Hello,
as per the title;
N950N 512gb ocean blue
1x grey spen (in the phone)
1x yellow spen (in a yellow box with papers and a clear tpu case)
do all note 9s have 2 pens?
a quick google search did not yield any details.
Just one Lavender spen in the phone SMN-960U1 512GB unlocked made in Vietnam. I got the Lavender because I didn't like the yellow pen. Would have considered blue if grey spen was advertised.

My USA model one s pen.

In Korea, they have "Special Edition" 512GB models.
Ocean Blue and Lavender, which both come with 2 S-pens and the jelly case.
In Philippines, 512GB has only one color. Midnight Blue. and only one yellow S pen.
Australia only got 1 s-pen.
You can buy an ocean blue s-pen in Korea though.
So friends have told me.
Actually, it looks more grey then blue
I´ve got mine (128GB - Ocean blue) in Germany with only 1 S-pen.

but this time around i did get a goodie. them pens are probably not cheap..speacially with the built in bluetooth....

My Wife got one Yellow S Pen in her Snapdragon 128GB Note 9
I got a Black SPEN in my 128BB Exynos model.
Funny thing - I tried using the Yellow S Pen on my Black phone and the Yellow S PEN wrote in WHITE on my Black Note 9. It wrote in Yellow on the Ocean Blue Note 9. I wonder if the color of the SPEN is detemrined by the PHONE not the SPEN?

gonna check the color tonight. And from the looks of it, 'pen pairing' is done by simply docking it in the note 9. this will deactivate the other ben. i was kind if hoping being able to use them both or to leave one in and use the other as a remote....

I could use either pen - in the Exynyos (Black) phone - the Yellow Pen wrote white. That is what I thought was weird. It wrote Yellow on the BLUE PHONE but when I plugged it into the Black Phone and then used it for screen write, the pen wrote in white, not yellow.

No, its much larger then the Note 2.
Here is a comparison for all three since I have them..
In size order: Galaxy Note 2 < Galaxy Note 10.1 < Samsung Pen w/ Eraser
How about this one?
http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/ET-S200EBEGSTA
Check this s pen features on the website, in the easy storage bold.
One more thing. How does the pen with eraser work compare to the stock on Note 2?
Smoother, easier?

Thanks for the pics. They certainly clarified the misinformation from Samsung's website regarding this "Durable, plastic body storable and concealed inside of the Galaxy Note II handset" according to the features section in their website.
What is the difference between that one and this one on ebay?

THey are both s pen with eraser but I notice the button on both of the pens are different. The one on samsung website has a dot on its button while the one on ebay doesn't. They are both clarified as 8pi. Anybody know what does that mean? The stock pen on note 2 is 5pi I think

No idea what 5/8pi mean. I've used Wacom tablets for years and I've never heard any statistic quoted as Xpi.
As far as the difference I've been trying to figure that out as well. I think it may just come down to marketing; if you search for "s pen with eraser" on Amazon one of the first couple results is the same one seen at those eBay sellers, except the item description includes a box shot. On there you can see that the pen is clearly branded as for the Note 10.1, while the one on Samsung's store is branded for the Note II. My guess is that they originally developed the eraser pen for the 10.1, never launched it outside a few countries, and then redesigned the looks slightly for the Note II.
Someone would need to test both of them but I'd strongly suspect that they're functionally identical. On top of that, there's this: (http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/laptops-accessories/AA-DP0NE2B/US which I believe is the pen for the Samsung Series 7 Slate. Looks extremely similar, and on Amazon I see that most of the reviews are from people who purchased it to use with the 10.1.

Not an upgrade, more like a lateral move or slight downgrade. Some S6's are apparently using Samsung's ISOCELL for the rear camera.
I got a white 64GB standard S6, day 1 with Sony rear and Samsung front.

