Motorola Moto G6 XT1925-5 - Moto G6 Questions & Answers

Hello,
Yesterday i bought new Moto G6, i inserted my old SD card (Patrrio micro SD 8gb class 10). It was previously in Blackberry Q10 phone and it was formated there aswell in new Moto G6 - I added this because i don't know if it matters.
Anyway, i started adding contact number in phone book (in fromat +x xxx xxxxxxx) when suddenly phone freezed and reseted. When it started to boot again there was Motorola logo for sometime and i got message in the attachement.
After phone turned off i tried to turn it on again and it showed Motorola logo again and after that it turned off. Then i removed SD card tryed again and it go to Android OS but in the moment it loaded it the phone turned off.
Then i tryed again and the phone works normaly now.
So I am wondering what caused this and is this something that i should be worried about, since the phone is 2 days old i still have warranty, should I returne it ti my carrier (after which it will probablly go to authorized Motorola service and they will probably say the phone works fine)?
Sorry for the long introduction and thanks you all in advance.

I would exchange and see how it goes. I don't have a microSD in mine, so I don't know how this will work for you.

My sim card reader is broken

Hello,
I tried to insert my sim card with micro adapter into phone but I inserted sim the wrong way round. One pin in now broken and phone doent detect sim card any more. Sony saying they wont repair it due to user error so no warranty repair. They said that it needs the whole new mother board for 300USD but I think that it just needs new sim card reader. Now i have found a replacement sim card reader and ordered it form ebay. I also found http://www.xperiablog.net/2013/09/15/xperia-z1-disassembly-guide/
I was just wondering however if anyone had attempted it, from the tear down guide it looks like the sim reader is attached to the logic board so a replacement reader wouldnt exactly help.
Anyone with any advise would be greatly received
Regards

Sorry for the necro but did you ever manage to fix this problem? I have the same issue now

[SOLVED] Suddenly my Xperia T has no signal

From yesterday on my Xperia T doesn't have any signal, I cannot search a Network neither. I don't know why or how happened, just did.
I clean-flashed the 4.3 Stock Rom with Flashtool but it doesn't work. I'm going to try to switch SIMs with my girlfriend so I can see wether it's a phone or SIMcard problem. Any hints about this? Never happened before
Well, it's my phone's problem, my SIM has signal in my gf's phone but her SIM doesn't have signal in mine
I fixed it.
To anyone else having the same problem:
1. Shutdown the phone.
2. Disassemble the phone. There are plenty of tutorials if you don't know how.
2. Find this connector and unplug it.

3. After a few seconds, plug it back again (when you do, you should hear a 'click' sound)
4. Reassemble the phone.
That should work, at least did work for me. This is the second hardware problem I had (the first one was the battery not charging offline issue) and both of them were just fixed by detaching and plug in back their respective connectors. If I would have sent this to Sony i'm sure they would have asked me to pay a lot of money for repairing it.

Why Bootloader screen is appearing default on my Nexus 6?

Okay I'll be as specific as I can:
So I'd bought this phone just 5-6 days back, it had a weird problem that it never used to provide any software update. I mean it came 5.0 out-of-box but never even provided 5.1, forget 6.0 on which the world is on right now. I'd asked about this problem on XDA before but nothing helped, so finally i went to service centre. Now idk what magic they did, they took it and first said they'll check, then they'll format and try update, finally they gave me 6.0 on it. Now ofcourse i was satisified, but now when i turn my phone off i directly get a bootloader screen like this (image)

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
. Now a normal proper android doesn't open such screen, atleast my Nexus 5 doesn't? Then after getting 6.0 and whenever i turn my phone off and on back, first bootloader screen comes.
Can this cause any problem?
How exactly did they update my phone then as my OTA wasn't working?
How can i turn this off and directly turn my phone off & on without intercepting this bootloader screen.
(please read image contents and tell if there's any problem)
Thanks in advance, and also please don't tell why i din't ask the service centre, indian service centres are too worst . please help as i won't like to visit them again!

How can I keep my T-Mobile V40 on Android 9?

Okay, so Android 10 comes out and completely destroys my phone. I purposely got an audiophile LG phone...only to have forced Android 10 neuter some of that prowess. In addition I think I have a corrupt build and I've had all sorts of problems with it from Battery to reception.
Needless to say, TM is replacing the phone which should be back on Android 9 when I get it. Does anybody in this group know how I can KEEP it there and prevent a force carrier update? Obviously can't root a carrier-branded phone...so i plan to login as safe mode without SIM to get to developers options....
Will simply setting "no updates" there prevent this from happening? Somehow I doubt it's that easy....
Of course the new T-Mobile phone comes in and it's already on Android 10. So I searched again and finally find an unlocked "TA" model still on 9. In fact it may be the first V40 phone ever made judging by the security date
Before I set it up on the wireless or especially put in the SIM, I "disabled update" in developers options...so now I have to figure out how to update the security side of it without updating operating system side of it!
At least I finally found one on 9 cuz that was quite a search these days.

Question S21 ultra mobile settings gone sm-G988u

Hello [email protected] is good contact email.
So long story short. My phone is att phone, been using on starlight talk for a year or so. The screen broke. Got it fixed and no longer worked. I called straight talk they said Verizon bought straight talk I would need a Verizon sim. I got the sim in the phone and it asked me for network unlock code. Took me 4 days but got a code. The phone stopped prompting me for code so I used *7465625*638*# and entered unlock code. CODE successfull!!! OK so I reboot phone. My mobile network setting finally showed up. I chose the Verizon apn in the apn settings. Phone reboots again and all settings dissappear again. I would pay someone to help me get phone working again. I have more sim cards I purchased just don't know what I'm doing. Thank you.
Phone displays No sim No service with sim in.
