I was wondering that, HPlay only has EIS which is absolutely better than nothing, but since it has the flagship chipset could they add the "AIS" from the P20 pro? Would be cool seeing it in the Play since it gives overall better results than just EIS.
They said it will get it with an update in both launch events (India and Europe)!!
But it hasn't arrived yet, I don't know when...

Open camera , switch to video, go to settings.
Last option is 'Stabiliser'.,this is EIS.

Well I believe the "Stabiliser" thing is EIS and it works upto 1080p 30 FPS

I have what's in that most recent screenshot plus Stabiliser plus "priority save to sd card - burst photos will be saved to the internal storage".
UK Honor Play (4gb ram, 64gb internal), emui 8.2.0, current version cor-l29 8.2.0.130(c432), current patch package cor-l29 8.2.0.130(c432patch01).
COR-TL10 8.2.0.142 no EIS in Settings here.

Cause Google just don't want to add slow-motion video. Yeah, it pisses me off too
sure its able to record and play slow mo, its just not included in the cam by default. there are apps for that.

i actually just checked oit a few slow motion recording app.. and they are all pretty bad!

I have noticed that my note 8 doesn't give me an option to watch 1440p quality videos in YouTube. Switching to performance mode doesn't help.

Yup, it plays in 1440p on my iPad. What's weird is that it doesn't play in 1440p on my Android tablet

Works here on the phone. Maybe a restriction by your carrier... if you not using Wi-Fi?

Yes, the phone is set to 1440p display setting. I enabled all disabled packages and still no 1440p. I'm with Sprint but on unlocked phone straight from Samsung. Turning on airplane mode and using WiFi doesn't help either.
What is tour version of YouTube app? I have 12.36.56
East fix. Mine (TMO USA) didn't do 1440 either. I found out the phone settings had a lower resulting. You need to put the dismay settings on the highest for YouTube to work

I have done so by putting the phone into performance it entertaining mode but it didn't help. Still don't have 1440 option
Clear the YouTube cache in apps settings.
Update, if I put the phone into performance or entertainment mode and restart the phone then I get 1440p option. If I set it back to optimized setting then I still have the 1440p option but if the screen turns off on it's own then the option is gone
Working fine here, Unlocked on Verizon.
this has been discussed already on this forum and the fix was changing the phone's native resolution display settings to allow for that option.
i always keep the phone in performance mode because i want to take advantage of all these whiz bang features samsung has touted (this is my first ever sammy device).

Yep same here. Force stop and clear cache did the trick.

i have many problems with laggs at scrolling
issues on stability camera
issues on facebook + messenger (some times crashes i cant share fotos from google photos to messenger, problem with language etc etc)
issue with google photos witch crashed + when i scroll to see my photos i got horrible laggs
issues with selfi camera with has over xpose white colour and low quality
issues with slow motion 8x(240 fps) doesnt work
issues with zoom at 10 mps
issues with emails ( i delete my mails- and then i delete my mails from bin same mails recoming again and again and again....)
when this 120 update will come??
i cant update from firmware finder cause im not approved

Many users(including myself) are updated throughout twrp recovery. Look over here at xda, there is a topic for that.

Selfi quality seems same and low (
Fixes with Ai with over green. Super slow motion video fixed. Unlock face is faster than 107 version. Scrolling is smooth no lags.
That's all with a fast check up

Auto mode includes HDR since day 1.

Stabilization for 4k again doesn't work
My Note 9 shows only 3 modes in the rear camera video setting, and no fps available. The highest quality available is FHD.
Any idea why and how I can find the other modes?

so the video fps is capped at 30fps at both 720p and 1080p, however I want to record at 60fps, and I know this phone can do 60 fps (atleast on 720p) because slow mo records at [email protected]

You can try installing Gcam on your phone. I'm using Gcam6 on my redmi note 9 with pixel experience and this guy records at 60fps(not that good though)

You're expecting a bit too much out of your device. Just loose your pocket and buy a new device if you wanna record 4k 120 fps
