Hi,
I'm facing with strange issue with my mi8 SE. MIUI 9.5.11.0 (OECNFA).
In the most of time I start the game (Asphalt, Fate Grand/Order), the game loading sooooo slow, it take long time to go to game start menu.
Game running okay while playing. The slow only happne when at the start.
Sometime, the game run smooth and loading fast as it should be.
This issue still happen even I wipe data (I bricked the phone after "pm uninstall --user 0" some app and turn off MIUI optimization in Developer option)
So I don't know what's wrong with my mi8SE. My Redmi4Prime with same EMMC storage is loading faster at the start.
I will unlock BL after 48 hours but still want to ask if someone facing this issue. Is the phone fault? Or any solution in case I install another ROMand nothing changes.
Thanks.
:fingers-crossed:
Hi,
so did you manage to solve the loading issue ?
I'm using a xiaomi mi 8 se with the same miui version as you and my FGO(JP) still not working very well at load screen
Any solutions ?
Thanks

Hello,
For the last 6 months or so, I've experienced many lag issues with my device. At the begging, I had a CM11 ROM installed on my phone, so I decided to revert back to the V20B official european firmware because I thought those lags were related to the ROM. But nothing changed, and as of today I still have responsiveness issues.
This lag issue appears from time to time, and makes my device basically unusable. It feels like the whole CPU is hogged by an application, or like I underclocked my device to 53mhz on purpose. During these lags, trying to wake up my device will take up to 5 seconds, and navigating the main screen will be nearly impossible. Also, my phone will get very hot which would imply that my CPU is indeed used by an application. Sometime the issue will disappear by itself after a few minutes, but I usually reboot the device which temporarily fixes the problem.
I have tried to disable LG MLT, and I think it helped but the lag still occasionally occurs.
I don't really use third party applications either.
I think these lags might be related to the Google Chrome browser, but it doesn't make any sense as it is an official app.
Anyway if any of you have an idea on how to fix the issue or how to find the application/service/whatever hogging the CPU I'd be grateful
Thanks !
I did experience such lags in CM11 after a few days of usage. But talking about stock, these freezes sound bit weird. You might want to check your installed apps.Download watchdog lite from play store and let it watch on agressive mode. Also check if your phone is hot when these freezes occur, might be the throttling kicking in.
I also experienced this kind of lags due to bad gapps I had installed back in the day, though stock ROM comes with gapps so it's not that.
Thanks for your reply,
I installed Watch dog lite and I'm now waiting for an alert. I hope it will give me the name of the culprit
If you are rooted which i assume you are. You can try app from playstore called "lagfix" (fstrim)
Sometimes really helps. Sometimes it doesn't
I have realme X2 pro CN Version I'm on RMX1931_11_A13
there is a problem in charge it give me unreal numbers and take much time on charging
so i tried to ask realme they tell me it's impossible for me to do it
can anyone help me how to downgrade to at least A12?
I feel that too
It turns out I'm not the only one who feels this problem.
On the realme official website doesn't give us the choice to choose.
We can only download the most recent firmware.
Im just hope Realme can do something fast about this .
I'm sure realme hear complaints from their customers well .
u can do it with unlocking bootloader and install TWRP
I Found the solution
I found a solution to the problem of overheat and battery drain. It turned out to be quite simple, uninstall all the applications that you have installed, then install again. Or maybe it can be called reinstal.
After I upgraded to Android 10, I tried to play some games and I felt a tremendous overheat.
But when I install another game after upgrading, I don't feel any overheating problems.
Then I tried to reinstall the game that I had previously played, but there was no overheating problem anymore.
NB: the game that I reinstalled is chess rush, and the game that I installed after the upgrade is asphalt 9.
And sorry for my bad english .
At least i tried, right?
Hope it helps

