Hey guys, at the moment i have a Tuvva KSD7813 Head unit which has a HDMI input and USB for MHL, however my problem at the moment is that my Galaxy S8+ doesn't support MHL, nor does the 2016 Galaxy J5 i use for music in the car.
I've tried using Crankshaft on a mate's Raspberry Pi which seems to run fine on the HDMI input to the stereo, however it doesn't recognize the touch screen just on HDMI alone and i don't think Crankshaft will have coding to recognize touch gestures etc coming from USB as a USB keyboard and mouse showed no results.
So i was wondering if anyone on here could think of anything else to try to get AA running on this particular stereo, at least until i can afford a decent Pioneer head unit in future.

Hopefully someone can come up with some ideas

Hey XDA, I have been searching all over the web for this but can't find anything.
Is it possible to use the galaxy camera micro HDMI to connect to a touch screen monitor? I have no idea if HDMI has the capability of outputting touch signals as well as video and sound. I have looked at a couple of touch monitor options, often what I see is that they need usb input.
I found this monitor on ebay that has a controller board for touch input however it is more tailored towards the raspberry pi.
HDMI input LCD controller board+7inch 800x480 AT070TN92 lcd with touch panel
On the other hand I could get something like this which is designed for use in your car. The problem is that phones use their USB port which has MHL for use with these products. Which makes me think that straight micro HDMI to HDMI will not transfer the touch input into these controllers.
customgadz - OEM with Touch
Model UM-MM13-WT
or this one
customgadz - 7" USB capacitive touchscreen Monitor
Model MC-T070-KC12
This one might just be a HDMI monitor.
Any help you guys can give me would be great. I just can't wrap my head around this problem.
Also apologies if this is posted in the wrong spot, if so please give me the URL to the correct forum.
Hello everyone,
I bought the Moko Bluetooth keyboard to use together with my Fire7 (2017).
On its own, it's working fine.
I would like to use a bt mouse too. I tested an Apple Magic Mouse with it and what I got is constant connection/disconnection from the keyboard, while the mouse is working (almost) fine.
Does anybody know if this is an Magic Mouse related issue or if Fire7 cannot handle "this much" bluetooth activity?
Also, anyone with experience connecting a USB mouse to the Fire7 through a USB to MicroUSB adapter?
Thanks in advance,

I haven't. Suspect it is a defect. Otherwise try factory reset or to the extreme a whole stock image reset
Thanks, I'll try with other bt devices to see if I ccan replicate the issue.
In the meantime, my old logitech usb mouse is working like a charm through a cheap usb to microusb adapter.
I red one review that Samsung adaptor to USB C to HDMI supports 1080 resolution however any other 3rd party will do 720 resolution.
Is this true? I dont see how any modern adaptor can be restricted to 720 only?
I have a Startech.com adapter that works just find. My only issue is that when I pair my Microsoft Surface Arc Touch SE bluetooth mouse, it does not work, even though it is paired. Using the Note 9 as a touchpad works, but it cuts out from time to time in regards to registering my movement.
I get 1080p resolution when I connected through a generic type c hub. There's a greyed out option for 2560*1440 though.
Can anyone confirm the samsung dex dongle provides 2560x1440? If it doesn't, I'll just buy a generic one.
Anyone else have issues connecting certain mice to this phone via bluetooth? Kind of bummed my Arc Touch mouse won't work (pairs but shows as a keyboard and not a mouse), especially since it fits in my padfolio better.
I'm trying to build my own set up out of stuff I happen to have laying around. My car radio is a JVC KW-V30BT that is MHL compatible and I have a s4 active (i537). So far I installed a nice launcher on the phone that gives me a digital speedo and navigation and music... With the JVC Smartphone Control app I don't have to touch the phone at all, I just leave the phone hooked up in the car and control the phone with the touchscreen on the radio. But after getting all that figured out I kinda have another idea.. Is there a way to mirror/cast another device to my s4 while it's hooked up with the mhl cable? When I try it says disconnect mhl cable first. There has to be a way... Any help would be appreciated! S4A has rooted OC7 and I use my daily phone (CAT S60) as a wifi hotspot for data connection. So I thought maybe I could use Allcast or something but it won't let me while it's hooked up with the MHL cable. Does anyone know if this is a hardware or software limitation?
Hi,
I want to connect my android tv box (XIAOMI MI BOX) to android auto car.
For this purpose, I'm looking for some way to stream video from hdmi, may be using some "HDMI TO USB ADAPTER" or similar device.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Nothing to do with Android Auto, but assuming you have RCA(Yellow) video input, you can get HDMI to RCA converts and just use the aux in. If you really mean using AA, then I'm guessing you'd need to root and try to install AA mirror. I doubt HDMI to USB video would work.
