I am using it now. And bro, is it safe to use cpu at 3800mhz? I am afraid that my motherboard gonna crash cz you transformed snapdragon to Intel core i7
Can i use the 8.1 gapps instead of 9.0 gapps? Also what should i choose on kernel download, miui or aosp?

I guess that is just reported wrong from the app, there is no way you can overclock 90% any cpu without an exotic cooling solution.Or it's a screenshot from another cpu already clocked higher from the factory but also unlikely.

You're wrong bro he actually did it see with other apps. And about cooling the cpu, it isn't gonna stay on maximum frequency all the time. So it'll not overheat i guess with interactive governor.
Bro, 3808Mhz sounds unsafe for a cell phone processor……but I will try it out anyway. Thanks for your work!

Well i'm so happy that i'm wrong Although i'm still sceptic about the longetivity of the cpu cause even if the temperatures are fine the voltage bump must be pretty high to be stable at that frequency. Can you post some Antutu benchmark scores? Also do we have control over voltages?First time since a year that i'm so excited to test a rom! Kudos @Vony C

Just couple of things...
Hydrogen and helium use the same kernel so no problem there. Also please comment out "CONFIG_SDCARD_FS=y" in config if haven't already... it causes problems so far and is still present in Lineage repo.
Thank you for bringing custom kernel to us. We need one...

The same kernel for hydrogen will work on helium?
And what's the different between them (don't know much about that devices)?

Thanks, anyone can test it on helium?
Today will be RC3 with some optimalization, kcal, some governors and sdcardfs disabled.
Stay tuned!
Edit: Today will be rebase to miui source.
Any chance for the kernel working on MIUI? And working overclocking?

Take it easy cowboy!
Cuple of suggestions;
Add deadline IO,
Rework the Interactive infrastructure to make it better,
Don't make it to much franken,
Do the CVE's as in official tree for CM's now as kernel is mostly up to CAF mainline,
Add Linaro power optimised work queues & don't rely to much on Frankos work.
Now all things I actually suggested so far can pass as the main line & get into any rom. Actually even AOSP's builds use same kernel repo.
Personally I would prefer that you switch to the Github (but you probably won't) so that I can coment commits directly.
https://bitbucket.org/wisniew99/harfix4-mi-max/commits/1b07e93f700def18fa454f80d5fb042526325701
As much as I like Idea I dislike implementation (just keeping general idle state longer even its not to much exaggerated).
Whose actually thinking is it possible to switch entirely in active state to QC (ARM reference) power state when CPU cache is always kept on the idle frequency wile logical blocks are shot down.
It's rather unfortunate that you don't own the device.
If you did I would suggest some compiler flags optimizations experiments.
Best regards.

Yes, disable sdcardfs or people will have to edit build.prop to disable it on some roms.
Hydrogen and helium use the same kernel source and config, no any dereference.

Deadline, interactive, CVE (I thinks its there but I will look at this again), linaro power (can You tell me example commit for this).
About that commit what You say, You want it revert?
Thanks for suggestions.
Kernel is basing on updates, not on one final release and fixes, so all suggestions are welcome.

Ok, will disable in next version.
So this kernel will work on helium too, yeah?
Just for reference on the power efficient work queues:
https://lwn.net/Articles/548281/
Kumar did most work on 3rd, 4th & 5th literation, naturally 5 is the best one as it have config switch.
Find one in the some of the repos for msm kernels so that it is a more straight forward for you, it's quite common & widely used this days. Interactive is their but rather older & simplified implementation of it, deadline isn't & CVE's are the never ending story.
About that commit I say it doesn't resolve anything & culd represents problem later cross interfering with other core control logic so drove your own conclusions from it.
Can You guys test that kernel on non CM-based roms?

Think it will need repacking so ask the guys that are behind (compiled them) AOSP based room's that way you also get a good quality control.
Some time at the end of the the month I would probably join you if their is still steam for now holidays are still not over for me & this is my daily driver, still locked and all.

