International Note 9 Questions...

I have a Note 9 on order from Rogers (Canada), but am interested in the dual-SIM, International Exynos version from eBay. Anyone know if the Exynos version supports Google Pay (one of the ads stated it didn't) or if there are other issues to consider when picking up an international, Exynos edition?
The key motivator for me is the dual-SIM. An unlocked bootloader would be good to have, but not necessary for my needs. Would the dual-SIM Snapdragon version offer any advantages?
N9600 should work in Canada and not the Exynos version due to LTE band support frequency.

Is there a way to enable VoLTE on JIO network India on SM-N960U1?

As the title says, I tried to get VoLTE on my USA unlocked note 9 to use JIO in India by flashing different firmwares using different CSC's (VZW, TMB, even Canadian global) but to no avail. Is there any patched CSC or Indian CSC that I can use to enable VoLTE on JIO?
Even I wanted to do so.
I talked with customer care of jio as well as Samsung USA
They told it is not able to use Indian VoLTE on US phones. Only airtel and other Sims work
Jio won't work whatever you do
And no chance of rooting snapdragon phones

Does unlocked Samsung S10 from USA work in India and JIO network with VOLTE support

Hi All
I am planning to buy Samsung S10 from USA (unlocked) and I would be visiting India and I would like to know if it will work in India and will it work in Jio network on VOLTE ? I would like to know this before deciding to purchase the phone.
Thanks
Jio appears to use the LTE bands B3, B5, and B40.
The S9 US unlocked version (which I believe is the SM-G960U) supports those as well as a handful others.
Now I know you didn't ask about the S9, but I don't know if they have released that info for the S10 yet and I would assume Samsung wouldn't downgrade the bands. Someone else may be able to chime in and provide more info though.
Thanks outbreak. If S9 US unlocked works with jio then S10 also should work.
When you say S9 works with jio do you mean Volte also works?

That, I wouldn't be able to speak of... Sorry
I have used the T-Mobile S8 in India. I couldn't use the VoLTE on JIO and had to use JIO Voice app to make calls.

Found this on the S8 forums. Doesn't look like it's possible at this time with the S9, the S10 is probably the same as well...
It works
I am responding so that it will be helpful for others. Yesterday I landed in India and I put the jio sim in US unlocked galaxy s10 sm-g973u1 and viola volte works fine. I am able to make and receive calls over volte.
Before putting the jio sim I was assuming volte will not work as every where in the Internet it was written volte will not work with us variant . I happy it works.
Hello Rahul, did you buy this phone online or from the Samsung store?

SM-N960F, which US carrier

Which US provider had the best support for international version of Note 9?
I tried T-mobile but VoLTE does not work.
Thanks

Best International Note 9 Model for T-Mobile US?!

Looking at possibly picking up a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 International Model for use on the T-Mobile US Network. It looks like the most compatible Variant is the N960F UK model - would someone be able to confirm if this is correct? Thanks for any help that may be sent my way.
n960f/ds is international unlocked. The complete continent of Europe has this model. ds varient has 2 sim card slots. if I were you I would inform yourself of the frequencies that tmo US uses and then compare that to the 960f model to make sure it works. I am American and I've used my 960f is US without issues. but still you should confirm that yourself
