I'm always flashing recoveries using odin but I don't want to use that very often so I want to use rom manager, unfortunately the app doesn't list my device p7500 (p4), only p4wifi and others.

The p4 build is here;

Are you saying ROM Manager isn't detecting a recovery for the p4?

Do you know if the ROM you are running identifies your device as a "p4" or a "p7500"?

Goodmorning, still the same, also rom manager detect that currently I have TWRP when in fact I have CWM.
Oh, and I tried a while ago to view all devices and I can see p4, can I use that?
Edit: I think why rom manager doesn't display p4 on my device is because it detects it as p7500 and not p4. I could be wrong.

It should be detecting both gt-p7500 and p7500 as the p4 now. Give it a go.
I installed CWM 5.xx on my P4 (GT P7500) via Odin and since then I have flashed and updated through the successive updates until the current one 6.0.3.0. I have never had a problem with it, not once did Odin failed me. Furthermore, it is not a requisite that you must install Rom Manager before you can install CWM Recovery. I do not have Rom Manager installed on my device. If Rom Manager is not working for you, why don't you spend a little time to master the use of Odin, you will save yourself a ton of trouble, stress and time.
Cheers!

As i said before, I don't want to use odin that often, to further elaborate why, I have a busted cord. So I prever not to use odin. Please read first before putting such post.
Ps. I'm very fond of using odin since I'm modifying stock roms without bootloader on galaxy mini.

As a matter of fact I read through the entire thread before I posted my reply. Can't remember seeing 'bursted cable' being the reason you prefer not to use odin otherwise I would have suggested mobile odin, even though I have not used it so far; or that you changed your cable. Following your elaboration, I now understand. If any part of my post, the language or manner of putting across my suggestions offended you in anyway, kindly forgive me as I was only trying to be of help and definitely not to offend you.

Thanks for the info about the mobile odin part, I read a post somewhere here saying that mobile odin doesnt flash recoveries, I'll give it a try.
Oh and that flashable zip thing is a great idea, why didn't I think of that before haha. I can do that myself but I think it would be better if someone more experienced could do it. I would pretty much appreciate it if you would do so. may I suggest to make a cwm and a twrp one, or aroma to choose from the two haha. thanks alot.
EDIT: NVM, I already made one haha thanks anyway.

Sorry to say the installer app doesn't do anything magical - it just installs the matching cyanogenmod onto your phone. Since there is no official release for the active, it just won't work.
Right, but I know we've been experimenting with running s4 mods through safestrap. I was curious if anyone had tried something similar to experiment. Of course, they don't have the at&t s4 as supported either, so...

Hey, I have an Xperia Z C6603 with an Unlocked Bootloader running 4.3 build number 10.4.B.0.569 from the carrier Three in the UK. It's rooted and the root works since TiBackup works fine and a custom recovery is installed I think. Anyway, I downloaded Xposed installer recently and clicked Install/Update and rebooted. The "Framework" menu screen says active and bundled are the same but on the home of the app it says "The latest version of Xposed is currently not active. Did you install the framework and reboot?". Any help? It may be something stupid that I haven't done properly but I'm sure someone can figure it out.
Did you see this in the OP of the Xposed thread?
Xperia users: If Xposed doesn't work for you, try this test version: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48484642&postcount=6846

If you're already using that version, something is wrong and you should ask rovo for help in the Xposed thread.

Ah, that worked, thanks. As I said, stupid error by me. I really should have read the OP...

Okay then, never saw that, this one is latest v.2_6_1
GermainZ, I'm on ics 4.0.3 and had to use the static busybox to complete installation, does it still serve purpose or can I uninstall it?

XposedOldIcon will work on any version. If you need the static busybox version, you use it - it doesn't serve a temporary purpose, it's there for "special" ROMs (see FAQ for more info), so the only answer I can give you is Try It And Seeā¢.
Hi guys! I was considering installing xposed on my Samsung Galaxy A3 SM-A320FL, Exynos7870.
My phone is installed with TWRP 3.1.1-1 and rooted with latest beta superSU.
I am a bit unsure on how to install it. Is it enough to install the.zip in twrp or do I have to do more?
Thanx, Best regards, RayBomb

I am sorry, but I suppose it's important to say what ROM I got installed. I got stock ROM installed, android 6.0.1
OH and again, it's Samsung A3(2017)

I guess the silence means I can not install it... Thanx.
