Hi everyone,
I have a Mi Max 2 without root and with MIUI Global 9.6 (9.6.3.0).
I have the problem that the buttons of the mobile phone stop working. I restart the phone and they go back to work for 5 or 10 minutes then they fail again.
Any solutions, please?
I'm sorry for my bad english.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I recently bought a X1 (second hand), and for several weeks it worked fine.
But the last week it keeps on restarting.
First i did a hard reset, then i installed hard-spl and flashed the phone with the newest Christian Rom (WM6.5). And still its rebooting.
Even when i'm not doing anything, it will reboot on it's own...
Not all the time, but approx 5 till 10 times a day.
Enough to get me crazy!
Please help.
I have searched the forum and found a few messages with the same problem, but no solutions.
TIA.
Roy
Maybe you should try out the MTTY tool? Search it a bit here and you'll find how to use it on the Xperia.. If that fails then I suppose its a hardware issue??

Thanks, but i can't figure out how this works.
Reading the forum, it looks like a tool for solving connecting and booting problems.
But thats not my problem...
The X1 simply reboots now and then. This mornig i installed the newest cristian clean rom, and it worked for a few hours. And then it restarted 5 times in a hour.
HELP! i don't know what to do.
TIA!

Yahh I've been getting this too recently, no idea why though as its been working fine the first few months with the touch x rom, haven't changed any software significantly in that time, but it will reboot seemingly randomly a couple times a day, but only when I'm not using it weirdly enough.
I'll try these suggestions and hopefully it may help.

Hi RedruM. I'm sorry to hear you have the same problem, but i'm glad i'm not alone in this anymore!
I found a stock rom yesterday and flashed it, and for allmost a day it worked fine.
But this mornig it restarted several times.
When i get home from work i will try the MTTY solution.
I hope you can figure out whats wrong. Please let me know.
Can't get mtty to work on my W7 computer...
any other idea's?
I have installed several roms, hard-spl'ed and stock-spl'ed...
Yesterday i had a good feeling with a stock rom from Vodafone and it worked!
Untill this morning... It began to restart again, and again and again...
Help?
:'(
Oke, got the mtty tool working on my XP laptop.
So i did this:
1 - Format memory card (fat32)
2 - Copy stock rom to card
3 - Do not insert card in phone yet
4 - Uncheck usb connect in Active sync
5 - Connect phone to pc
6 - Restart phone holding volume down and power button (tri collor screen)
7 - Start MTTY
8 - Get cmd prompt
9 - Type commands:
set 14 0
task 28 55aa
task 29
task 8
10 - Disconnect phone from pc
11 - Remove battery
12 - Insert memory card with rom
13 - Insert battery
14 - Restart phone holding volume down and power button (tri collor screen)
15 - Press power button to start update
16 - Wait for Update Complete - UPDATE SUCCESS
17 - Remove battery
18 - Remove meory card
19 - Insert battery and restart phone
20 - OS is installing
So far so good.
First thing my X1 does when customizing is..... RESTARTING!
What am i doing wrong?
Looks like the problem gets worse...
Multiple restarts in short time.
Rom doesn't matter... Stock or custom, it will restart.
Also the SPL doesn't matter. Hard-SPL or Stock-SPL, restarting...
Is there anybody out there who had the same problem and solved it?
Any help would be great!!!
Thanks!
Hello everybody !
I use a stock 2.2 ROM on my N1 for a while and started to experience a strange problem - when i switch on the device it vibrates 7 times and does not turn on. The screen is black.
Removed the battery, tried again, the same result.
What this could mean ? Please, help !

Try reflashing the stock RUU rom... should fix it. If not, you need to call for support.
The vibrates mean the phone can't initialise... normally fixed by a battery pull.
Hi, guys
So, I have a Xiaomi Mi 5 (gemini) 3/64. So, my phone suddenly showed com.android.systemui has stopped and it began to restart it self and now, my phone can't be used. (still able to boot up, but can't be opened on lockscreen). I could only restart/shut down my phone. I'm using 9.5.2.0 Global Stable ROM. Not rooted, but I've unlocked my bootloader. And this happened twice. I tried to format my phone, first it was working just fine and after a couple of days, that message showed again. So, I decided to install a custom ROM but I haven't turned on my usb debugging. If you guys have any suggestions/questions/solution related to my problem please comment!
Thanks,
p.s: sorry if my English is bad.
Hi guys, i have a problem, I activated DND mode yesterday. Now i see my phone can't vibrate, only when i connect charger.
I tried vibration test and only works when i'm charging phone too.
Any ideas or app/permission which can block vibration?
I check every config and i cant fix it. Obviously i deactivated DND mode to try
fixed flashing a new rom. This was an awkward bug, but anyways...

Did you install your from using a backup from an another phone?
It was the case for me. I just reset my phone and reinstalled it without using a backup. Now my problem is solved. It vibrates all the time.

Nah, it is not the case for me, I just updated the phone when there was the miui 11 update from xiaomi!!
So xiaomi official update introduced that issue to me.
So have I done something that apparently no one else has on XDA.
Hard bricked my Mi9?
I have heard that you cannot go back from Miui 11 to Miui 10 on China based models or try an install a rom with a locked bootloader.
None of those things are the case here as this is a global Mi9 purchased within New Zealand.
None of the usual tricks work. No battery light black screen no input response from buttons.
Appears like a total hard brick an I have no idea why. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with hard bricked Mi9s that have bricked for no reason after I did standard things an the bootloader was unlocked?

Now its time to fix the hard brick.
Charge your phone for 30-40 minute. No problem if it doesn't show.
On your laptop or PC
Go to this site and download the stock firmware and mi 9 flash tool
And adb driver too
Then connect to PC
And do what ever mentioned there

Hi, thank you for your reply. I can't follow those directions because i can't put my phone in fastboot or recovery mode since it doesn't respond to any combinations of buttons.

No. No luck with my Mi9. And now ive bricked my Redmi note 8 pro.
Looking at the redmi note 8. Easier to flash an mod an not so costly to replace lol.
Not as power ful as other cells but has many roms already. Around $360NZD. the Redmi note 8 pro was $502 an my Mi9 origionally was $860.
I dont need a flagship. Just something good that I can change to suit myself.
