Bootloop in XT1097

Hi
I just got a XT1094, with the chilean carrier Movistar everything was great until I installed a leaked new version of google seach, the phone stop working and when I turn it of and turn it on again gets on a boot loop hole.
I can access the fastboot mode but when I use recovery appears the android robot wih the warning sign for a few second and then it goes to the boot loop again, factory reset dosn´t work neither.
The phone isn´t rooted or have the bootloader unlock.
Please I am starting to get kind of desesperate.
You have the XT1094 ? Odd, i bought it on release on same carrier and it is the XT1097
If its not rooted or unlocked, just go to Movistar and change it, ill do that since if you mess up something you might lose warranty.

Actually I assume that was that version but I cant confirm, I cant return it to movistar one of the first thing that I did was let it escape of my hands so it now have a few scratch that will avoid the warranty I am sure.
I dont think that a few scratches will void warranty, after all the problem is "software", just go and say that it doesnt turn on and it goes to bootloop
Especially when it is THIS new, and its not the hardware that it fails. I assume that since its unrelated it should not void it
I will try it, I don't know what else to do I will have to go tomorrow.
In the worst scenario if they tell me that my warranty is voided, What sould I do?
I think you could flash another stock rom trough ADB, look for a pure edition (Brazilian should be ok)... That should work.
By the way, in the base of the phone is the version of your phone (next to where you charge the phone)

Yeah I haven't noticed it until a few minutes and you were right is a XT1097.
I have downloaded a few stock roms called moto x pure KXE21.187-42 and a Moto x pure multi tool that in the post said that work with XT1097 also but I need to have the bootloader unlocked and I don't know if I can unlock the bootloader in this status.
You can access fastboot, so yes you should be able to unlock it (search the FAQ in this forum for more info on how to do it)
BUT go to movistar first, keep this as a backup plsn, if you mess something you may lose the phone.

[question] how to relock bootloader & calibration screen color

Yeah, like a title, i have 2 questions,
I want to root my phone (to calibration color of my phone, since a last version from android 6, huawei edited color too shine).
Could i relock bootloader after roll back to STOCK ROM? And how?
- second question: How could i calibration screen color?
My phone: GR5 Mini - NMO L31C636B351 (Android 7.0) - asia ver.
Hope someone help me, thank you very much!
p.s: forgive me, my english so bad...
Yes you can relock the bootloader. With you phone connected to your laptop , using fastboot, type the command: fastboot lock bootloader(or relock). You could also simply flash the original stock firmware/boot image but I think you might lose all your data.
As for the hue of the screen, I can only think of going in settings---> colour temperature---> and adjust to your liking.
(Gimme a thanks/thumbs up if that helps):good:

How to know bootloader status?

How do i check the bootloader status of my phone? My phone was sold to me after changing chinese rom to Google play one by seller. So i wanted to check if the bootloader is unlocked or not.
When you turn it on, at the splash screen it will say Unlocked (red letters in my case)

Rebranding chinese P20 pro

Hi all,
I'm a little ignorant on this subject, so I'll ask all my questions here. Please, be kind...
I'm moving from a brazilian Xperia XZ to a chinese P20 Pro (my father-in-law works there) and I know that I need to do a rebranding.
But the question is: For which firmware/local?
What I found until now is that the phone has a FW version (is that correct?) CLT-AL00.
Thanks in advance for the answers!

You need to use FunkyHuawei rebranding tool and firmware installation. I had the same model and rebranded to European version CLT-L29. It removed all the Chinese language and made the phone 100% English, which was my goal.
First: Obtain unlock code for the bootloader from Huawei. Contact UK Team.
Second: Create account on FunkyHuawei and buy enough credits to rebrand and install firmware (FunkyHuawei will help you choose the correct ones, ask them)
Third: Follow instructions and contact FunkyHuawei team if you have problems using their tools.
Notes:
After rebranding and firmware installation, you're bootloader will continue to display a message that you're bootloader is unlock and untrust. To fix that, just lock the bootloader again with your unlock code. Don't lose it.
Fastboot mode = Connect USB + Power Down + Volume Down
eRecovery mode = Connect USB + Power Down + Volume Up
Rebranding is not permanent. You change the region again if you want. Same with the firmware.
If you need to recovery for some reason, eRecovery might work with Huawei servers. If eRecovery doesn't work using the normal method, use FunkyHuawei to recover again with firmware installation.
Backup everything before recovering. Cloud backup, PC backup, or whatever method you choose. Keep a record of your system information. Example: IMEI, Serial Number, Serial Number. Some tools can modify these for some reason, so if that happens, you have the necessary numbers to restore. Screenshot them from Settings app and Backup those screenshots.
If you have 2-step authentication apps on your phone, backup those settings or keys before rebranding or installing/recoverying firmware, or you will lose access to certain services.
That was helpful, thank you!
Wow, about $50usd to rebrand? There goes the savings I had buying the China version lol

The phone arrives today and I find that it already comes with 8.1. Can I rebranding with the same method?
You can also do the same for free. There is my tutorial and files which you need

How can I lock the boot loader again after I have unlocked it?
OK, I understand myself
Use fastboot OEM relock xxxxxxxxxx
This is kind of random, but if i purchase the Chinese variant of this phone does anyone know if it would work on CDMA technology (Verizon)
Where/how to find the rebranding codes
Hi all,
I do have the same issue... I have a Chinese version P20 Pro which I would like get into the European version.
I’ve contacted huawei support but they told me that the unlocking codes are no more available for end users . Is there any solution ?
To have the Chinese version does not allow me to have wathsapp etc.
Thanks for you help.

You can do almost everything with the chinese version, you just need to install the Google Apps by yourself (sideloading) first.

Unlocking Mi 8 - "nasty" message on boot ?

After you unlock officially (or using the Mi 8 Unlocker I've seen) is there a nasty message when you boot (like on the Nokia 8 for instance) saying that the device has been unlocked and cannot be trusted ? Thanks !
So after some digging it seems that based on what's written here : http://en.miui.com/thread-246705-1-1.html
Once unlocked : "- An "Unlocked" word will be shown when booting."
I assume relocking would remove this message ?
It doesn't matter dude, just use your phone.
If you want to relock your bootloader, please be careful, if you come from China to global rom, that's breaks your phone