Hello,
I have Redmi Note 10S with official MIUI system and all current updates. Actually since the beginning I had issues with Chrome browser which was crashing and rebooting the whole phone. I thought it was an issue with the browser itself so I tried different one. Unfortunately on Firefox it was crashing and tebooting the phone too. The only browser, which works fine is the one provided with MIUI. I tried with cache cleanup and browser data removal. But because it happens on two indepented browsers it must be something on Android (Android System WebView?) used by both browser. Can you help me?
is it for some special page?
im using chrome beta from the beginning without problems.
can you do adb logcat? it would be great to see what error do you have
No it seems to be random. It can work for days and then suddenly crash. I will try with logcat but the randomness can be a problem.
but rebooting whole phone is not possible by application crash. it is usually HW problem.
me as a developer to reboot device, i need to have root.
there is no function to reboot phone.
so maybe try some benchmark app to see if there is no hw problem
I have checked with Geekbech 5 and it works both for CPU benchmark and Compute Benchamark (OpenCL). And just to clarify because I'm not sure if reboot is a proper word. When loading some website in the browser the screen goes black and the phone is turning on like it was switched off. I would compare it to BSOD on Windows.
is there whole boot? or just immediately pin screen?
still had no issue like this
The screen goes suddenly black and then the MIUI is starting to load. It is exactly the same process as you would press longer power button and selected Reboot option. But it just happens randomly without user interaction when using Chrome or Firefox.
I tried with logcat but so far without success. The browser didn't want to crash this time.
I've had the 11t pro for a little more than 2 months and even though it's not the best device out there, it does a pretty good job for a budge phone with such specs(in my opinion)
a few things I've noticed and not sure if others share the same frustration are:
after upgrading to miui 13.0.4 I noticed in top left corner (mic/cam)icons that show up when I open any app using them...any way to disable them?
when playing a game, I noticed phone sometimes lags so badly(though it's not a demanding game, visual wise) and I can't even have a whatsapp video call while playing without phone going terribly slow until I end the game.
sometimes out of the blue, the phone becomes super laggy even with no apps running, and I can't figure out what is causing it, so I end up restarting it.
if anyone has noticed anything else or has got any tips/tricks please share
p.s: is it doable to flash an eu rom on a device with global rom? I was told difference between both is google pay on european which doesn't exist on global, but I have it on mine.

The mic and camera icons is an Android 12 security feature to let you know when you might be listened to or seen, and I don't think it can be removed.
No idea regarding the game and slow downs. Sometimes with a major version change it is better to factory reset and set up from scratch, so that might help.
Yes you can flash different ROMs from other regions. The IMPORTANT thing is if your device came with a Global ROM and you unlock your bootloader and flash the Europe ROM, then you must not lock the bootloader again, if you do it will brick your device. You can put back the original Global ROM then lock again.
Hope that help.s

After updating from 12.5.21 to 13.0.9 I have experienced lags in various situation as well. After that I unlocked bootloader and flashed xiaomi.eu 13.0.4, but it's not much better. Now I'm thinking about downgrading to xiaomi.eu 12.5.10 or stock 12.5.21, that worked very well.

I use xiaomi Eu rom without any problem.
it is preferable for the first installation to use the script "windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format" then for the updates"windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat".

I know that It was clean installation. On stock with MIUI 13 I had the same problems.
I'm now on version 13.0.9, jumped to this version from 12, clean installation. What I'm finding is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turnoff around 23:30 each night, this seems to be some deliberate power saving function when the phone detects the person is likely asleep, and I can see in my access point log exactly when Wi-Fi disassociates and turns off, only turning on again in the morning when I unlock the phone. This may be related to having DND turned on using the schedule option, this is set from 22:00, but I have this set to still be disturbed by my contacts, so need Wi-Fi to remain connected. This all worked fine on version 12.
I can't see any settings under Wi-Fi or battery management to disable this. Anyone else seeing the same thing or have a solution?

Did some more Googling, found others having the exact same issue, see
https://www.reddit.com/r/miui/comments/tlxjjh
Appears to be a deliberate power saving feature, where the option to disable it, due to a bug or oversight, isn't available.
What is it with Xiaomi and their excessive battery saving modes.
wouldn't you find it under battery settings?

That appears to be the bug in that the options to disable it are missing. There are no settings anywhere to disable it.
