Hello Everyone as stated.
I have an international variant of HTC One HTL22. I am also using a mac OS computer.
I unlocked the bootloader and had s off and CID as 111111
The phone was also rooted.
So first I paid a guy in japan to s off and cid the phone along as rooting the phone.
THen I unlocked bootloader.
I downloaded the Android Revolution HD's latest rom.
I flashed into recovery and it went into Clockworkmod.
I wiped and erased all the cache. I installed the ROM and everything seemed going fine until i rebooted the phone.
Now its stuck on the bootloop and always trying to go into recovery but failing. I can get into a different menu by pressing power and volume down. But everytime i try and click factory reset or anything else it just boots into a loop again.
I tried accessing the phone on the Mac OS Terminal but it is not showing up when i try and type up adb devices on the terminal (command prompt)
Please help! I am desperate here!!

Afaik, the HTC One HTL22 (M7_WLJ) is not an international variant, its a Japanese variant for KDDI carrier
I downloaded the Android Revolution HD's latest rom.
I flashed into recovery and it went into Clockworkmod.

From arhd thread:
For HTC One International GSM/LTE (UL), International GSM (U), all U.S. carriers (apart from Sprint) (click here for more details)

Yours is a M7_WLJ, not a M7_UL neither a M7_U. Unless you have download a version of arhd modified to run on your WLJ, you have flashed a rom not compatible with your phone...
Now better to head to this thread:

ADB only works from a booted rom or from custom recovery, in bootloader you must use fastboot commands, i.e fastboot devices

I see I flashed an incompatible rom.
So now I am stuck in a boot loop. It seems I am able to go onto fastboot and the Terminal (CMD) recognizes the device but I cant get the ADB to recognize the phone.
I don't know what to do after that. Can I flash a compatible rom using an SD card? Or does it have to be on the internal storage?
How do I get it back so that it just loads back onto the stock ROM that it once had?
edit: yeah so I went into fastboot and erased cache which got me back into clockwork mod and using an SD card I tried installing the HTC J One Maximus Rom and the HTCsoku Global Edition ROM and everytime it reboots it just keeps getting stuck on the htc logo entering or trying to enter recovery mode.
Bootloader is still unlocked, S-OFF, CID11111. When I got the phone back from the service guy.
All I did was unlocked the bootloader. He rooted the phone already. So I was hoping to just install a working ROM and then unlock the SIM on the phone.
Any help/advice/ is always appreciated for sure.

Maybe it was not clear:
ADB only works from a booted rom or from custom recovery If you can't make ADB works from custom recovery, your drivers are probably not installed correctly.

You might want to check this thread. here you can find custom recovery and custom rom for your HTL22. Look at the last page, there is an updated rom list for your phone variant.
You can probably flash the rom both from the sdcard or from the internal storage. You can push the rom to your internal storage using ''adb push'' command from twrp recovery.

well after a painful 12 hours I managed to flash a twr recovery that worked. I was able to flash a 4.4 kitkat rom with sense 6.0.
I have an au kddi Iphone 4s micro sim and I want to input that onto the HTC one. I dont think I need to unlock sim for it as its on the same network.
However, when I try to put it on the phone.....I get no signal. I tried WDCMA only and GSM only and to no avail. Any advice?