I've tried your ROM on my Heluim
After updater-script mod - on first line
And ALL 8 CPU CORE working defaultly normally without any modification.
Congrats!
Can somebody test quick charge?can reach 2,4A?
Thank you for your great Rom.
downloading, hopefully there is no issues for Bluetooth calling.
i will give the feedback soon.
Can somebody inform about battery drain issue?...if rom is stable with good battery life then it is worth to try.....
internet connection very slow ,,,,
Guys if your reporting bugs, please be sure to attach a relevant logcat wherever required.
Simply saying 'xyz feature works slow/doesn't work' won't help the developer. Instead it will just clutter the thread.
Hope you guys understand

Since loading of cores works properly as stated by a helium user earlier, there's no other problem that helium users face while flashing hydrogen roms , so it's really a waste of time to build 2 roms which are exactly the same in all aspect, so I can release a build that can be flashed on both hydrogen and helium. But there won't be any seperate zip

You need to unpack this ROM, find updater-script, make modification (replace 2 hydrogen text to helium) and last you need relpace this new updater-script in the ROM.

About NLOS
NLOS is an unofficial LineageOS build with many additional features, originally created by @nvertigo67. I have built it for the Essential Phone, so keep any questions or concerns to me, and don't direct them at him, as he's got nothing to do with this port and probably doesn't want to be bothered with problems he can't solve.
Extra Features
Signature spoofing
Custom kernel based on @return.of.octobot's awesome neutrino kernel
Wireguard support
KCAL
Additional CPU governors and I/O Schedulers
Signature spoofing for microG
One handed mode
March security patch
Pixel boot animation
Pixel GApps included
Other stuff I'm forgetting
Issues
I'm not sure yet. Let me know.
Instructions
Flash like any other ROM. Boot temporary TWRP, wipe data, cache, dalvik, flash the ROM, flash the TWRP installer

Yeah, you can blame XDA giving an error 500 every time I tried to submit it for that. I told the mods and I'm hoping they'll sort it out
Nice! Thank you.
Sounds nice - thanks for keeping development for the PH-1 alive!
I'll likely install this once we get confirmation that it doesn't have any glaring issues.

He's probably talking about the issue I had: no touch in the main rom. TWRP in my case worked flawlessly, but upon rebooting into the rom to set it up, well, it was unusable as touch support wasn't functional.
I'll probably throw this on my phone again temporarily later to try and get logs. My gut says it's something to do with HALs.

I can't say about the other guy's case, but I came from a completely stock 9.0 March update. so firmware was up to date. Unless this was intended for older firmware (which that would explain things)

I'll add what I feel is necessary. That many congestion algorithms just sounds bloated and unnecessary.

Logs would be incredibly appreciated, if possible. Unfortunately, Lineage no longer ships userdebug builds with ADB enabled by default for some odd reason. I made the changes to fix that, but they won't be in effect until next build. So if you have another method of input, like a usb mouse, that's the only way I know of for now.

Yeah, adb off by default negates any ability to get logs when the touchscreen is non-functional. Was an idea, though!

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

I compile with existing resources.
This is why the list of changes I have compiled is the same.
When the resources are updated, they are updated in other roms.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

It's happening to all of us (see the "Known issues" section above). Updating some vendor blobs should fix it, but I think I'll need some help with it.

Probably a week, but I don't know if I'll be able to find a fix.
Thanks for working on this tablet, looking forward to seeing what you can come up with. I have one of these and its sister (Tab 4 8+) and they've been reliable for me, but only because the dev community keeps them alive!
So the main issue with this is a GPU lag, right? That being the case, I wonder how difficult it would be to switch to freedreno+mesa?
And come to think of it, the msm8917 (snapdragon 425) is basically the same as the msm8916 (snapdragon 410) found in the Dragonboard 410c, which is very well supported by upstream kernel and moderately by AOSP/Linaro. Probably wouldn't be too terrible of a job to get this thing running blob free on upstream code.

1. Yes, a new build is coming in a few days. Unfortunately, the lag issue still isn't fixed.
2. I've tested some games and they're working fine. It probably depends on HW acceleration in games.
3. I didn't build LineageOS 17.1, that one is by @highwaystar_ru .
