Should be possible with a custom kernel since the Indian and global variants are the same HW.
Can't we just flash indian a2 kernel?

Hex Kernel doesn't even support QC 3.0 chargers. Connect any QC3 compatible charger and you will see usb connecting/disconnecting indefinitely.

Haven't flashed it myself. Just saw the description and it's says something about enabling QC4.0+ in every MI A2. I have the Indian version so QC4.0+ is already enabled on mine.

We don't have QC 4.0+ chargers available yet in India.

You don't need a QC 4.0+ certified charger, and you won't see it very available in the future. That's because it's exactly the same as a PD 3.0 charger. Anyway you can get most benefits of QC4 with a QC3 charger, because the new tech is entirely implemented in the mobile hardware side.

All good things come to those who wait. Technically, it will be easer to configure a TWRP build for the A2 Lite since there are already Xiaomi specific official TWRP builds for devices that use the same SOC. It is still IN the oven, by the way. Other than a pre-release order from Ali or Gearbest (and good luck with customs duties on those) most Xiaomi outlets (at least that I can find here in the EU) seem to not have received a release date, yet.
Patience, Jedi.
TWRP would be a bit difficult to port (let alone compile) without the factory images, and who knows when Xiaomi will release those. We could also use a one click root tool (spyware) to pull the factory images directly from the device. Only issue is it is total spyware and you'll need to flash factory over it to remove the spyware (which we dont have). So best chance is to wait for someone to get the factory images, then we can easily port TWRP.
thanks for the advise guys. appreciate.. then.. wait for the twrp it is.

I've tried it and it does not work.
Exit the green doll with the exclamation and "No command".
To wait for the official version of TWRP ....

Sorry but Mi8 global (NOT xiaomi.eu) latest 10.2.2.0 doesn't support exFAT. It gives me an error on device and ask to format.
Could anyone port this OS for Xiaomi Mi A2 (or Mi 6X)?
That would be wonderful! Still miss my trusty Nokia N9 dualboot with MeeGo and SailfishOS
For the hardware section, good for it, but the software leaves much to be desired, you need more functions and better to take advantage of 100% the hd
It's not a revolution

That's custom resource, not firmware. It changes only icons, nothing else. Calling it a custom firmware is misleading and incorrect.
Custom firmware modifies/adds functions, this is not possible with Mi Band 4.
ok sorry
Self-explanatory question. I have a RMX3350 which is known as GT Flash. I need to know if it's possible to flash X7 Max (3031) AOSP ROMs on Neo Flash (3350). Specwise they're same except FE has 67W charging.
Thanks
Edit: March 31, 2022
Yes, you can flash all the ROMs and recoveries of X7 max(3031) on GT Neo Flash Edition (3350).

65w to 50 but I don't notice any difference. Charging should be a little bit slower.
兄弟,我的真我GT NEO闪速版RMX3350,256GB,也想刷海外版的系统,您是刷的哪个ROM,使用体验如何呢,可以请教一下您么?