Hello people.I am a noob to rooting phones.I recently rooted my Sony Xperia ZR running stock rom , Kitkat 4.4.2
I used Towelroot by Geohotz to root the phone and have unlocked the bootloader with the official procedure of unlocking bootloaders
I would like to install TWRP or CWM custom recovery but i am unable to since i cant boot into recovery.
I tried quick boot and the hardware combinations but in vain
build number : 10.5.A.0.230
kernel : 3.4.0-perf-g32ce454
*********
I have now been able to flash the clockworkmod zip using flashify still ahvent been able to get into recovery mode
http://nut.xperia-files.com
Download the latest version for the ZR, and be sure to get the one that has 'installer' in its name. Extract and run install.bat and there you go - the latest PhilZ touch and TWRP. In fact, this is the only way I know of to get TWRP above 2.6.3.0 for the ZR.
The xperia ZR(c5502) is a great phone but a pain in the ass when it comes to finding anything on custom recovery for it. Does the dual boot work on unlocked bootloader cos mine is.
Hello,
I have problem with my HTC Desire 500 Dual Sim that it is on HTC Logo at boot and never proceeds.
Here is what I did:
- I rooted the phone using CWM Recovery from This
- I Then installed KangBang (Full Root for 1.32) from the same above link instructions.(didn't know to mount)
Doing above I got a problem that phone was not booting then I needed to take battery out and wait for sometimes to make it boot and work.
So, I tried to flash the ROM (Stock ROM version 1.20) again from the above link and instructions.
After flashing the rom now my phone is stuck at HTC logo. I flashed the stock recovery and kernel found on internet again but didn't help. So re-flashed the KangBang kernel and CWM recovery back.
Now my I have KangBang kernel (didn't mount anything) and CWM recovery and my phone is on HTC logo.
I used "fastboot getvar cid" and it shows HTC_J15 and the "version-main" is empty for my phone.
Also it is S-ON.
What should I do to resolve the problem?
Any help would be appreciated.
Guys please i own an infinix hot 2 x510 with the Android One Stock OS i wanted to know is there any way i can install a custom recovery without having to unlock the bootloader because all the tutorials i have seen so far for installing a custom recovery for andriod one the devices that were listed my device wasnt part plus my device has no stock recovery and theres no option to access fast boot mode also with my device how will i be able to check if the bootloader is locked or unlocked since there is no fast boot mode any help will be highly appreciated thanks
I have the same problem. What country is your location?
I haven't tried rooting yet with Kingroot and heard it doesn't work on 5.1.1. Even if it does, I haven't found any way to install a custom recovery.
This is a new phone, so hopefully in the next few weeks someone will figure out how to root it and install a custom recovery.
Am from Ghana originally my infinix hot 2 came with android 5.0 it wasn't the andriod one stock 5.1 OS even the stock OS it came with can be found here at xda infinix hot 2 forums. That rom had a recovery and fastboot mode but that recovery it had was so basic no option to flash zip or other functions that twrp, philz or cwm gives also that rom is available at the official infinix site along with the andriod one stock OS. I wasn't impressed with the OS on my phone so I flashed the andriod one version but to my surprise it has no recovery and no fastboot mode I tried the keys for entering into the recovery but it shows a black screen with no command written I tried flashing a micromax android one cwm recovery using flashify and nandriod manager both reported that the recovery installed sucessfully but when I reboot into recovery I get a no command message I tried easy philz and twrp installer same result both reported the recovery installed sucessfully but when you reboot into recovery still no command error even if I flash the non andriod one the one with the stock recovery it doesn't show no command when you reboot but it still displays the stock recovery. I have managed to root mine sucessfully with kingroot app it worked both the andriod one stock os and the other stock 5.0 OS which can be found here.
Kingroot worked on 5.1.1 the andriod one rom for infinix hot 2 is 5.1.1 the other stock lollipop rom is 5.0 and kingroot worked for both
I bought a used Moto XT1068 Dual Sim, which was running on 6.0 Marshmallow.
Tried to root it with Windroid Toolkit v.3.1 but step 3 (get root) didn't succeed.
Then tried this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_9vkJvzWcU
After installing SU phone is stuck on Motorola logo.
- bootloader is unlocked
- I have TWRP 3.0.2-3
I already tried to flash several stock ROMS (with TWRP) from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...riginal-motorola-firmware-collection-t3153533
and from here:
https://firmware.center/firmware/Motorola/Moto G (2nd gen-2014)/Stock/XT1068/
Nothing worked out.
When trying to flash stock rom there always was an error like:
"Could not find 'META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary' in the zip file".
Am I doing something wrong?
Which is the correct ROM for XT1068 Dual SIM Europe?
Or would you recommend Cyanogenmod?
Thanks a lot in advance.
You can't flash stock ROMs from recovery. Use PC and flash the right file. And yea, use lineage
Os. Its one hell of a rom
Thank you!
That's just what I needed to know. Flashing from PC worked out!
Will try lineage os. (But never again without backup).
Same with mw..stuck at WARNING SCREEN after flashing SU.
I would like to flash EU stock .
Someone can help out?
