hi guys i got my phone unlocked and everything was fine then i updated it to 7.0.7390.0 and now cant get it unlocked using the chevronwp7 unlocked.
i keep getting the "sorry i am having trouble communicating " error and i followed the steps here

but after the update still cant unlock.

Hi, I was hoping I can get some help with my phone. I'm trying to unlock my boot loader using htcdev but I keep getting this problem after I enter in my device token.
Unlocking Bootloader Failed!
Error Code:173
Error Reason: Check Rule Fail with exception.
Can anyone help me with this? I've unlocked many android phones before (nexus are a lot easier) but my One is giving me issues...
I literally just got this phone lol and I want to unlock it. It has the latest 4.3 update and hboot 1.55

I have a brand new blue model and the same thing is happening to me, and has all day.....

are you registered and signed in on htedev.com and are you highlighting it properly if you highlight one row to far it will err, also use a 2.0 usb port not a 3.0, also selecting all other supported devices in selection list

I think it's HTC Dev I just tried and it would hang when I clicked submit and got the same error as everyone else.
Maybe they are overwhelmed with all the new Black Friday deals..everyone trying to unlock at the same time

Unlocked smoothly and quickly this morning; probably an overworked server yesterday......
I'm getting error 80188309 when I try to install WP8.1 developers preview. I got a bootloader unlocked Huawei W1 with interop unlock. Someone else receiving the error?

Well people I'm new here and I wanted to ask for your help, I have a Moto X 2013 XT1058 that was presenting some problems so I decided to flash it a new rom (I was in android 5.1 so I do a downgrade to 4.4.4) well the downgrade was not a problem, but when I update the phone to 5.1 started the problem, the phone do not started normally it started in fastboot mode and having the warning of

Downgrade Security Version
update gpt_main version failed
failed to hab check for gpt_backup: 0x35
CID read failure
invalid CID status 0x69
customer id error. contact dealer: 0xdead
when I try to flash the gpt bin it gives me error of remote failure and the same when I try to unlock the bootloader
please help me I'm desperate

You can't unlock bootloader via any mtk auth bypass tool, beacause your device have latest security patch.
