Hello everybody !
I use a stock 2.2 ROM on my N1 for a while and started to experience a strange problem - when i switch on the device it vibrates 7 times and does not turn on. The screen is black.
Removed the battery, tried again, the same result.
What this could mean ? Please, help !

Try reflashing the stock RUU rom... should fix it. If not, you need to call for support.
The vibrates mean the phone can't initialise... normally fixed by a battery pull.

Hey guys , I', having a problem powering on my Droid.Almost every time I try and turn it on , the Backlight of the screen will come on for a few seconds then shut off. I then need to take the battery out etc just to make it do that again. Then every once in awhile after a few minutes of playing with it , I would finally get to the Dual core screen. Now this has only been happening since I installed safestrap V3 , I was fine with all the previous safestraps. But now , even after a reflash , it does this. Any suggestions?

Are you running a custom ROM or is this the stock slot?
Hey , sorry its taken so long to reply. And yes , I'm using the stock slot , and sometimes I use custom slots. But no matter what kind of ROM is it , now it continues doing it.
Hi guys i have a problem with my optimus. i woke up in the morning to check if i have any messages bla bla and i cant unlock my phone, i can't do anything with it because my touch doesn't work and i don't know why... it's not broken or anything. i tried to do flash a new rom and it worked but then i did a reboot and then the same problem... If anyone had this problem please help me!!

I've had this happen a couple of times now; no idea the cause. I pull the battery, pop it back in, power up, and all is well.
What ROM are you using?

i was using Zeus v7.06 i think, when it happend, now im on official 4.0.4 and i still can't do anything with it..

I'm new here and hope you can help me even if it is only a little bit
So I have a Samsung Galaxy S I9000 with stock rom 2.3.6, root rights and cwm flashed.
Before I did this I had some problems with my phone, e.g. if I hit (gently) the back side the phone turns off =/
My new at the moment real problem is that I cannot turn my phone on if I only use the battery. (onlly the Samsung logo appears for a short time)
I can only boot it if the phone is pluged into my computer. When it runs and the display turns off, the phone will go off also. (not instantly but atfter 2-5 minutes)
Does anyone knows something about such a problem?

Weird try a flashing a custom ROM while plugged into the computer maybe it will help.

Seems to me like a hardware problem.I guess battery is going to die soon.Try with another battery.

I can exclude the battery. I have tested two of them and I can be sure that both are well because they work in another Galaxy S I9000 without problem.
To flash a custom rom with plugged phone into computer will be tested tomorrow.

Good luck:good:But I would suggest to flash stock gb rom first just to make sure its not a software problem.
I remember @xsenman has mentioned a solution for this problem about two months ago..... I am sure he will write you soon here.
I had the same problem with my phone, it would reboot if i tapped the back of it, i found out it was a dodgy app i installed so i uninstalled a couple of apps i recently installed and it solve the problem.
So know I have tryed to flash with connected phone. I do not know whether it works because the phone won't boot the system, only recovery and bootloader.
In cause of this I have reflashed with Odin again. Now I get at reboot this screen:

I understand what there is written but I don't know why, the only sdcard is my internal there is no external connected.
So there is a new problem and I would be glad about new ideas =\
(I tryed: reboot, wipes and reboot, wipes and new flashing (same problem))

Straight to the point, first of all, this problem exists in 4 ROMS that i had (its impossible but somehow) I had existenZ, existenZ black, Hashuan and Liquid 3.0 (4.4.2). The problem begins, when i try to call somebody, then my screen is turning off and it doesnt recover, i MUST w8 after someone will hung up and then after 3 minutes everythings back to normal. This happens only when i try to call somebody. I flashed nyaka kernel, dooslord kernel and nothing really works...somebody please help.
Whats could be the reason i will try to change something.
Any ideas?

Dial *#*#7378423#*#* and go to service test menu.
There u'll find "proximity switch" option... Test it,if it is working.
One more thing u can do is flashing stock firmware...
Hey guys, I just got a htc one m7 at a good price because of its problem with charging. there is still no fix for the no charging problem on the htc One m7?
On the stock rom i needed to reboot , go in safe mode, reboot again and then it was charging untill i got a phone call and it stoped ..
Then I have installed a costum rom and every time I want to charge it i need to reboot my phone and if i close the screen or recieve a phone call it cancels the charging and i need to reboot again..to charge it..and charging is very very slow eaven though it is on AC mode , i am currently running Slim rom 4.4.4 ( first time i tried withouth installing a costum ketnel, still no fix ) now I have installed a costum kernel and still the same thing..please guys help me!

You have tried with both stock and custom roms with the same results. It is a hardware issue most likely a loose connection. Send it to a repair center.
If it were a hardware issue why it chsrges after reboot only?
