Hey, I'm new to xda so I might make a few mistakes in wording.
So since I updated my a8+ 2018 to Oreo it has been rebooting randomly when I'm gaming (I mainly play roblox cause I'm broke) So if some one could help me to solve this problem I would appreciate it greatly. I didn't know where to post this so I'm posting it here btw.
Thanks in advance,
Dwayne

I need a ROM with the best battery, with corrected google fixes which do you recommend me?
Lock boot z3c
Thanks

Z3C is obsolete.
From a noob user, me, stand point we need Google to run as properly these day or otherwise you carry a lesser smart phone working for you. I don't see it productive to spend 2017 onward correcting google fixes for it.
Since this is XDA there are MANY solutions for us users! Micro G. This will replace the real G if that's the one maybe bugging you. To experience Micro G on your Z3C start you're learning here:

Hey everyone,
After taking the update to the closed beta OneUI for the TMO Note 8, my friends have been reporting my videos on Snapchat show up as a black screen. I tried downgrading from the beta Snapchat to regular Snapchat, and re-applying camera permissions as well.
I also noticed that Snapchat is aware of this issue for some users. It's just odd that it just started occurring for me.
What gives?
Not sure how to fix this issue... Besides the last resort, downgrading back to Oreo December Security Patch.
Thanks for any help and Merry Christmas Eve!
One word, beta.

That is exactly the risk you must accept when trying beta version of any app or firmware, you in turn should send a report to the developer team, that is why betas are released, so the bugs or errors can be fixed, you just found something worth of a feedback
Yeah, I figured. Totally get that, I accept I accept! This is just one of the first times a bug is affecting my personal use case and I can't seem to fix it myself. I'll just stick to pictures until it gets ironed out. Thanks guys!
Hi,
Firstly, i would thank all dev of this forum. You're making a greaaaat job, and i love it !! Thank you very much guys !!
Secondly, I love my SG3 (GT I9305), and i was wondering if we can hope an update based on android 8 or 9 for this phone ?
I sadly realize that the update is only available on GT I9300......
Kind regards
Cedric
No hope at all... If you search this forum you'll recognise that this has already been lengthly discussed. We're still using the i9305 daily but on RR-Nougat, which is prefectly running thanks to @rodman01.
ripee (member of teamfusion and others) contacted me a few weeks ago and asked about making the i9305 ready for oreo or pie. We texted a few and I/we made new updated device sources, compiled pie roms but unfortunately still the same: No sim card and no ril. All other is running surprisingly not too bad, and this with nearly no bug fixes or special modifications. But regarding to a possible fix for ril: no further ideas as for now. Also comicox did a few efforts to get the t0lte to run, but also with this device: no sim card and no ril, which didn't surprised me much, to be honest. He is at holiday at the moment and or but he stated: "At some point it must work". Well, lets say: we will see. From my point of view, it is and remains difficult, maybe even impossible. Hello first time poster here, but my question is about the issue with voice over LTE in the pie ROMs. I know its been answered before with it being the IMS issue if I am correct but looking at the thread that gave the answer I guess I didn't see a post that elaborated a bit more on it. My question is what about it in the coding , is causing the issue? I'm nowhere near a software expert but I know enough to understand the verbiage and with that I'm asking the devs here what has been hard to crack that IMS issue? I'm only asking cause I really enjoy the pie ROMs all you devs have done a fantastic job keeping this phone alive but with me being a Verizon user I know I'm doomed eventually once they cut CDMA and I hate the 18:9 phones so its hard to want to upgrade . has anyone been close to finding a solution on this ? Either way thank you all for your time in keeping this phone alive .

IMS depends on proprietary apps and binaries. The last ones we have are from android 7 and don't work on Android 9 anymore as a lot of stuff has changed.
But somebody made some progress adapting the IMS.apk lately :https://github.com/eErenYeager/ims_apk
Thanks for your answer

Thank you for that answer. It makes a lot more sense to me and if it ended at 7 I can see how it survived to 8.1 with its similarities to nougat but I hope the progress is made with adapting that new IMS for legacy devices . I also own an lg v30 but I'm back on the shamu cause I really do hate the 18:9 how dare they say the v30 6 inch is a true 6 inch like a nexus lol, but their aosp ROMs had issues with volte as well so that's why I was curious cause at first I thought it was an issue of 32bit vs 64bit . again thank you for the response.

Will there be a forum for the Galaxy m21s? I don't know in how many countries it was released, but I never saw it being talked about in XDA.

Not sure if this helps, but here ya go.
Hi Guys. I need some help with my M21S.
I have two cellphones. A M21S with magisk root and Xiaomi Mi A3 without root.
I bought a sansung tv and I was trying to use the app called "Smart Things" to connect the TV to the smartphone.
The problem is: Xiaomi Mi A3 see the app on play store but M21S dont.
Investigating a little bit about the problem, I saw a lot of users suggesting a lot of thing like clear cache, register my google account again, update my playstore and/or my android.... But nothing works.
Here is the deal: i dont let my android update, at all. I dont like updates. They just slows the cellphone and consume a lot of battery.
After a while, comparing the issue with other issues i Had with Aptoide and APKpure for the last years I realized that the problem is: some apps updates are modifiing by its developers to not work on old versions of android and I realy think this is the problem here.
So, in order to solve the problem I have to update my android. But I Reeeeeeally dont want to do that.
So the question is: is there any way of bypass the version cheking sistem of apps? Or there is a way of solving this problem without updating my android version?
Android Version: 11
One UI Core version: 3.1
Model: galax M21s (SM-F415F)
Thaks a lot.
