How to perform fastboot oem unlock WITHOUT POWER BUTTON

Here is a problem,
My POWER BUTTON NOT FUNCTION AT ALL.
Phone is absolutely naked, Bootloader Locked, Not Rooted and STOCK FR91 Rom.
Can any one tell me HOW TO PERFORM FASTBOOT OEM UNLOCK without POWER BUTTON.
I could reboot to FASTBOOT USB mode. I could select YES with Volume UP/DOWN keys, BUT I COULD NOT CONFIRM THIS ACTION WITH POWER BUTTON.
Does any one knows how to unlock without confirmation, maybe additional command?
Since your phone is not rooted neither bootloader unlocked, so I would suggest you to contact HTC to repair your power button, if it is possible.
Also, if you just want to root - you can manage without unlocking the bootloader now. In your case it might be better solution.

Contact HTC is not a solution, because it is not so easy in my Country (Belarus) and I have removed "VOID" sticker, I was trying to fix button, but have failed.
Also I'm using Universal Androot to get root access.
If you have root - you don't need to unlock the bootloader.
Without the power button you can't unlock, but as long as you're still on FRF91, then flash_image is a good substitute.

But How I could flash CyanogenMod 6.0 then without unlocked bootloader?

Does flash_image for G1 is suitable for Nexus one.
As I could understand, it allows me directly to write *.img to specified area from the device shell. Am I right?
Yes, you're right.
You don't flash CM6 or any other ROM by fastboot. You flash them in recovery. And you flash recovery either by fastboot or by flash_image.
The guides are in Nexus One Wiki. Go there, "Recovery", "using flash_image".
Thank you.
Finally I have installed CM 6.0 ROM using flash_image method.
But I have question, should I completely remove this files : /system/etc/install-recovery.sh and /system/recovery-from-boot.p? Or I could restore them after recovery flashing?
Recovery - No Power Button Confirmation - I'm loving it.
Rom - adhoc, trackball wake and so on - I'm testing it.
yes, completely remove them.

do you can give step by step how to make it works, i have the same problem with lock bootloader and power button broke and currently bootloop
Another reason someone might want to do this. I have a Asus Zenwatch that needs to be flashed due to a bad update. Unfortunately the power button is located on the back. To hook the watch up to the computer to issue the "fastboot oem unlock" command I need the phone to be on the charging cradle. To hit the power button I need to pull the device off the cradle. It turns itself off the moment it's off the cradle.
I just ordered a cheap cradle that I can drill through to create a hole to access the power button, but a method of triggering this without needing to confirm on the phone / watch is needed.

Reboot on power menu?

Is there any way to get Reboot (by itself, or along with the additional Reboot to recovery, etc.) on the power menu?

Only once you have root. You can probably make a shortcut to it on one of your homescreens using something like quickshortcutmaker, but that won't be quite the same.

Do you mean the answer is no I can't get Reboot on the power menu, but if I have root then I can make a desktop shortcut to reboot?
There is no way to get Advanced Power Menu without Root.
You can however hold down power and the device will reboot.

Not on the power menu but if you want to wipe temporary files and force a reboot you can do the following.
This will remove any temporary files that may be causing the problem, but will not delete your files or settings.
1. With the phone powered off, press the VOL DOWN KEY for 2-3 seconds then POWER key then release.
2. The device will display different BOOT OPTIONS
3. Use the VOL DOWN Key to SCROLL to Recovery and VOL UP Key to select
Tip: If the device reboots, you may have waited to long to make a selection, you will need to begin the process again.
4. The device will display the Motorola logo and then the Android in distress ( logo with Exclamation mark)
5. Press and hold the VOL UP key for 10-15 seconds. While still holding the VOL UP key tap and release the POWER key
Tip: You can try this step, holding the phone in landscape. If you are stuck on step 6, try a force reboot by pressing the Power key and Vol Down key, and start the process again.
6. The device will display additional menu options (Text will appear in BLUE)
7. Use the VOL DOWN Key to scroll to wipe cache partition and the POWER Key to select this option
8. The device will then perform the partition wipe
9. The device will reboot and start the normal power up sequence
I meant you can make a shortcut on the home screen without having root. The actual power menu can only be edited on phones with root access.

There's multiple apps that can put a shortcut on you're desktop, quickboot and ROM toolbox are just two examples, but they all require root access.
Pushing the power button for power menu extras can only be done with either xposed frameworks or a custom rom , again both require root and or unlocked bootloader

Apparently I was wrong about not needing root for a shortcut. My apologies for misleading you.

How can I get extra buttons on power menu WITHOUT using Xposed? I'm using ART.
And also I have root.
Thanks.

