Cyanogen Camera

Hi, i am sharing Cyanogen Camera which got installed on my Phone,
as many users cant install it from APKMIRROR, i thought this might help
Please say if its working or not !!

Yes it is working but auto focus works the same or worse than on stock/Better camera and the quality is also worse than stock/better camera - why would anybody use it?

sorry for the dissappointment
its just another camera which i found interesting, it takes images a little different than other camera apps, so i felt to share it :fingers-crossed:

The sensor can normally support 1080p in 60 fps (IMX 258 Sony), If someone manages to make it work, its would be great!

Google Camera Port by miniuser123

Hey there,
I used to use the @miniuser123 Google Camera Port for Exynos on my S8+.
Since the original port only supported snapdragon devices this guy figured he might aswell port it for other chipsets (exynos).
Surprisingly this version also works on my Mate 10 Pro BLA-L29.
The HDR+ although has a blueish tint, maybe this will work in the future since the pictures (portraits i took) look a lot more detailed.
Its like Googles post-processing utilizes your sensor much better. Especially when zooming in I can see a lot more detail in my hair and texture on my jacket.
Go check it out, maybe he will release a fix for this blueish tint if we ask nicely.

PS: I like to take portraits with the rear cam since its much better quality on any phone... check it out even though the color arent right, the quality is much better imo.

Can you please specify the version you used and the settings please.

It also works on Mate 10 ALP-L29 except the blueish tint issue.

Hi, how do you verify its taking pictures in hdr+?
On my previous phone where its fully working once I take a picture and switch to preview, there'll be a processing time of about 5 secs and it will say "processing" on top of the screen but I don't find all these in this version.

On regular Mate 10 is working, but really bad, flash is out of sync and pictures are awfull indors with low light.

+1 here. But I also noticed that its the case with any other app apart from the Huawei stock camera app.
If you try taking a pic with flash on WhatsApp or Viber you will notice the same issue.

V6 doesn't work on my device m10p. Blackscreen :crying:

Hey, just wanted to share some samples. since i do not want to show my face i simply zoomed in on the hair, you can see how much it differs.
Left gcam, right stock cam
also the lighting is much better and you can actually see the texture (pores etc) of my skin. The stock cam makes my skin washed out (beauty on 0)

Any update about this camera? I tried v4 but I really don't like the blue tint on portraits... Except that, it works fabulously!

As I said, in gallery I adjust settings, skin tone up, saturation up, color temp up
Seems a lot of work but I only use it sometimes for portraits so I can live with it.

I just tried it on my Mate 10 Pro BLA-L29 with stock EMUI 8.0.0 and sadly it just shows up a black screen ...

Change to Selfiecam and than back to the main camera.

Yeah, finally found a version that works partially on my Mate 10 Pro (Kirin 970).
GoogleCamera-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V7beta-2.apk is amazingly fast.
So far the Portrait Mode is already working on front an back. But it lags a bit of saturation, i don't know, maybe because of the secondary monochrom camera.
The other problem is the pink tint in the highlights.
And i can't find a way to enable the hdr+ toggle in the interface.
@Arnova8G2 Do you think there a way to fix that? It would be so awesome, it works as fast as on Pixel2XL!

AIS for the Honor Play

I was wondering that, HPlay only has EIS which is absolutely better than nothing, but since it has the flagship chipset could they add the "AIS" from the P20 pro? Would be cool seeing it in the Play since it gives overall better results than just EIS.

They said it will get it with an update in both launch events (India and Europe)!!
But it hasn't arrived yet, I don't know when...

Open camera , switch to video, go to settings.
Last option is 'Stabiliser'.,this is EIS.

I have what's in that most recent screenshot plus Stabiliser plus "priority save to sd card - burst photos will be saved to the internal storage".
UK Honor Play (4gb ram, 64gb internal), emui 8.2.0, current version cor-l29 8.2.0.130(c432), current patch package cor-l29 8.2.0.130(c432patch01).

COR-TL10 8.2.0.142 no EIS in Settings here.

Note 9 Camera Quality Issue?

I found this issue when I was taking low light pictures. It's like some pink flare at the edges of the photo, I don't know how to call it. It is visible only in a few low light situations.
Here is some of my captures + some pictures with the same issue I found on google (almost every night photos I found on google had this issue):
It's clearly visible when you turn up your screen brightness because it appears only in dark area like the sky.
Is it some defect?

It doesn't matter if there is a case or not. There is always the same "pink flare". I think it's like low quality camera sensor or something like that.
I hope you can see that flare in those pictures. Because it's clearly visible on my note 9. If not I can brighten those photos and reupload them.
Flash was off.
BTW I have exynos version.

I am sorry I deleted those pictures and now we are in the daytime. At night I will post some picture ,, for me note 9 camera is very bad

My experience with my Note 9 has been night and day since I've been using Arnova's Gcam port (Vs. the terrible stock camera app)

man that version is almost 100% working!
flash dosent work at all and playground stickers aren't. well so so but let's say the guardians of the galaxy dont.
still the best 6.x apk I've tried yet.

I have no issues using flash the only thing not working for me is slow motion video as for playground I do not use those.

works fine here...check if you dont have multiple cam apps and are opening the wrong one. also maybe you need to add xml config settings. follow guide:

Updated his version:
- Version without blacklist (for 8k and super resolution tests)
- 8K for devices with a 48MP sensor and a recent SOC or more 12GB of ram memory
- HDR10 video only for recent devices
- Super resolution in raw for oneplus device (7 and 8 series for moment)
- Super resolution in jpeg for all devices, similar to stock camera ( works on portrait on many devices )
- Attention changes have been made risk of bug with the xmls of the previous version.
So you have 50/48MP JPEG ONLY on Portrait Mode, things need to be fixed and probably RAW might need Root and Magisk. Thats why it was important to {Mod edit}

I remember when we donated for a mi9 for cosmin in the past to get custom rom it was allowed. Weird xda...

this could be a gamechanger for the Mi 11 Ultra.

there's a fund raising going on for him to get the phone to work on it.
but it was removed from here cause xda-developers is now xda-kangers friendly.

I tested the latest Gcam Version Snap_Gcam_6.1Beta.210708.1750build-8.1.101 on my Mi 11 Ultra. It works great, Congratulations Arnova!!
When you open the app it shows 3 buttons 0,6x 1x 5.2x. The 0.6x and 1x lens works perfectly. Only the Tele lens 5.2x generate only a 640x480 picture. So obviously the 5x Tele lens is not activaed yet. Is it possible to fix this?