I have sony on rear like the others here - what is the difference for those that have Samsung? is there a major difference? I assume Sony is better?
Difference isn't major at all IMO. ISOCELL was shown to be slightly better (not by much) in low light, and doesn't have that yellowish/orange tint in white balance
Sent from my XT1095 using XDA Free mobile app
From what I have been reading, Sony can't produce enough sensors quick enough! Even the new LG G4 is using an in house sensor but it's supposed to be top notch so we shall see... With all of these newer companies that are bringing out mid tier phones that are under $350 there is a HUGE demand for Sony to produce sensors and they are all using them.
Ordered 128gb gold platinum on April 10th and it has a Samsung isocell rear camera

I really liked the white balance fix they had on the ISOCELL model. I expect them to fix it for all models in the next update, sometimes the White Balance is just so far off.
I actually preferred the Sony in the pics on Sammobile. The ISOCELL model was oversharpened like the Note 4 and S5 do. I prefer the softer more realistic less artifacty Sony pics, but thats just personal preference.
I've got Samsung front and back.
128Gb Black S6
64GB Black S6, ordered March 27th, delivered April 1st. Sony sensor.
Black 64gb S6 920T, has Sony Rear Samsung Front. Purchased tonight in store 5/13/15
I ordered in a T-Mobile store during the double memory promo for a 128 GB platinum gold. I guess I've got Samsung front and rear?
I'm currently on a Coral Blue S7 Edge but with the new Infinity Display i kinda get the feeling black would be the best seeing as the front is black too.

Black is boring.
Orchid gray is purple and too girly
I have a maple gold S8 plus and its okay..prefer the gold on the note 7 and s7s

Sure you can get the blue international unlocked version but it would only work on GSM providers like T-Mobile or AT&T. No CDMA so won't work on Verizon.

Same colour options options here in Southern Europe. I have also opted for the black. My SGS8+ is also black so I wanted a change but the maple gold is rather 'bling bling' on a mobile that size plus the camera set up is all black and not in matching gold as previous iterations have been.
My choice would be a deep burgundy but................:crying:
Black it is. No matter as its going in a case for protection then in a shocksock attached to my trousers so I can't drop it nor get pick pocketed.
Lot of money.............serious cash!

I am right there with you...im so PISSED about the color options here. Canada is even getting BLUE. like WTF. so far I only seen the unlocked option in black. I really don't want black and the orchid grey I'm not to sure about. I heard its really different looking then the s8 orchid grey so I might have to see in person. I was also thinking since the back is really the biggest difference, buying a blue back and having it put on. just not sure how I would keep the ip68 (if I can get the special adhesive). if I knew they would eventually release it in blue in the US, I would wait it out. I wish I could kick Samsung in the balls right now.

How will will it work on the GSM's? I have t mobile and my consider this but now sure how exactly well it will work(drop calls, LTE, etc). I never used an international phone in the US before. I know people do it but not sure of the pros and cons. also any place to buy it other then ebay? I don't see the international ones on samsungs website. I would hate to get screwed into getting a clone note 8 or something.

It will work like any other handset. The Note 8 international version (SM-N950F) will support T-Mobile LTE bands 2,4 and 12 so 4G will work just fine. The only potential downside is that it won't support the higher frequency band 66 which T-Mobile is currently rolling out in large cities to deal with network congestion. Another con is VoLTE and WiFi calling may not work without flashing ROMs or rooting but that's the case for many non carrier handsets. A big upside besides color selection is that the Exynos chipsets in the international Samsung handsets have historically had much better battery life than the Snapdragons in the U.S versions.
And you can definitely get them on Amazon instead of eBay. Just search by model number. For example for the S8+ international version search G955f on Amazon.
Also a big con is your warranty won't be valid in the US. I've never had to use my warranty but it's something to consider

i know from the past that they have a few different unlocked variants. all the ones ending in f will work with LTE.
i just wish i could buy it from Samsung and get the 425 discount since i checked my eligibility today.
Black one for me. Don't like the way the camera stands out like sore thumb on other colors besides black.
Midnight Black for me this time.
I went with the Coral Blue Note7 last time it looked unusual.
Plus we are all going to be using cases, so does the colour really matter nowadays?
What I really want is a transparent phone, like the gameboys back in the day.

Agreed that the color doesn't really matter as the phone is virtually impossible to use without a case. That said, I bet a silver S-Pen would look great with an Ocean Blue Note 9. If you want an OEM silver look, Samsung's Rugged Protective Cover in Silver or dark metallic gray looks great.
Only color I miss is white., Failing that black always wins.

Very good question........
This is one area Samsung would do well to mimic their main competitor, seems to have served 'em well & will no doubt sell a boatload or two of their latest offerings.
Samsung sales have gradually slipped the past 3 years, the trickle release of color variants, scattered availability of such dependent upon region,is nonsensical & is helping no one..
I'm diggin' my Note 9,but,offering all color options at launch,TO ALL MARKETS, would be a nice start in what will likely be a refresh for next year's models.........
