ZE554KL Screen protector - Asus Zenfone 4

Does anyone know where I can get a proper fitting screen protector for the Zenfone 4 ZE554KL? None of the ones I've purchased fit the entire screen. They don't cover the edges because of the curve. Leaves about a 1/4 inch of white around the edge of the whole phone. Thanks.

You have to get these SP with a sufix "3D/5D", that means that will cover edges
ps:. just supid "market nickname"

[Q] Screen Protector - Curved Screen causes bubbles?

Hi,
I have tried several dry-application screen protectors, and I am unable to apply them without strip of air at the top and bottom edges. I am presuming that this is due to the curvature of the display.
Has anyone found a screen protector that doesn't have this issue? I am aware that some manufacturers shorten the top and bottom edges of their protectors to avoid this.
Also, do wet-application protector fare better in this regard?
Thanks.

I got a free screen protector when a bought a gel case on ebay, the interesting thing was that the screen protector was slightly curved in shape so I didn't have too much problem with bubbles and removed them by pressing down on the bubbles gently with a credit card.
This is the case I bought: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RED-S-CU...AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&hash=item2a11860e69
neo: That's good to know. You're referring to the strips of air at the very edges of the display, right?
CMX: hmm, that's quite interesting. I have never heard of a curved protector before.
Yea i just used a hairdryer...it work great!!..i used a heat gun once n that work even better

Mikvon Tempered Glass Protector perfect

Having found several Tempered Glass screen protectors I tried unsatisfactory, I decided to try a German one on the theory that their engineering is often good. I purchased a Mikvon one (available on Amazon and eBay). It seems perfect to me. It is precision cut and the fit and cut-outs are just right. Maybe it could be one millimetre wider each side but then it would be capable of being installed over the curved edge of the Oneplus 3 screen. The edges of the protector are neatly rounded and inconspicuous in use. I cannot see any of the dots or halos that are present on other products, and it adheres across its full surface. I also cannot detect any loss of sensitivity. When installed there were a couple of bubbles, but these were easily expelled. I am using this in conjunction with an Orzly Fusion Bumper case, which seems to give good all-round protection.

this thing does not go all the way to edge it clearly says It on their selling ad..
https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B01EWIB950/ref=dp_olp_new_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=new
It cannot go all the way to the edge because of the curved edges of the Oneplus 3 screen. It goes as close as possible. It is invisible in use and it really doesn't matter.
Pics?

Please post some pics
I tried to take some pics. But I could not find a way to do this without reflections on the screen. I tried indoors and out. Anyway the tempered glass protector didn't show in any of them, as it is darn near invisible. It goes to about 1.5 mm from where the black framing of the screen starts. In my opinion any greater would not offer additional protection.
Does it actually covers the entire viewable screen?

It is 1.5 to 2mm less than the full viewable area, both sides. But I am never concsious of the edges of the protector. They hardly show, maybe because they are well rounded. I accept it would be great to have a protector the full width. But since this one is otherwise so precisely cut, I feel the designer made it as big as possible taking account of the screen curvature.

Thin its same than OnePlus own (not the curved one) tempered glass. Of course this one is cheaper than OnePlus version. But with word "perfect" i though this would be more perfect like edge to edge or covering all of viewable area. I have Nillkin tempered glass installed to my phone. It covers all viewable area but of course it contains little halo on the sides but less than 1mm so its not big deal for me. I dont even see it when using phone.

Full coverage tempered glass question

Okay so I ordered some tempered glass through Aliexpress. I got it and it has the black trim around it which is fine. However unlike all my other tempered glass purchases in the past (none had painted trim before) this only had adhesive on the colored areas and the the main area over the display had no adhesive. Is this the way of all the full coverage glass that has painted trim around the edges of the screen protector?
I uploaded a picture of a similar style, not the exact one I purchased but this one shows the style better.
Is there a full screen protector with adhesive over the whole back surface and not just around the edges?
So I guess no one has found a full screen tempered glass protector with the back having adhesive on the entire surface and not just around the edge? This is for the 4X variant.
Sadly not. I'm having a lot of trouble finding a screen protector for these phones that isn't terrible...
I have this mocolo glass but the problem is that the touch sensibility is terrible. Do you know how to increase screen sensibility?

Best Tempered Glass - Hands Down -

I have purchased many so called "perfect" Tempered Glass Screen Protectors for the Mi Mix 2/2s and threw most of them away for poor adhesive, halo and rainbow affect, and visibility issues. I finally ordered the NILLKIN CP+ Anti-Explosion Glass Screen Protector for Xiaomi Mi Mix 2/2S from OppoMart https://www.oppomart.com/xiaomi/mi-...-screen-protector-for-xiaomi-mi-mix-2-2s.html

the border is a guide and ensure it is case friendly - but to each their own and halo
No Halo effect (like the black bordered screen protector that I had for my old Mi Mix) with these 5D black border screen protector for my Mi Mix 2s
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Hat...025.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.38294c4dX7C8zr
It is like a non black bordered screen protector, and not at all like the one I had that was a black bordered screen protector for the Mi Mix.
The Halo effect is caused by the adhesive pad that is used around the black border part of the screen protector, and as such, the screen protector floats over the phone's screen, creating the halo or rainbow effect.
The black border screen protector I received this week does not have this adhesive on the underside of the black border, and as such, the entire underneath surface of the screen protector sits in direct contact with the phone screen and hence does not hover or float on the phones screen. This type of installation is like any other screen protector that just bonds to the phone's screen, thereby eliminating the halo effect.
MUCH easier to align than an undersized non black bordered screen protector.
Cheers,
LormaD

Had this one. The adhesion is very nice, however the camera and sensor cutouts on the bottom chin have no adhesive on the glass and have the tendency to collect a lot of dust from eg. having the phone in my pocket. Had to tear it off, because my front camera became very foggy and not sharp from all this dust
Lol 5d. What does that even mean, I get 3d signifies it curves. Time to release a 6d superior screen protector

Actually, i had the choice to get the one with the black border (that covers everything) and this one. But i still chose this because its nilkin, and its a trusted brand.

Nillkin have the black border version too, named CP+
based on some user feedback, i believe it using hybrid materials, which screen area is still glass but black border is plastic like material, bendable

Any way you could picture it on the phone?
This one came in from Aliexpress Friday and it fits perfectly.
https://goo.gl/oaycHM
It's has full screen adhesive and there is a very thin black border, wasn't hard to line up, but that border has a lot thicker adhesive on it so its stuck to the curved edges of the glass really good.
Couldn't beat it for the price.

Screen Protector faint lines

Hi all together
Just got the note 9 and got the screen protector installed at the mobile shop. At home i saw two faint lines right and left of the screen protector. And it seems the glue does not touch the corners. It was a quality screen protector not a cheap one. The lines are not to visible, but still. Anyone made the same expirence? Will dust accumulate under the corners?
Thanx for any advice
Where are you the lines? There has to be an edge unless you get the Ringke which wraps around to the back of the phone. Unless the edges are lifted up and your case doesn't interfere it should be fine.

Was mainly noticeable as a hologram rainbow effect again very faint when a white image was displayed.
Same issue here. I thought I had a defective note 9 at first. I believe all the tempered glass protectors do that on this device.
