Wondering if anyone has settings that they think are best? My default APN came up as Tmobile MMS and I do not think that could be the best.
Thanks in advance...
Look it up on Google. There are not a whole lot.

Hi,
While exploring the 4636 menu I think I may have inadvertently changed the "Set preferred network type" setting. I am in the UK and with Vodafone (if that makes any difference) so could someone with an HTC One on that network please tell me what it says for that setting?
Many thanks.

Thanks for that but I think the most useful answer would be from someone actually on Vodafone here in the UK.

Nice one. Thanks Bud, , ,
Still need definitve answer
Hello again,
I've got a bit of information now but I would still like to hear from someone with an HTC One on a Vodafone UK contract. If you could do the "4636" menu thingy and tell me what exactly the preferred network is set to?
I noticed that my Vodafone 3G signal is almost completely useless but this may be a separate issue from what I've found on the web.The "H" connection is very fast but when it drops down to "3G" there's no data coming or going at all.
So just to be clear that it is a Vodafone network thing (which others suggest) I want to confirm I've got my preferred network set properly.
Cheers.
Hi, vodafone uk here but I get my phone from P4U, on mine preferred network is set to: GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto.
doesnt it reset anyway when you reboot?
I thought Chicago has LTE-A enabled for this market on the S5? Does anyone know how to use this? Any new APNs required? Thanks in advance.

I'm on T-Mobile, and if my APN and APN roaming protocols are not on Ipv4 I can not acquire data (it took me quite a bit to figure it out, as none of the Roms I flashed were able to acquire data)
try this, best result. fast and stable connection all the time, Don't know about MMS tho, never used it.

Yes that is what I use I was just commenting on the link that poster posted. Thanks
Tmobile/metropcs apn
Input this where it says apn type default, mms, supl, hipri, fota, ims, cbs. This will make volte and wifi calling work. You may have to update e911 address as well.

Was looking through Verizon roms and couldn't help but notice that there are a lot more roms for Verizon compared to ATT. I went ahead and flashed it, but I have no data or signal. Does anyone know if it is possible? Thanks!

When i was trying to buy onw of these i looked everywhere trying to find good, current, scoring data. Couldn't find it! So, now that i have one, here is what i got with the sk telecom variant. Also, F.Y.I. it works fantastic with t-mobile, just a little APN editing and i was good. Hope this helps someone!
Since i cant post outside links...The score was a 141,984. Anyone else get better?
