Mi A2 and USB- Power Delivery - confirm ? - Xiaomi Mi A2 / 6X Questions & Answers

The XDA review states :
- USB Type-C port (USB 2.0), and
- The phone does support USB-C Power Delivery as well.
USB-PD is not mentioned at the Mi site.
Can some one please confirm USB PD.
I might get the A2 once (if?) the stuck proc and the slow write speed probs are resolved.
The 6/128 model is coming soon it seems (India).

It supports power delivery, as you can see here.
Moreover, my Mi A2 128/6 has neither max cpu frequency stuck nor slow memory issues.

Does Realme x2 Pro support Supervooc 2.0 (65W)

Hi guys I am looking at getting a second power Adapter for my phone, I can buy the new Supervooc 2.0 here in my country (Indonesia) I was wondering whether this phone support the new 65w Supervooc 2.0 ?
Supervooc 2.0 was introduced with the new Oppo Reno Ace (Practically same hardware besides camera and Gorilla Glass 6 on the front.)

Doubt it supports the 65w charger but who knows
The X2 Pro charges at SuperVOOC 2.0 announced speeds anyway:
To our surprise, Realme's advertised 35 minutes of 0 to 100% turned out to be conservative. Get this, the 4,000 mAh battery charged from flat to 100% in just 30 minutes.

And even then 30 mins vs 35 mins isn't a big difference.
You will probably need a usb charging monitor to test it out. Given they both charge at 5a, you will need to see if you get 13v instead of 10v at low battery level.

That's what I thought but the Supervooc 2.0 pushes it to 6.5a instead of 5a. Do you think the charging cable that comes with Oppo Reno Ace is different compared to Realme x2 Pro ? Wouldn't the cable has to be able to charge more than 5a to rips the potential of the Adapter?

I have tried a usb test and didn´t work with original Realme X2pro Supervooc charger. (it works with qc 2.0 y 3.0)
Instead I have used the built-in Engineer Mode (*#899#) and I´ve confirmed the 10V 5A charge (near 0% 5A, 60% 4A, near 100% Intensity goes down to 1.2A)

What I can say is: if you are not using the original realme cable (yellow usb) the supervooc charger (50W) wont work at 10V5A, it works at 5V2A (10w max). then, it is preferably to use a qc2.0 adapter than gives at least 9V2A (18w)
So if I use Dash/Warp Cable I would be able to activate Supervooc? Since those cable are pretty much the same technology?

Have you tried the 65w charger?
Has anyone tested it using a usb current reader?

Yes I have tested it with the 65W Charger the first 15 minutes I was up to 62% then it twinkles down so I end up reaching 100% just under 28 minutes. Mind you the Supervooc 2.0 (65W) only came with the Adapter so I was using the normal Supervooc cable.

Xiaomi Mi A2 slow charging only

Bought a used Mi A2, that runs on the updated android one version.
I have tried a bunch of unnoficial power adapters, and all of them give only slow charge.
The strange thing is i tried my friends original Xiaomi adapter and it didn't even connected.
Im thinking about making a downgrade to android 9 or 8, what do you think?

not reason for fast charge problem ..try to enable Dev settings by tapping on build number in settings/about ...
then toggle fast charge to on in dev settings
*also if official charger is not working it means the battery is screwed or someone put cheap after market parts like bad replacement charging dock or cheap replacement battery

Does mi a2 really support QC3/4

I have read several topics about this and still doesn't understand. I was one step from buying QC3.0 from KUULAA before had a bit of test.
Im running pixel extended rom, that can show on screen charge info. The stock charger is out of question. I also have chargers from mi 4 and samsung s5e. And both of them showing 10W charging - 2.4A and ~4.5V. Then i got for test 2 more adapters - one from Pixel 4 and Redmi note 9 pro. They suppose to be QC3+, allowing 18+W charge. Yet - both of them showed exactly the same numbers ( tested with 10% battery).
So the main my concern - im not even talking about qc4, i didn't even saw that qc3 charge that suppose to be 18W, not 10W.
Maybe there is not support from rom? or is this support should come from kernel? Since sd660 allowing QC3/4 but it's own specs

Question Has Redmi crippled this phone's charging capabilities?? - Redmi Note 10 Pro Slow Charging

I'm planning to buy the Redmi Note 10 Pro considering how feature packed it is for the price . But a bothersome fact I've noticed in multiple youtube reviews, especially the Indian variant is that the phone is charging only at a power close to 25W when the charger is 33W and the hardware present inside is more than capable of doing that
Is it hardwares or software issue? Or is Redmi purposefully limiting the charging speed?
In my European variant, The in-box adapter says "27.0 Watts"
so in some variants came as 33 watts and other with 27
No problem here with the UK variant using the supplied 33w charging brick and cable.
Poland (So EU version?) here, 33w charger in the box. Charges 33w without problems. Official dist.
Edit: Got SS for You

Question Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro charging slowly

Hi guys, I have this annoying issue with the Mi 11 Pro: even if I use the original Xiaomi charger of 65 or 67 (I forgot the power) W, the phone only charges in 55 minutes, which makes me almost crash it with a hammer )). It is very annoying. It is on the second charge and does the same. Chinese version, used in Europe. Latest official ROM, no alterations. Any idea why? Thank you!
Maybe the cable, because you have buy this model in Shengen Trading ? When you plug your phone have you the notification "Mi TURBO CHARGE" ? (like the screenshot)
Yes yes, Mi Turbo Charge. ... In the meantime I realized smth: should it be the new 67W charger? Cause the one I have is the "old" 65W charger.