Sir, all I find are widgets, and I don't want anything about that.
I just want to modify the power menu to access from the power button, but with the option of reboot, without using Xposed.
Thanks.

Not going to happen without Xposed or a custom rom that has an extended power menu.
As said above, there are apps. Quick boot works well and is not a widget.

You do realize there is a hidden/default reboot?
Hold power for 8 to 10 seconds & it reboots.

This is just one of the things I wanted to avoid to do (I found it forced, not like when I turn off the phone and then turn it on again), but anyway, I DID realize that, so... no way, to do this.
Thanks, anyway.

[L7]Looking for a functional ROM

Hi everyone
I am trying to find a good custom ROM for my wife's L7, as stock ROM sucks.
Currently with CM11, but it has insane battery draining.
Any version compatible with v20 baseband would do, just needs to have good battery life, REALLY bug free and reasonable performance.
Thanks in advance for your help. Cheers!
v20 based ROMs (Kikat) is still reaching its stability.
You can check out AOSB, I just have a 1% battery drain overnight on my L5. You should be able to achieve the same on L7.
v10 based ROMs have better battery and is more stable.
You might want to try our newly released Project L based on Android L developer preview.

Yes, it'll work.
Volume Down + Volume Up + Home + Power. Press the power until it vibrates, then release the power button.
So with v10 baseband, what would be the best rom?
Thank you

Your choice There's plenty of it :
- PA
- CM10
- AOKP
- Many themed ROM

Thanks for the reply but that combo doesn't work for me now. It used to work before.
What works for me is, volume down + power then when capacitive lights turns on press the menu and release the power when vibrate.
Why is it, it works for you and not mine. Is the combo depends on every Rom, boatloader or recovery?
Right now I'm on cm11 by imer and recovery from al. Filth philz touch.

Yes, official CM10 is good for daily.
There's plenty ROM, but this is my picks :
> Paranoid Android
> Avatar ROM
> AOKP
> SlimBean

it depends on bootloader settings
i found out when unlocking bootloader on my L3 II
used to be vol- and power
now its
1. PRESS AND HOLD "HOME" BUTTON
2. PRESS "VOL-" AND "POWER" BUTTONS TOGETHER FOR ~2.5-3 SECONDS AND RELEASE
3. KEEP HOLD OF "HOME" BUTTON UNTIL RECOVERY BOOTED

hehehe i just quoted myself xD
so depending on where did your unlock come you might have different combos to get in
PS. thats not 100% correct as some of the users of my unlock reported the combo not working ..
so i guess there is more than 1 cause for combo to work or not
combo is before APPSBL, it's either in QCSBL / OEMSBL

Either QCSBL nor OEMSBL were changed on my phone yet the combo changed after flashing 3 partitions
1 bootloader
2 boot
3 recovery
so there must be more to it

Your saying either of these partitions reside the combo?
As far as I remember, I haven't change bootloader since I unlock it. So I assume the last 2.
Maybe some expert can explain this. Calling..... [emoji337]

Okay, I'll explain it clear and logically based on my findings.
These combos are also defined in kernel, they're called 'melfas_*randomnumbers*_DOWNLOAD' and 'melfas_*randombumbers*_ts' (If I get the name right).
They contain :
- Combos, unknown
- Download mode combos (Emergency mode combos, etc)
So it might be possible that flashing kernel changes combos, on CM10.1 I need to press Vol + and Home then power to enter recovery.
Then, doesn't kernel loaded after bootloader ? Why does kernel have connection with combos ?
Good question, right ? My answer are :
The bootloader actually only loads kernel. So, the boot process are actually :
Bootloader > Kernel decompress > Loads either the kernel itself or recovery or download mode > Enters the mode.
Then if this is wrong, my second guess will be :
The recovery and kernel defines it's own combos.
While this is not the best guess, I'm guessing this happens :
Bootloader > User press any key combos that's defined in recovery on kernel > Either recovery or kernel will be unpacked.
AFAIK, this is only guessing, corrections is welcome

How can I add "boot to recovery" etc to my power down/off menu when holding button?
when I hold down the power button to bring up the boot options I would like to see an option to boot into recovery and perhaps other things. Can anyone suggest a way to do this preferably an easy way to do this? Is there a program or guide you can recommend? I am rooted 5.1 lollipop
You have two options here. You can either stay on stock, rooted and get G4 Tweaksbox (can be found here on XDA) or you can run an AOSP based rom like Cyanogenmod or Blisspop, which have it built in.

It's not TMobile but an exynos note 4.
Download mode is accessed by volume down, power and home. There is no need to oem unlock because it already is unlocked.
