I have installed TWRP and then wipe everything(including Internal Storage accidentally). I installed xiaomi.eu stable rom and phone stuck at MI android screen. Then try xiaomi.eu beta rom it is same.
What should I do?
If you have unlocked BL use mi flash to flash stock rom
Flash stock rom using miflash 2018 (portable) since your bootloader is unlocked, make sure you choose clean all, DON'T choose clean all and lock at the bottom of miflash screen before you flash the rom, other wise your device will be bricked.

Thanks, it worked, I solved it by installing rom with fastboot and I know why TWRP doesn't work. Because of encryption. https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/universal-dm-verity-forceencrypt-t3817389

hello: this maybe a newbie question, but how do you flash back to the factory rom in case I bork the custom rom install? With factory recovery of course.
I imagine there must be an official way to flash back the rom, but I downloaded a PC suite tool from miui.com, and it wouldn't read my CC9 when connected. Weird.
I also found online that there's a chinese version and a global version of the CC9 official MIUI rom. What's the global version? Was it meant for Mi9 Lite?
Thanks for any input.
If you unlocked bootloader ,then you can flash old ROMs. Otherwise you can't.
I unlocked it. But i dont know what the official method/software is for flashing back to factory spec. I now have twrp and xiaomi.eu and just want to know how to get back to factory rom and recovery. Tks
Download mi flash tool or flash tool pro.
Now install them and driver also.
Download mi cc 9 latest fastoot rom
Unzipped the rom.
Now open mi flash tool and load the unzipped folder
Turn off your device and press power + volume down for bootloader.
Now connect via usb cable.
Click on flah botton and wait until 100% complete.
Your device will be on after successfully flashed
Im new to flashing custom roms and xda developers.
I tried flashing from a lineage to a miui global rom and I think it got bricked. At the stage where you first set up the phone, at the phase where it shows to wait while preparing device it's stuck in a bootloop. I cant go into twrp recovery since flashing a miui removes twrp, and i cant do anything through usb debugging bcause I cant go past this phase to activate it.
can anyone help?
Download a fastboot ROM and flash it using miflash tool. Make sure in bottom right corner you UNCHECK the CLEAN ALL AND LOCK box, only check on CLEAN ALL only.

i had to flash global rom again because it wasnt booting after root. today i received ota update and now it displays the message the system has been destroyed.
bootloader is locked after flash. my computer still recognizes my phone and i can unlock after 83 hours.
my question is is it possible to flash rom after unlocking bootloader or not? or do i need to i need to follow another method?
i managed to fix my phone using the mi unlock tool and unlocking the bootloader.
one problem that im having is installing magisk. i managed to install twrp but everytime i try to install magisk 2.0.1 i get bootlooped to twrp. i cant boot to android. any help?
Either u can clean install whole system or use magisk manager for recovery to delete all the modules u had(I haven't tried tho ) or clean flash boot.img from latest fastboot rom.

After trying out two custom roms and running into little bugs that make me pretty nervous, I thought about going back to the official MIUI 12 global.
Is it possible or is there a possibility of brick? It would be enough to put the rom and the vendor and flash them from twrp, making the corresponding wipes?
Do I need the vendor or just the rom is enough?
It won't brick you just have to format data going to and from custom rom and miui with encrypted storage (not using dfe) or your data will be encrypted. Then just wipe the partions and move miui rom to phone from PC and flash, miui has vendor included in the rom
May do a fastboot flash with clean all. Careful not to lock your bootloader.

Using Mi Flash Tool
Mi 9T Pro ll Tapatalk
Hi All, it's time i clean up my K20 Pro as i have upgraded to a F2 Pro.
The K20 Pro has MIUI 10.3.17 CN ROM from about 10 months ago, bootloader unlocked, magisk etc.
When trying to miflash it with a MIUI 12.0.5 CN latest fastboot rom in order to get back to factory, the progress bar completes in 1 second, and status is green and success, BUT the phone does not reboot itself. Using miflash 20181115 with clean all option.
After i unplug phone and reboot it manually nothing was flashed - everything is still on there.
Any ideas?
Thought i would try doing factory reset from within the system and at first it appeared to be going thru the reset - however upon reboot, everything remains.
The other things is i have TWRP on it, wondering if i should do anything there?
Looking for assistance on what the correct procedure is...

Hi, how can one flash without miflash? and the miflash no believe is the last version I think.
Would prefer a miflash completely to get rid of TWRP too.
any other ideas why this is happening?

Xiaomi Flash Tool - Official Mi Flash Tool
Download the latest and Official Xiaomi Flash Tool from the Official Xiaomi Flash Tool Website.
xiaomiflashtool.com
try downloading latest flash tool from this website
if not then try flashing without flash tool and u will not be able to retain twrp if u flash fastboot rom by any means.
if flash tool doesn't work then just extract the zip i have attached here and paste all files of fastboot rom folder in this folder and run the flash_all.bat file and it should work if u have all drivers installed.
The newer miflash worked! thank you so much Ezio!
Would you happen to know if there is any way to get Google PlayStore onto a K20 Pro?
I saw some threads on 'just flash it with a global ROM' - which wasn't the case back a year ago when i had last tinkered.

yes i have an Indian k20 pro and i tried miui global rom it works fine except nfc didn't as Indian k20 pro doesn't have nfc hardware.
So yes u can do that if u want but do note that global rom has dialer and contact as well from google and not mi one.
I remember when I treid it a year ago it didn't work. The phone recognise the rom as for non-chinese and said the version was wrong. Are you sure?
Is the process same as fastboot flashing?
Guess of it doesn't work I should be able to fastboot flash it back again?
Thanks, I just found https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...Vaw1k6QstZklCOzbLJO2p_18T&cshid=1607339448068
I just have to remember not to lock the bootloader.
