It's been a while since I've had a Note, is the process for flashing the generic UK firmware any different lately? Anything I need to know before attempting a change?
Thanks

Hi all
I could have a T-Mobile branded Galaxy S. Is it possible to just replace it with the original unbranded firmware from samsung?
Cheers

In short: yes
The only thing you need to look out for is the sim-lock. Unlock your phone before you try and you should be fine. I had a 3 UK branded phone and flashed the generic firmware without any problems.
P.s. use search
Thank you I used search but specificly on T-Mobile which was probably stoopid. The seller claims that it doesn't have a simlock so I think I will go for that
I’m getting a note 9 which was sold by Three (3) so I’m guessing it has the H3G firmware.
I’m with EE and ordinarily I’d flash the EVR firmware on older phones but VoLTE and WiFi calling seem not to be dependent on having their own firmware any more.
So question is, do I flash btu or xeu for fastest updates?
Thanks.
Good evening,
Some help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a Note 9 (unlocked) from Three UK, and for various reasons I'd like to remove the carrier firmware and switch to the factory Samsung software (I've noticed several bugs and slowdowns and want to rule out the branded firmware).
I don't have access to a PC so i'm hoping I can do this with JOdin3 on my Mac.
My phone is version N960FXXU2CRLT
Can anyone help me with the correct unbranded files for the UK, and whether this is still possible to do on Mac?

So your one ONE UI PIE 9 ? You will need this firmware BTU as that's unbranded see this link sammoble sucks link! https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy/SM-N960F/BTU/
Thanks. Does it matter that the phone version is different?
(Mine ends CRLT)
I assume that once done, I'll be able to update OTA as normal?
Hi there, there is a lot of generic firmware, or OXM firmware, but doesn't matter which one I flash I always get Telestra, even tho original CSC was TIM, I can easly flash it with with network branded firmware and csc changes, but OXM always comes up as Telestra. Does anybody know a firmware that will give me generick uk or germany? Or is there a way to change csc through AT commands ?
Tia
I live in the UK and I purchased my Samsung Galaxy S10 SM-G973F from Amazon. I still do not have the Android 12 update and when I looked at my phone I found that the Country Code is AUT which I am told is Switzerland. I have had the phone a while and have had updates previously but Android 12 is not one of them
I have tried to do a software update on the phone and using Smart Switch on my PC but both say my software is Android 11 and that it is up to date.
I see on the internet posts suggesting the CSC on android phones can be changed but I have tried several methods without success and they are for specific models and I can't find one specifically for the S10.
I have rooted several of my phones in the past but would prefer not having to root this one.
Does anyone know how I can change my CSC to BTU. Can I just Odin install the latest Official Samsung Android 12 UK firmware to change it or would that not work?
Also I have used the Phone info app and that states that the Firmware CSC Code is BTU and the Active CSC Code is XEU?
Would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks
