XT862 doesn't have that in "about".
XT862 is the American/Verizon version.

This is my phone. So I'm reasonably sure that now has that field and that is an xt862.

Theres an Webtop application also, just seen on titanium backup(xt883)

there are dock.apk and smartdock.apk but are present on the verizon rom too

Could just be for the car dock, or the media dock thing. I think what we need is webtop.apk

BTW in the atric room there are a lot of needed files posted, we should experimenting with them.
BTW my HD monitor doesent have an HDMI port, so for me doing some testing is impossible...

Yes the only change I've got is when on an app page you now see a facebook button to share the app directly on facebook.

Well, it'll only update new elements on your currently installed apps. It'll save bandwidth and will update fast on slow connections. This update is also going to be rolled out for Gingerbread.

If you click the little arrow pointing to the right beside cruzin's name in the quote, it will take you to the post you quoted.....

What arrow are you referig to? And I told you I copied and pasted so it obviously will if it was in the original post

Great ressource! I'm on Cyanogenmod10 and wifi tethering connects, but no internet is transmitted. Will try this as soon as I get home!

Yes, the problem probably is somewhere else. Is it possible that cyanogenmod is made for the AT&T version and because that I'm on Rogers in Canada tethering doesn't work?

Update will fail if you are rooted.

it will fail if your system files have changed at all. that means if you get an ota while rooted, it will fail 100% of the time.

Anyone have any idea what this update is?

If you put in different sim than device was flashed too it probably trying to update to correct version. ie:T-Mobile or Project FI.

I have a tmo sim In there.. I purchased from amazon, that's probably what it is.. I guess I need to restore to stock, update, then root it again.

Figured it was TMO. Yea, Need to just fastboot flash the 5.1.1 TMO E image. No need to ever do an OTA if gonna be rooted. Just fastboot the image and be done.

Not quite sure how to fast boot an Image. But I'll search for it. I. Guessing that I need to use the nexus toolkit for that, not twrp.

It is from dubai. Something strange is in the box it was written n9208. But on the phone On download mode was n9208dx.

I just got this phone too, N9208DX and I tried to flash 4 different N9208 files but it won't let me flash, always failed. Can I ask you which file did you flash that worked?
