
what would you suggest to me?
thanks and regards
Stefan
Hi Stefen,
Seeing as how long it has taken Xiaomi to get Android 12 to our devices via OTA, and even there it appears most have STILL not recieved A12 via ota and have had to force the update...
It's unlikely we'll see Android 13 / A13 anytime soon.... I reckon we won't see stock Android 13 for at least another year or more...
Not to say we won't get it, as our devices are supposedly supported to A13 and Miui 14.... but based on timescales, we're a long way off yet...
Cheers, Lister
ah ok, thanks for the clarification. I thought Android 13 is possible yet.
So I guess the right question is: is there a clean stock Android 12 for the phone?
Hi Stefan,
No probs, depends on you're build of current official stock rom. The easiest way to find out, is download the Miui Downloader from PlayStore.
Then head to this page, and find the appropriate rom for your current rom.
This Windows app, will also help you find what you need....
Thanks, Lister
I think the xiaomi.eu roms are debloated but it's still miui

Xiaomi.eu performs better than stock MIUI but worse than AOSP custom ROMs. Based on my experience with 13.0,5, it took almost a minute to boot whereas with Evo X 13 and PE+13, it boots half a minute
