Yes. From 9.6.5.0 to 8.8.30 then 2 weekly Ota to 8.9.7
But seems like the latest Ota missing out dipper again. Probably preparing dipper for Android pie?

If u are on Global official lastest official GLobal is this version but normally u need upgrade to 8.5.x.x via OTA, a lot of people receive this upgrade long time ago, new build is send by wave...
Or u can flash xiaomi.eu 8.5.3.0 who give excellent result too... dirty flash over official build to keep apps + data !!
AND BEFORE MAKE SOMETHING, BACKUP !!
Hi! I purchased the MiMIX upon launch and have been using it in Canada on the Rogers/AT&T network without issue. However, I've never received any prompts to do any system updates (currently my version is MIUI 8.0.8.0). I see that there have been a few updates since launch. Is there some reason I didn't get the OTA notifications? Where is a reliable download site to find official latest releases?
Thanks!

Thanks lesscro. To confirm, would I use the Recovery Rom or the Fastboot Rom to update? I'll be updating from the original rom that the phone came with (8.0.8.0).
I got the update as well. Just installed it. It changed the font slightly and made all the icons look more ugly . Wish I'd never updated . I don't understand why they're releasing small MIUI 8 updates when MIUI 9 is out ! When will I get a global stable MIUI 9 update via OTA???
Actually MIUI 9 is in beta stage for Global branch...
Can anyone help on how to install this on rooted mi mix?
Sent from my MIX using Tapatalk
Official ROM actually or xiaomi.eu Rom ?
8.5.4.0 -Android 6.0 - MIUI Official ROM Global
8.5.4.0 -Android 6.0 - Xiaomi.eu ROM
Both can be flashed via TWRP....

If u are on Global stable, maybe when stable will be available... if you use beta program then you can upgrade via OTA...

You need unlocked bootloader for xiaomi.eu one. EEA has no betas, therefore you'd be stuck with it if you don't want to unlock b bootloader.
Ok I have a question, what's the difference between the global and EEA? My Mi9 has the EEA , is the only difference the update frequency? Thanks

I'm wondering this too. I can unlock my (Cepheus) bootloader tomorrow obviously wanting to get rid of CH Rom ASAP as a Latin alphabet user.
I know where they come from (European vb.) but don't know the differences of those two in term of features & update frequency.
Ps: I like that purple lightning animation on screen when plugged
yes, you can unlock the bootloader and install the global dev dev on mi9 and then re-boot the bootloader with mi flash. the dev version is updated weekly. the global version and eea are updated about once a month.
SO i'm stuck on the EAA until i can unlock the bootloader? Xiaomi flash tool is a no go huh?

Hii.
Can anyone tell exactly what the difference is between
MIUI 10.2 - Global Stable MIUI V10.X.X.X. ( PFAMIXM )
and
MIUI 10.2 - EEA (European Economic Area) Stable MIUI V10.X.X.X. ( PFAEUXM )
is there any advantages to use EEA over Global ?

Just uninstall magisk and choose the restore images option.... Update will be installed just fine
Just updated to V 1.20 WW.
Global version, I'm.not sure if I'll get a root file to flash for this version
How to root after new update?
I managed to locate ota file on my phone and unzip it but magisk was unable to patch the extracted boot.img . I want to know how did we manage to get patched boot img for previous ota updates? Also can anyone share their stock boot.img for EN1.18_Common version of rom, so that people can unroot their device to update?
boot.img v1.20
I installed v2.17, everything fine, then I realized I can't get the boot.img file for 2.17 (no download link anywhere), so I just reverted back to 2.15.
Link to the package

Could someone confirm that this is the correct package? They have written the name of the version incorrectly... It should be 2.17 but it appears as 2.12 version

There isn't any problems, just because it works for OP it doesn't mean every global variant will get it. You can always get Xiomi.eu if you want a later release. Its practically the same with some slight modifications/ debloat. You could also just get the firmware yourself and flash it.
Yep, right! you can just manually download the official firmware and apply manually the update for your device though

There are users like us who don't want to compromise their device safety, spend time in flashing/troubleshooting and to lose some important features via unlocking the device bootloader like making some of the banking apps useless, etc. Yes, Xiaomi EU is good! In the meantime i have done the process for unlock the bootloader (next monday i'll be able to do the fastboot command).

For now it's just security update. 13.0.8 can't be installed, because is older, so error will be you can't downgrade to older version. So maybe after few day they'll release MIUI 13 for Xiaomi 11T pro

For anyone trying to upgrade to MIUI13
You can see what version you have if you take a look at the version ending. SKDMIXM is the Global version and RKDEUXM is the European (EEA)
If you notice the SKD and RKD part, it means Android 11 for R and Android 12 for S
Make sure your Xiaomi 11T Pro is running the Global ROM, it is officially released as V13.0.3.0.SKDMIXM.
The newest ROM for the Xiaomi 11T Pro EEA (European) right now is V12.5.21.0.RKDEUXM
If you try to install V13.0.8.0.SKDEUXM and run into an error, it is due to it being a Mi Pilot tester ROM only.
You wont be able to install a ROM from a different region over another one.
The only way to bypass this is by unlocking the bootloader and flash something like Xiaomi.EU which is a modified Xiaomi ROM which includes China ROM features.
Follow this guide:
MIUI 13 (Xiaomi.EU) for Xiaomi 11T Pro - V13.0.2.0.SKDMIXM
